Came here on a weekday when we could park at the trailhead. It's a short but steep hike up to the top. The views were still amazing despite some of the haziness from the nearby fires. Definitely plan to come back when the sky clears and to go to stargazing.

Beautiful short hike through the Sequoia’s. Nothing difficult about this hike at all but still able to get up close to these amazing trees!

This place is beautiful and peaceful! It starts off at a waterfall. Looks a little to dangerous to get in. There are lots of nats and mosquitos since you’re walking along a pretty little river but, my bug spray from Walmart worked just fine. I fell in love with the meadow , there’s a wood walkway that takes you through it. We recorded 6.8 miles because we walked the whole thing and went around a extra loop at the end(by accident). My son is 9, it was his first hike and he did very well! This place is definitely a must see. (Also someone stole my go-pro from the bridge please return it

Short walk to waterfall, easy to do and some nice views.

The views are spectacular and second to none. The parking is limited. The crowds are dangerously overwhelming. Be extra careful when going up there.

The reason this hike only gets 4 stars is the lack supervision from park rangers. I saw a lot of people careless on trail that doesn't give second chances.

A short walk to a pretty waterfall. Nothing to go out of your way for but worth stopping if you happen to be driving by. I'm sure we would have been more impressed if not for the fact that we had just finished the stunning Rae Lakes hike, which made everything else pale in comparison.

Such a beautiful hike surrounded by towering granite walls and the sound of the river accompanying us along the way. Very easy walk although we recorded 4.9 miles and 387 ft of elevation. A minor negative were the gnats that seemed immune to bug spray. Highly recommend this hike that all fitness levels can enjoy. 8/4/2018

we did this with a small modification, going from Zumwalt Meadows trailhead to roaring river falls. luckily we had someone that was willing to drive the car back to the Roaring River Falls Trail head and meet us at the falls. from RRF trail head the trail is paved and a gentle incline, super easy.

the longer walk (1.8 mi) from Zumwalt Meadows at points we had to stop to make sure we were still on the trail. this was still an easy hike. Stroll along the Kings River, amazing views of the canyon walls. we were lucky enough to see a bear along the lightly trafficed trail. I would do this again, especially in the spring when the river and falls are really Roaring.

Would probably just be a quick stop for most, but is definitely worth it. A couple years back a group of me and my friends decided to hike to the back of the falls. There's no trail, we just followed the river back, but there's a natural bridge back there and has a lot of beautiful cascades and falls! Do not attempt unless you are good at climbing/swimming/navigating!!

So easy and so spectacular! Wildlife is very present here so be careful. Definitely a must see when the sun is rising or setting though.

beautiful views at the top and an easy and pleasant climb to get there. my babushka and I enjoyed it thoroughly and only encountered 2 other people on the trail

Not really a hike but the view is breathtaking

Short climb up to the top for views of the Sierra's and the Valley floor. Gets crowded at sunset. Pro Tip: Go right after the sun goes down - everyone leaves, you still get soft light and usually you have the top of yourself to view the city lights below and stars above. On a full moon, the mountain range behind you really light up!

Grateful to those who crafted this amazing feat with stairs, bars, etc. so that generations can climb and enjoy the beautiful views! A definite must if you're in the Sequioa Forest!

Nice trail. Leads to Hazelwood trail and more rock trail.

Nice, short hike. The views are awesome.

Beautiful and easy walk around a large meadow. We saw four deer in a mile and a half walk. Although there are masses of people brought in via shuttle buses, the trail was surprisingly empty. Any visit to Sequoia should include this trail. It can be easily completed by all ages and skill levels.

Nice and quick hike up with some beautiful views at the top.

Perfect for our young kids. We took our stroller and found no problems navigating it on the trail. Plenty of spots for our 2 year old to climb on rocks and explore.

The views are just stunning. And the trail is well supported with handrails and rock walls so it’s doable even for someone like myself who’s not great with heights. I’d suggest doing it in the early evening, to avoid the worst of the crowds. We were there about 6pm on a weekday during late June and there were still lots of people on the trail, but not too many.

The most peaceful and magical walk I’ve ever done. Super easy and just breathtaking. If you love giant trees and meadows, you’ll love this walk.

easy and beautiful!! lots of mosquitos around sun set!! Bring mosquito spray cause we got ate up! Flat hike around the Meadow... great for kids and elderly.

Nice bit of engineering to create a path to the top. But views are meh!

Simply wonderful short walk. Lots of big trees including a fallen giant you can climb atop near the accessible parking lot.

Yesterday, I was standing about 50 ft from Mckinley tree when a 100 ft juvenile sequoia fell on the trail where I was taking a picture. Managed to sprint out of the way, but have wood dust in every nook and cranny! What a spectacle! Will beat any bear sighting I guarantee!

A little heavy breathing for someone who doesn’t get to hike as often as I’d like. So worth the effort to the top! Despite the height, felt safe with the railing and design of steps with grooves in places for better traction. A little narrow in spots, so need to let groups by when ascending or descending. Created good opportunities to catch your breath though.
