Nice, easy hike with pretty meadow and woodsy views. Quiet and lovely in the late afternoon.

Beautiful hike with kids. Blackberries everywhere!

Great place to take the dogs for a walk/swim. Easy walk around the reservoir.

Beautiful beach walk - lots of grassy dunes and once past the beach goers feels remote. Can be very windy and foggy.

Nice leisure hike with mild elevation. Saw a deer in the bush, too!

Great for families. Mostly flat, not difficult at all but probably wouldn’t bring a stroller for this trail. Babywearing worked for us!

Easy way to see where the Bay meets Bodega Harbor

Great easy trail for the whole family, young and old (our youngest was 9 and it was easy for her). Great activity to do with young kids when in Sonoma

Despite people saying this trail was well-marked, I somehow managed to wander off of it several times, LOL. It’s a lovely walk, with views of the ocean and the bay in every direction. Not too crowded on a weekday.

We checked out the Bodega Head trail today. When we arrived we drove a little bit further until we hit a parking lot. There were quite a few people as it was a weekend. There are some picnic tables off to the right as you drive in. We hung out and had some lunch. Then we headed across the parking lot to hit the trail. Stopping at the bathrooms they really stunk up the area. We were happy to be on the trail and get some fresh air. We took the side of the trail that went up along the cliffs. There were so many beautiful views of the coastline! We really enjoyed our hike. We didn’t make it all the way around as we got off trail a little bit. There is a really cool island off the coast and we could hear all the seals going yapping! Super cool! Lots of cool areas for drone.

All in all this is a great family friendly hike. Bring your kids and your dogs and pack a lunch. Beach access requires that you trek down to it so this isn’t the most family friendly beach but the cliff side trails are this trails highlight! We will be back again!

Nice little neighborhood trail

It was foggy, but still beautiful. There were so many wildflowers, and because it was early in the morning it wasn’t super busy. Easy to get and a nice easy walk.

I hit this trail up nearly every time I’m out at Bodega Head. There are ocean views for days when the fog burns off. The trail is super easy, perfect for a relaxing walk/hike to soak up the area’s natural beauty.

This was a lovely, quiet walking trail. It would be great for children. I went about a week ago and we were walking through tunnels of blackberries. They were covered in little purple flowers. I'd love to do this trail again when the blackberries are ripe.

Easy, beautiful, peaceful. As for all good photo ops, go early or late.

Nice, fun hike. It was a little busy but it was fun and well marked. We found a way to scramble down to a little isolated beach that was so great. Not a person in site. Get there early for a decent parking spot before the area fills up.

Lots of great photo opportunities, easy to follow trail, and wasn't crowded at all mid-week.

Picturesque and breathtaking views of the Pacific with beautiful wildflowers that populate this glorious walk along the well marked and easy trail. Do not skip this hidden gem as you travel along Hwy 1.

Relatively easy hike. Even the 5year old handled it, albeit with some whining. The back end of the lake is by far the prettiest.
