Beautiful views all the way up as the sun rises through the early morning. The views from the top offer long distance vistas as well as much closer interesting geological shapes. The volume of trees growing in the shaded canyon to the east of the very top trail was an interesting surprise.

Recommend you do the loop in anti clockwise direction going down the Navajo trail.

Beautiful trail with open, unobstructed views. Trail well maintained even with heavy foot traffic .

Came here on Friday the 13th. Amazing views before descending down the switchbacks. Went from sunset point to Navajo loop and connected to queens garden. Wall Street side was closed as of the 13th.

Start before sunrise for amazing views.

Short easy walk but worth the stop, fantastic cliff dwellings.

Nice hike, some slight up hill grades. Make sure that you continue up the rim trail for really nice views of the volcano bowl and surrounding countryside.

Great trail with some great views and moderate climbing. Some very cool inscriptions which provide historical perspectives. Would recommend a lunch on top and possibly stopping at el Calderon as well.

Great hike many many great views. Definitely worth the drive. Temperature throughout the day was perfect.

amazing hike with so many great views of the hoodoos. Did this hike with our 6 year old and 13 year old and they managed very well. Definetly a must return hike for us.

This was a fun trail but busy since it was so close to the lodge. I walked this trail with my family and my 8.5 year old daughter had no trouble. It was really cool to be hiking in the canyon and seeing the hoodoos up close. Definitely agree on doing this trail counter-clockwise since the climb out wasn’t too difficult.

Nice view to have a close look at the hoodoos. The temperature is perfect during Spring Break. Cannot imagine how hot it can be during summer time.

Kristen and I went to top and back in under 4 hours. I agree it is more like a 9 mike hike. Trail is perfectly marked. Saw deer on hillside above us. One super windy section near the Guadalupe campground. Great hike. Great view.

Spectacular hike with some truly stunning views. I brought my kids (12, 10, and 8) down the Queen's Garden Trail, and back up the Two Towers. Snow was present at the higher end of the park, but everything was dry where we were. Trail was very crowded, which was the only drawback. They've also ran the trail through several man-made tunnels, which my kids loved. I'm excited to come back and try Peek a Boo loop and Wall Street (Wall was still closed for the winter as of early April, but I heard something about a rock slide there as well).

My kids could do this hike, although the uphill was a little rough on them. I think most adults or relatively energetic youth could do it. Two towers is steep but no dropoffs, while the Queen's Garden side is less steep but has sheer drops on some parts of the trail.

Beautiful but strenuous trail.
The last 500 feet is rocky with a fair amount of scree. I fell at the top when my boot caught the edge of a rock. Five miles of hiking, 3000 ft of elevation and sixty mile trip to Carlsbad ER who, I might add, were very caring and did a great job stitching me up.
Everyone at the summit agreed and compared GPS’s, this is a 10 mile hike not 8.8, 9.2... that trail signs and books claim.

Nice easy walk/hike. Beautiful views of the surrounding areas. Wish I would've packed a lunch so I could've had lunch at the very top. The weather was a little hot but still perfect. I highly recommend this stop. Great visitor center and mini gift shop. Everyone working was very helpful.

This might be my new favorite hike. Views and hike are just spectacular.

It was the best 3 Miles I have ever walked

This was a difficult hike but worth the view at the top! It is up hill most of the way there, with some flat breaks. Don’t be fooled by all the false peaks, we kept thinking we were close to the top and then we would see a higher peak.

Nice easy hike. Yes a little rough trail and little up hill but pretty easy. Some unique views of caves and the volcano cone.

Not a hike, obviously, but very cool - good family fun

Nice hike, some incline, but the hoodoos were nice to look at. The ranger recommend us to go down navojo and come up sunrise for an easier hike.

I was able to pull it off took all day literally like 10 hrs but I wanted to enjoy it and I’m disabled. So if I’m able to do it surly most can

Gorgeous, great workout!

It’s a great hike great views!

great hike that puts you directly in the hoodoos.

Majestic views throughout the trail. Truly unique canyon.

Extremely fun trail which offers great views of the canyon. Being down within the hoodoos is a spectacular feeling. I would recommend the counter-clockwise direction as it has a more gradual ascent that clockwise. I highly recommend this trail.

This trail was very well maintained and marked. The views were very nice especially about a third of the way up. But the best view was at the top. We were in no rush to come down.
