Nothing special for hiking, it seemed better for mountain bikers. Nice workout, I took my time. Trail marked differently than All Trails map.
Beautiful trail with a great view at the top. Well worth it!
great views at the top
I got lost at the top of the loop because I wasn’t paying attention. This is two trails that are connected at the top. The trail itself is every easy and you can probably push a wheel chair through the whole thing to be honest.
Good hike. I would recommend spring or cooler temps. Summer weather would be waay too hot for this trail
Nice trail, little longer than the app says
Great trail for spring or fall. Probably way too hot during Redding summers. The views at the top are beautiful!
So hot! Wasn’t prepared for the heat, but lovely day.
Totally beautiful with areas I can hang out forever!
Beautiful views. Great weather. It took 2 hours for a quick up and down with pictures along the way. It would be best with 4 hours to rest at the peak.
Great quick hike for families. It’s entirely uphill to the falls, but what goes up must come down.
Fairly easy to moderate trail. Only because it is uphill there and downhill the whole way back. It’s actually 1.7 miles to the falls and there is 3 drops to the waterfall. Unfortunately part of the trail is closed, but that’s after you get to Whiskeytown Falls. It was beautiful, no snow, fairly shaded on the trail, and has MANY benches throughout the trail to take a rest
Peaceful
Second time
Beautiful day. Perfect trail for getting back into hiking.
Walked along the creek all the way to the fall, a little bit elevation, I would rate as moderate, but the fall is absolutely beautiful, it’s worth it. No snow on the road anymore.
Perfect weather and trail condition!
As expected! :)
Good trail for those who just want to get outdoors but want more of a light stroll. Is a good starting point for family hikes with children.
Still some snow on trail. Prob Icy first thing in morning, but not crowded today
The mining infrastructure isn’t really that much but the trail itself is nice. Well marked and easy enough to follow. I think it might be a little more interesting post-fire.
