Easy, great views without much effort. It is a busy spot.

I loved this hike! We looked at both falls. Super fun to be able to walk behind both and see the backside of water. There was frost, so it was a little slippery in areas, but manageable.

Switchback incline was tough. But a break here and there and we were fine. Bathrooms were good. Cafe was perfect as we were cold and hungry.

Absolutely breathtaking views and amazing perspective of the falls. A lot of falls have walkways behind the falls. Definitely one of my favorite hikes of all time!

Absolutely beautiful. I went with my husband & daughter in the summer. Be sure to take plenty of water. I'm going again with a friend in October. should be pretty in Fall. Highly recommend it.

Nice loop hike with manageable elevation gain. We started at the South Falls trailhead and went counterclockwise, which I would recommend. The first part of the Rim Trail runs next to the road, so we were glad to get that out of the way first.
We didn’t know about the trail running event this weekend, which meant a full parking lot and lots of muddy, cold people. We were expecting a lot of other people, but not that many. We almost turned around, but are glad we didn’t. Fortunately most of the runners had finished by the time we hit the trail.
It was a cloudy day, but the falls are still amazing.

Great hike you can do in different loops depending on how much time and effort you can make. 1 mile, 2.6 miles, 5 miles, etc. we did the 2.6 mile loop and it was beautiful. We saw 2 falls

One of the most beautiful sights to see in Oregon.

Awesome day 10/28/28....a bit of rain filled the streams and falls were amazing.

Great fall color in the forest. I did it counter clockwise so it was an easy walk with less crowds.

Breathtaking views! Pretty crowded, especially the first few waterfalls (lots of people stopping for photos), but the farther you go, the less people there are. You can walk behind a couple of the waterfalls, and those areas usually have large puddles of water and can be pretty muddy so heads up! I highly recommend this hike, it's drop-dead gorgeous!

Awesome hike, I’ve hiked it three times. Amazing falls.

Did this hike on Friday morning. Got there 10 minutes before 8am right when they opened the gate. Glad I got there early as by the time I finished the loop it was there was a lot of people going in. Beautiful hike!

Lovely hike on easy trails. There are a couple beautiful falls for a shorter hike.

Very beautiful with fall colors. Falls were alittle weak compared to other times visited, yet just as beautiful and worth the drive!!

This hike was pretty crowded on an October day. It starts out as paved, but turns into a rocky and dirt trail shortly into the start. It can be pretty slippery at times. It’s very beautiful and you get to go behind waterfalls.

Quite easy. lovely scenery. very busy on a Sunday around noon.

Nice easy terrain. I did this one with my 9 and 10 year olds in October. Old growth for the first half, conference center halfway through the loop provided a nice easy break/restroom stop. More open brush for the second half.

START WITH THE RIM TRAIL if you are doing the 3-mile loop. That way you save the amazing views and waterfall experience to perk you up when you’re getting tired. Going the other way would be very anticlimactic. IF YOU ARE JUST DOING A QUICK OUT AND BACK and not doing the full loop, start with the north falls trail. Be warned—there are a good number of stone stairs from the trailhead to the north falls, and there is no handrail, so knees and hips are at their mercy. The trail CAN BE SLIPPERY and narrow and has a steep drop off in many places. If you have a fear of dogs, be aware that many people bring dogs, and there is not a lot of room to pass.

This is an amazing canyon that feels like an ancient jungle in places. We were lucky enough to see some fall leaves in early October.

PROS: Fairly easy hike; magical scenery; trail goes behind a waterfall; lots of wildlife that’s not particularly afraid of people.

CONS: Lots of foot traffic; lots of car traffic just a few feet away in places; lots of stairs at one end; slippery, narrow trail in places.

Went during the week and there were still a fair amount of people on the trail in the morning, but didn’t feel overcrowded. Winter Falls is currently dry and Double Falls is barely a trickle. Overall beautiful fall colors and scenery.

Such a beautiful hike. I live close by, so I did it in a few sections first. Took my sisters with me once. Then took my husband and we did the full loop last Sunday. He had not been there before. He loved it too! Lots of people later in the day, but most are very friendly.

Beautiful and not too hard.

Love it.

Fantastic hike with one amazing waterfall after another!

Exquisite and idyllic!

This was an easy hike with gorgeous waterfalls. It can get crowded, especially at the falls that are less than a mile from the trailhead, but the farther away from the trailhead I got the less people I saw.

Great hike! Very beautiful, but very long!
