Great views! There is a large network of trails in this area and numerous trails that link up to this trail. Pay attention to your direction as you can easily start walking on another trail and not realize it. They are all great trails so can’t really go wrong, but you may end up on a longer hike than you initially planned on.
Great views and landscapes along the way! Love this trail!

One of the best routes you can hike in Sedona! You are at eye-level with all of the Red Rock awesomeness, not canyon-bottom with views obscured, not so high on a Mesa you can't savor the love. Easy enough distance you can knock this out in a short time.

Great hike! Cross the creek to continue the hike..and to the right. Take your shoes off!

Fun, easy nice views

Great views from this high up! Nice little hike.

October 18- we hiked this trail in the afternoon. It had stunning views throughout. Tons of plants and animals to observe. It took us 1.5 hours. We parked at the trailhead since it had just stopped raining- but it can get pretty crowded. The highlight was listening to coyotes in the distance.

Trail was a nice afternoon hike, but I wouldn’t say it was Moderate. I would categorize as Easy.
You can make the hike longer and more intense by climbing the Summit. The trail for the summit it on the back side.

Great views and the end provides a great place to relax and enjoy for a while. Easy elevation gain and loss. A very enjoyable stroll through beautiful Oak Creek.

Great hike with gorgeous views and not a ton of foot traffic, thankfully. At times, we felt like the only people around.

Great trail. Great views and far enough from town to be less crowded. Best hike in Sedona so far.

No way this trail should be classed as easy. Unless you stop to look out, your eyes will be fixed on the trail to figure out where to step next. You keep the same view for half the hike, then you are looking out over homes and a noisy factory. Lots of rocks and constant monotonous elevation changes make this a hard trail. NFS rates this as a difficult hike. Bikers are suppose to yield to hikers but they don’t.

If you have to park at top airport fee lot then it’s an extra 1.2 miles. This description doesn’t really indicate the parking differences.

Great views and a nice variety of terrain

Easy hike around the airport perimeter. Your up on the Mesa, every turn offers a great view of the surroundings. I'd reccomend it just for picture opportunities.

Very nice and easy trail, however, it is a very heavy trafficked trail. Views on one side are great, other side not so much. Parking can be difficult at the trail head because of the amount of people.

Beautiful not crowded!

Easy trail to a lookout. In November we went at 6 am and the colors were really good as the sun hit the red rocks at about 7 am glad we waited for the sun to rise over the mountains and hit the red rocks to the west! Beautiful!!!

Amazing views but long and tiring hike when the sun is beating down. You get no relief from the sun for over half of the hike. Then when you think you are done, you keep climbing and hoping to get to the trail head. If you are lucky enough to get a parking spot at the actual trailhead, that is great. But if you have to park at the airport lot, the last .6 is not fun! But it was an awesome hike and I would do it again.

My wife and I took our 4 year old son on this hike. While it's not the most scenic trail, we were stoked that our little one finished the loop like a boss. Nice easy hike, especially if you have little kids with you.

I actually got lost but the hike was great!

A neat trail that is fairly scenic, but not overly so. You get a bit of canyon views and canyon river and not overly crowded like some trails / parking in Sedona.

The trail is easy side of moderate with no steep portions. Great views along the way. Sun and shade. Some noise from 4×4 road. Mostly had trail all to ourselves.

Start at Thompson's trail head and go  counter-clockwise. Nice views for most of the hike. Note....easy to miss return leg, take Sink Hole to Jordan to Cibola  connection for shortest return to trailhead. Shade and sun. We had trail mostly to ourselves.

Beautiful scenery. This trail took longer to hike than anticipated as several sections of the trail were somewhat washed out due to recent heavy rains. I would rate this trail as moderate rather than easy.

Would do this many times over. Relaxing and a mild workout all at the same time with amazing views and not too crowded.

Stunning sunset hike. But watch your step and bring plenty of water!

We loved this Trail! Just enough difficulty to make it challenging and a great reward at the end when you get to Oak Creek. The views are spectacular. highly recommend this hike for someone looking for about a 2-hour hike.

Take lots of water on hot days, careful to follow trails, aren’t marked well. We. were lost for some time! Got off trail and ended up going the wrong way! Lovely views of beautiful Sedona

This would be a great hike if it wasn't for the ATV and Jeep road noise. We hike in the area as a way of getting away from city noise and enjoying the serenity of nature. I agree the views are spectacular and the hiking trail has some shade along a mostly dried up stream (still nice to see the stream bed) but with so many other trails in the area that get you away from noise and are equally spectacular, I would suggest another trail.
