One of the most stunning hikes I’ve been on, make sure to wear sunscreen and charge your phone to be ready for some breath-taking pics.
Moderate.
gets a little confusing half way
Nice and pretty level. First hike for my 7yo. Shame about the fence around everything.
Not too many sunset views
Nice trail good condition many folks but all with masks.
Challenging but definitely due-able especially if you have other people with you. Did this trail my first time last year and would recommend to wake up early to watch the sunset at Mt. Hollywood
Dogs not allowed in the lake Hollywood loop, but if you stay left you can hike a few miles on the outer rim of the reservoir.
Easy and fun! Great view of Hollywood Sign! The lake is beautiful! This is a place where you find less tourists and more locals. 7am-8am parking will be easy. 8am-9am parking will be ok. After 9am good luck.
Nice easy trail best to do at low tide so you do not have to crawl over the rocks easy for kids and families
Flat easy path for beginners. Nice views of Lake Hollywood, The Hollywood Sign, and Hollywood itself. Good for biking as well.
Mild incline, scenic shoreline, modest crowd. Kayak rentals/tours available at the end of trail near cave
Parking - If you follow the directions from the app you end up on a long hill where you’ll need to parallel park. It can be tricky finding a spot on the weekend. Don’t leave anything in the car, lots of cars with broken windows. Theives suck. Trail - The trail itself is a loop around the reservoir, its mostly paved but pretty uneven. You don’t really need hiking shoes, just running shoes is fine. At the midpoint you get to cross the reservoir and can take some cool pics. Theres lots of trees so theres some shade. People - most people were wearing masks and really chill. Just watch out for the few douches that wont move out of the way when you have nowhere to go. I don’t get some people.
Not much of a trail. Mostly just beach and then up on road. Very beautiful though.
Nice walk on paved path with lots of space and a good amount of shade! Saw lots of families on bikes and people of all skill levels enjoying the beautiful day! Parallel parking down slope between a Tesla and BMW got my adrenaline pumping, for sure...
Great walk!
Nice views, easy trail. Good for dogs but please bring water and a bowl! They will appreciate it. Today is 57 degrees and sunny but feels a lot warmer. No shade on the trail.
Flat, easy to walk to beach. Shorter than I expected.
Nice walk with cool views.
Love it
