I went with a group of 20-32 yr olds I am 55. Thank goodness I have been training in yoga and Pilates . This hike was challenging . Uneven stepping along the entire trail with the last 30 min , a constant climb up . I feel this trail was more than just moderate . We had a blast ! My group expressed how scared they were at the end when we got back to the van . I thought everyone was cool while hiking so ,I was also . The less you know the better . . I did get a photo of me out on devils bridge . Some of our group did also but not all. But they finished the hike and were thrilled in the end . SUCCESS!!

Such a fun hike to the top!

Beautiful hike! Amazing views

This hike is very challenging but well worth it to see the spectacular views! Not meant for shoes that have no grip.

Beautiful views at the end.. Jeep traffic the first mile was unattractive.

Easy hike around the airport perimeter. Your up on the Mesa, every turn offers a great view of the surroundings. I'd reccomend it just for picture opportunities.

Very nice day hike, beautiful views!

Beautiful hike! Recommend hiking boots not sneakers. Several areas of crossing water on rocks and sometimes had to step in water to cross. Not dangerous, just wouldn’t think anyone would want wet sneakers. The whole trail has gorgeous views.

Beautiful views from the bridge, other than that nothing too wondrous on your way up.

Great trail. Stay off the road. Ha! My recoding was cut off. I should have downloaded the map lol

There is one part where it's bad, but it's the only place that it is that bad. Otherwise I was not scrambling.

Nice fairly easy hike with some uphill, this hike is mostly shaded but not completely so bring a hat and sunscreen. If you are wanting to go to the Arches keep an eye out for a trial that will ver off to the right, it is not marked and VERY EASY TO MISS!

Remember to respect the environment and leave no trace.

This trail gets 5 stars because the views along the way and the view at the top is totally worth it - but it is definitely a difficult trail. I would consider it more rock-climbing as there are multiple places where I was crawling on my hands/knees. I took my 60 pound boxer and had to lift him up/down in a couple spots. Even if you're in shape, the elevation changes so quickly it gets hard to breathe - my suggestion is take a couple breaks along on the way up and enjoy the views!

The walk back to the actual climb is long, over a mile itself. If you have a 4x4 you can drive all the way back, otherwise you’re walking the first leg. The actual climb itself is narrow and daunting in some areas but you aren’t crawling up a rock. The view at the bridge is great!

11/10/2018 Trail was nice, however, if you follow the All Trail map the path turns on a foot path that is not maintained. This was not mentioned in the reviews . Very doable easy to moderate trail and we would do it again

Very nice and easy trail, however, it is a very heavy trafficked trail. Views on one side are great, other side not so much. Parking can be difficult at the trail head because of the amount of people.

We came to devils bridge via Chuckwagon trail which is delightfully easy and beautiful. Devil's bridge was incredible and totally worth the journey to the top where everyone helps each other get that perfect pic. 16km for the total trip.

Awesome hike up...views along the way are fantastic. We came in via Yavapai trail head and hiked Slim Shady to Templeton to get to bottom of Cathedral Rock Trail. We didn't do the Templeton loop and just backtracked so round trip it was 11km for the whole trip. Slim Shady and Templeton were easy and very few people.

Fantastic trail. Wife thought because distance was short it would be easy. Be prepared!

Great hike, go early to avoid the heat. Amazing views once you reach the ‘bridge’. Could be a bit challenging to climb for some

Great hike but parking options are limited. Parking lot was full before 9am on Sunday.

Easy trail to a lookout. In November we went at 6 am and the colors were really good as the sun hit the red rocks at about 7 am glad we waited for the sun to rise over the mountains and hit the red rocks to the west! Beautiful!!!

Completed this hike back in October and it is truly magnificent.

I love Boynton Canyon - beautiful red rocks and amazing positive energy throughout!

I had read previously about the parking and crowd. So we were the first to get there at the Long Canyon parking area just before sunrise. That turned out to be a great decision because we get to see the sunrise between the rock formations. The trail was rocky & offered much interest through a creekbed & fantastic vista points. Climbing up to the bridge and bridge itself were highlight for sure. Pay attention to where the trail intersects the wide jeep road so when you return from the bridge, you don't miss the trail. Good to have GPS and map since this was our 1st time there, and some parts on the rocky trail was not a clear trail to follow which way to go so early, without other people to follow.

Went there 2 days ago and loved it. We had rented a jeep, and it was worth it to drive almost 1 mile in and then hiked the rest. Came across a couple from Florida who walked the entire way, and the happily joined us in the jeep for the last park of the trail down. Lucky for them because it became very windy and dusty as we finished the trip.

Be daring and walk out on the arch (it looks worse then it is). We took pictures and had a good time with strangers we had never met.
