Loved this hike! Views were stunning along the entire trail! pretty steep incline the whole way up, but the view was totally worth it. We finished the trail in about 4 hours. We are in our early 20's and are experienced hikers.

Great views throughout the entire trail. Some sections are quite steep but manageable. Feels longer than posted distance.

This was a great *hike* - but I’d actually wanted to trail run. Unfortunately, the terrain was just too rocky to get a good cadence going at any point. Amazing views though, and I’d recommend for hiking.

This hike was grueling almost to the point where it wasn’t enjoyable, and I was thoroughly exhausted by the end of it. However it is open enough that you can keep on trucking for the most part, and the view is well worth it.

Absolutely spectacular. Unbeatable views!

Great Hike, Great views some scrambling required. RT from parking to summit is closer to 6 miles.

Definitely doable. Up and down in 4 hours with 18 year old and 12 year old. Windy. Coats came on and off several times. Several false summits that give you hope you’re done when you’re not. End of trail sign at top was helpful. Beautiful scenery, especially coming down.

Trail can be easy to lose around the beginning, but overall a good hike. The scenic views are beautiful but you do see the town and the major road. Once you get down to the creek it's totally worth the visit.

This hike was amazing with absolutely beautiful scenery, lots of red rock and stunning views.

Tough hike but definitely doable. Fantastic views all around but the views along the way were actually better than the views from the top (in my opinion). Completed the round trip in just under 4 hours with several photo stops. There was leftover snow toward the top that had potential to be really slippery and hide loose rocks so be sure to wear good shoes if the ground is wet from rain or snow.

Favorite hike in Sedona.

easy to moderate once you begin to climb the mesa about 1.5 mi into the trail. views are great on top of the mesa couldn't find the last fork so turned abound at brines mesa turnoff. went the day after a snow, trail was very muddy!

Wonderful walk with amazing views. Some rocky footing, but not too bad. Enough up and down to keep it interesting.

wow! great views and this was our first trail we hiked in AZ. This will not disappoint

Perfect views of the Red Rocks and a good workout but easy enough!

Solid hike

3 stars compared to other Sedona hikes. Can hear traffic on AZ89A, just across Oak Creek, though not bad on a January weekday. Can be a wet shoe crossing of stream if you want to hike up to Midgley Bridge.

Very nice, combination of woods and red rocks

Parking is an issue, just 10 cars, police and tow away in the surrounding

Start on the right branch and come back in the left one

Fantastic hike! Make sure you make the hike up to the arches. AllTrails gps was very helpful to find the arches trail. Very steep climb but well worth it. Spectacular views all the way around this loop. We started on Brins Mesa and ended on Cibola Pass.

Pretty tough trail. I recommend bringing lots of snacks and water. Also we went in a windy day extra jackets helped. Views all the way up and down were stunning! The hike is definitely worth it

Beautiful hike. Parking a real problem. When we left shortly after noon people had were parking two miles down the road from the trailhead .

Views are stunning! Trail was in good shape and easy to follow.

It was a great hike and has several “false summits” for first timers

Probably one of the best trails/views in the area. Mostly because very few people actually hike to the top, so you'll have a little peace and quiet after the first mile or so which is a rarity in Sedona.

I am reasonable fit and it was 2hrs up and 1.30hrs back down with a few photo stops and a quick 10 min lunch.

It’s not too difficult for regular, reasonably fit hikers.

Beautiful views.

Best day hike you can find! Great bang for your effort. Gorgeous views. I trail ran this last March. 1hour to top,50 mins down. Total time 1 hour 50 mins. Returning again this weekend with my wife, I’ve been longing to do it again.
