The views on this trail were absolutely breathtaking. Suggest you go early. Starts getting busy around 8am.

Loved this hike! We hiked late afternoon and there wasn’t too many people in the trail, most of them were coming down. When we got tot the top only saw one other person. It was peaceful, beautiful and just incredible looking over the valley. We didn’t stay for sunset but I would imagine it’s a great spot for the sunset.
A little more difficult trail as you have to climb up the sandstone rocks. If you don’t have hiking shoes it could be slippery and tricky. But otherwise just a steep climb.

Beautiful view...if you can get it all to yourself. It was absolutely PACKED when we got to the top. Way too touristy! There was an actual line of like 15 people waiting to get “their perfect photo” on the bridge.
The hike was short and I would say easy. I was disappointed as I thought it would be more difficult or longer. The end has steps up to the top but other than that It was an easy leisure hike.

We had a jeep and were able to drive in to avoid walking the dusty trail in. The view from the top was amazing and a must to go on the bridge and take some pics!

It was a nice view worth the hike. Went 9/23 started @ 930 finished @ 1230 sat up there for about 40 minutes to see the view & snack. The inclines can be a little tough on knees and stuff but keep your hands free to help climb a bit. Water for sure needed. If you go earlier I’m sure it’s not as hot

Great views on this hike. A challenging hike for someone not is shape but I still made it to the top.

Absolutely breathtaking! You have to walk a little less than a mile through sand to actually get to the trail but the hike itself and the scenery made it so worth it. There’s also three trial options of ranging length and difficulty, all leading to the bridge.

Just amazing and easy! Highly recommend, did the longest route.

Great hike. Fairly short. Small crowd since it was early Friday.

Busy but fun
Tough in some parts but doable

Great views. Worth the hike.

Great hike. Not too hard, shade, beautiful scenery.

Lovely Nature Walk!

Did 7km to get ourselves acclimated, will come back and do the full hike next time.

Go early to avoid the dust and crowds

Beautiful views well worth the extra time to get to devils bridge. Easier to find a parking spot. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous views. Very easy hike until the last quarter mile.

Bring lots of water. It was very sunny when we went. Great views.

I would rate this hike as moderate due to the length and the steep scramble to the top.
The trail takes you through diverse terrain from desert to wooded forest.
Depending on the time of year, you should leave early. We left around 8:30A, (September 15) and by the time we completed the hike, the temp was 92F.

Beautiful scenic trail. I started at the mezcal trail head because the main trail head was way to crowded. It was a longer hike but well worth it.

beautiful as is!

An easy walk with closer view of red rock

good mix of terrain on the trail, uphill and downhill sections, lots of wildflowers and some nice views of the area. spotted a mature red necked thorny lizard basking on a rock, there seems to be lots along the trail but not fully developed into adults. watch out for falling trees!!

This is a beautiful trail. I went with my mom on my birthday and there was a lot of people hiking and waiting to take pictures on the trail but it was well worth it.

Well marked trail with beautiful vistas

Def. One of the hardest hikes of the trip! It’s not moderate! It’s hard. Once you’re on the top it requires lots of climbing to get to the top views. Is it worth it? 100%!!! The views are amazing !

Take water and snacks because you’ll def need it !

It’s a short climb to a picturesque bridge with an amazing valley back drop. Truly one of my favorites!

Really good hike, but I would say it is more strenuous than moderate only because it is steep and requires a lot of rock scrambling. When you get to the top, go to the left and climb further up for a second cool view!

Great moderate hike/climb. Start as early as possible to avoid heat and potential crowds. If you start the climb later in the morning and the heat kicks in, push through it will be worth it and along with the spectacular views up top. You’ll be gifted with shade and a cool breeze up top which makes the whole climb worth it! Pro tip sit and have lunch and a nap before you come back down Enjoy!

If you want to avoid the Jeep trail and blowing dust use the Chuckwagon trail and park at the Mescal Trail Head parking. That will take you on about a 5 mile hike to Devils Bridge and back. If you are looking for a longer hike. Park a little farther down the road at the Chuckwagon trail head. (Across the street) and take the Chuckwagon trail in. That way. That hike had to be closer to 8 or 9 miles. But Chuckwagon is a nice hike in the trees frequented mostly by mtn bikers. As for the bridge there is nothing I can say that hasn’t been said 100 times. It is a spectacular view and you will meet plenty of new friends. It is tough at the top for us old folks with knees that don’t like bend the way they used to. But other than that it is a pretty easy climb.

Awesome hike. Make sure and explore a bit at the end to find those special views.
