Great first hike! Gorgeous!!!

Easy hike to do with the family. Had alot of fun crossing the creek even though is was still a bit too chilly to go swimming. Got our legs wet but dried fairly quickly while walking. Definitely had more fun exploring off main trails. You will see plenty of smaller trails, especially leading to the creek. Beautiful views of the red rocks from just about everywhere in the park.

Great first real off road adventure super fun trail and spectacular views, devils staircase super fun but not easy.

GREAT HIKE!! Highly recommend this hike. The 360° views were great. Family friendly and well marked. Suggest hiking to the summit.

Very scenic, easy and not crowded if you go in the evening. Wrapped up hike right before sunset.

30 minutes to the top with my 9 year old daughter. Spent 30-40 minutes at the top taking in the views.

Takes your breath away early on and keeps you excited. There are a few scrambles so I wouldn't recommend doing it while holding a toddler.. but we saw someone doing just that and they seemed OK.

Great hike.

Walked in from Aerie and enjoyed the switchback trail to the top of Doe Mountain. Walked the perimeter, enjoying the great views from the top. Would recommend this trail to most people who enjoy a great hike with just a bit of a challenge. My wife's Fitbit clocked it at just over 5.5 miles.

It was pretty good. Nothing too crazy. It’s close to a vortex as well.

Beautiful views! Hike itself was not too hard, but it was easy to get lost. Brought the whole fam, kids ages 10.11, 15. We had fun!

I like others also consider this closer to moderate. If you throw in the Tabletop Trail side trail then moderate for sure.

Biggest obstacle is parking. I use the Bandit Trail which gives a little more elevation as well as some other parking options that only locals seem to know about. There are 4-5 spaces in the parking lot at Tom Lawler Plumbing.

A very scenic trail, probably the most scenic in all of Sedona. I’ve done it about 5-6 times over the years. Great views of Cathedral Rock on the southeast side. Even better views if you opt to add a mile to your hike by taking the Tabletop Trail.

The trail itself isn’t that bad in terms of foot traffic. Just get there early for parking.

Beautiful hike and easy to get to from Sedona as it is in a neighborhood just 5 minutes from the main artery through town. We did Teatime to Coffeepot but also did the Sugarloaf loop and summit which was steep but not too strenuous and the 360 view from the top was amazing. Getting back down Sugarloaf and catching teatime and working our way up to Coffeepot was not too hard using this map but it is easy to get off path. Views of the surroundings are incredible. We did a picnic lunch on Coffeepot and then hiked back down pretty easily. Not a lot of shade so start early or on days not too hot

this is not an easy trail. moderate for sure. 3.6+ miles around the airport hill. very rocking and uneven footing. long up and down grade sections. on a 80° day bring plenty of water. absolutely great views of cathedral rock, bell rock, the souther landscape and the northern landscape. best place to park is half way up the road below the scenic lookout but there are only about 12 spaces. if you park up at the scenic viewing lot you must walk 1/2mi down and back to the trailhead. in addition the short peak trail at the begining is a sideline not to miss!

Our family of five (2 adults, ages 12,7,9) just finished hiking this trail. It was a great experience and we would definitely do it again! It took around an hour 1/2 total and was so beautiful. It wasn’t too difficult, but was a little of a challenge. I would recommend bringing water and sunscreen. Enjoy your hike!

Great hike, meanders through greenery with amazing views at every turn! We continued all the way up to Chicken Point. Definitely great for families, all ages. Good shoes and lots of water was helpful. Parking was tight and it was fairly busy during spring break. Glad we did this and would do it again! The trail connects with the Broken Arrow trail.

Out and back trail. The scenery is special and felt like I was right up near the mountains. Very limited wildlife...maybe that's good in a desert! Trail is in very good condition and only slippery in a few spots. That's important to this 54 yr old overweight guy who is looking for a safe experience. At times, I felt I was in someone's back yard. Busy parking lot but we were the only ones on the trail.

Easier short trail that was well marked. Path to summit was was wide and gradual. No need for hands and kids can easily enjoy but careful at the top with young children. Great views of where we were staying for the week and some of the other trails we hiked to the west. (Andante and Chimney Rock) Nobody out at 7am but by the time we were leaving at 8 it was picking up. Would also be a great evening hike to view better colors in uptown Sedona.

Super sweet trail. Great 360 degree views.

Great views - yet there are no markings or signs for the loop - use the gps on the app to monitor otherwise you will miss the loop.

Freakin awesome hike for kids and families
We started at the cathedral rock parking lot and cut off a lot of the initial mileage of the hike
But the oasis we found at the end point (oak creek) was so fun and relaxing - highly recommend

Easy hike, well marked with 360° views.

This trail has nice views of Sedona and surrounding rock formations. All views have buildings, roadways, and traffic. However it is not an easy trail trail but Moderate. There is lots of rocks in trail, ups & downs, requiring attention to footing, proper sturdy footware, plenty of water, etc. I do not think it is good for mountain bikes unless your a pro rock hopper. Trail is well used so you will not be alone or secluded.

My family really loved it...easy switchback well-worn paths-not too strenuous and plenty of space to pause along the way up. The real treat is the view from the top- once you reach the top, it’s happy walking along the edge and magnificent views in all directions. My family enjoyed the view, the exploring, and making cairns galore—its a relatively short hike up and down, but we stretched it much longer by having such a great time at the top. Bring a lunch/sunscreen and enjoy it up there!!!

My kids 5 and 8 loved it. Well worth the trip

This trail was so extra!!! With the scenery and the hiking atop the boulder! Wow! The view from atop the boulder is breath taking! So many photo opportunities. As I’ve only been on 5 hikes now on moderately popular hiking trails... the crowds did not bother me. I think the only thing that bothers me on hikes is when you’re friendly and say hello and it’s not reciprocated... This hike does require a parking pass that can be purchased with a CC at the trailhead. Parking is limited so arrive early to snag a spot. There is one vault (no-flush) toilet at the trailhead.

Fun trail to do with kids!! Great views when u get to the top! Parking was a bit crowded mid- afternoon. Requires parking pass. Bathroom at the parking lot.

Trail head parking was overflowing but went to top and paid $3 to park and hiked down to trailhead on a trail which adds about a mile to this hike. Great views all around, south side of trail more rigorous then north side, suggest starting the hike on south side. Was great half day hike that has great views all the way around.

Really fun, quick hike with a great payoff! Recommended route for the loop is counterclockwise.

Great trail

Great trail.

This was our first hike in Sedona. So beautiful! It took us two hours to go to the end of the trail, mostly because we had to stop to take pictures. The way down was much faster. Great morning hike. We got there by 8:30 and there were still empty parking spots.
