This trail was super easy with a slight slope going down. The only thing that would make this trail difficult is if you are afraid of heights because of the narrowing of the paved trail and the outlook. Love it. There is also an elevation medallion on top of one of the stacks of rock.

Short hike to amazing views, we spent a couple hours here enjoying the scenery. Horseshoe Bend is a must see, but pretty busy spot.

Nice short hike close to Kanab. There are a lot of ATV trails going off in all directions, and I was glad I had the map pulled up on the AllTrails app. GoogleMaps brought me to a small parking area right where Rt 106Q intersects with 106 near where 106 intersects with Hwy 89. There was a barbwire fence with a gate you could open and then I just walked straight up 106Q. It is sandy, and it is uphill, but really not that hard. I didn't climb around much once 106Q ended. About halfway up 106Q there is a .2 mile spur (I think it is 106R) that runs up to the base of the butte. You could for sure climb up quite a ways on the rocks there, not that I am recommending it.

On the way up, you are looking at the colorful butte, and on the way down you are looking at a panoramic landscape that goes on forever. It may not be the most spectacular scenery in the area, but it's still excellent.

Totally amazing

Super easy, epic views! No dogs allowed. To those afraid of heights: this may test you.

Not really a hike but absolutely worth the views

Nice to see! We made this a pit stop on our drive from Flagstaff to Zion. We had a 10:30 am antelope canyon tour so stopped by here before. It was cool to see but not the best lighting yet at 8:30 in the morning. It’s a quick pit stop. Spent about 35 min here. Came back after our tour finished at noon because we weren’t in a hurry to get to Zion. Lighting was much better. Would recommend to see if you’re in the area. Not something I would go out of my way for though.

My wife and I did this hike November 6, 2018. We were surprised, after walking a bit to find a couple nice slot canyons. Once we arrived at the confluence, we turned left on Buckskin for approx mile. It was pretty cool with tall slots. we then turned around and walked the other way until we hit water

Highly recommend this trail. Getting isn't bad, but about 8 miles off of 89.

Short hike with a beautifully groomed trail. Waterfall was dead when we passed through but totally worth the hike!

Oh heck yes!! This was on my bucket list and worth every single penny!

Crowded but worth it.

Go for sunrise! View is amazing, tourists are not.

Just returned from visiting one of most photographed canyon
It should be on Bucket list of every body

Fun stop at sunrise. Trail is sandy and descends to the viewpoint and is great to fly down. Canyon rim will be filled with photographers, but plenty of room to wander. Fairly flat areas to just run free and explore on the red rock await at the end of trail.

Amazing! Would do it again and highly recommend it to anyone. Easy hike/walk for all.

Showed up for sunrise. No disappointment here. If in the area definitely worth the stop!

Friendly guide and even took time to take our pictures in the canyon. Amazing to see how water can shape the sandstone into interesting shapes and passages. There were 15 in our group. Paid about 100 dollars for the both of us.

There are very few times in my life that I have seen something that has given me goosebumps the first time I laid eyes on it ... Horseshoe Bend was one of them.

Maybe it was because of how dark it was (we arrived for sunrise) or because of the vastness of the canyon and how perfectly shaped the horseshoe was, but its pure and utter natural beauty almost brought tears to my eyes.

We got up around 5 am on 10/16 after camping about a mile or two down the road from the Wahweap Overlook. After packing up our tent and heading to the trailhead, we arrived at the parking lot around 5:45 am. This was just in time to snag a perfect spot on the rocks overlooking the bend, only having to share it with one other photographer. In total, we probably shared the view with 15 other people, but I'll take that every day over the swarm of tourists that congregated at the parking lot at noon the day prior.

The "hike" itself is just a short walk up and down a small hill. It was 100 percent worthwhile to get up early to catch the majesty of this scenic viewpoint at its most perfect hour. I don't doubt that sunset here is also impeccable, but I'd rather do without the crowds.

Extremely touristy and must pay to get in. Would have loved to see it but the line was so long to get in (on a Thursday in October) and traffic was at a standstill. I’m sure it’s beautiful but this was not what I would call a trail or hike, more like a paid line you walk thru.

Nice place for sunset if you are camping there

Nice picnic area. I don't know if I would call this a hike...

Worth the stop

If you are in the area, you have to do this! But I wouldn't make a huge detour for it. It's mostly just a place to take a picture (which you've seen thousands of times) with many...many tourists

Epic overlooks!

It's a bit of a long drive for a short hike if the connecting Buckskin Gulch is full of water. Requires a $6 fee. Walk through wash to very cool slot canyon. Very easy except for an 8 foot drop which isn't the easiest to complete alone. Most people hike this Wire Pass trail which is short to get to Buckskin Gulch to hike downstream. I believe the Gulch many times requires bringing shoes good for trouncing through ankle deep, stagnant water. great views, but extremely busy. We went early and were able to beat the crowds a bit. I'd recommend going at sunrise instead of sunset to avoid glares in photos.
