Really enjoyed this trail! Moderate elevation changes and great view from the top!

Nice hike and summit view close to Atlanta.

This is a phenomenal trail for one that is rated easy: incredible views within the first mile and very little elevation gain. If you have just one hour in Sedona this is the trail for you. Less than 3 minutes from Rte 179. We had come out of the Grand Canyon the day before and our legs were shot - this was the perfect easy trail to still get a taste of Sedona.

The only downside: the perfect solitude and quiet was obliterated first by a pink Jeep and then by a band of ATVs . Would have been a 5 star without that

Very beautiful, lots of shade and seen lots of Blue Jays

I love Boynton Canyon - beautiful red rocks and amazing positive energy throughout!

Good trail. Nothing difficult in regards to terrain changes. Nice view at the top. Excellent fall colors for mid November.

Beautiful view, but no dogs allowed!!

This is a really easy hike with great views. Perfect for a sunrise hike.

loved this trail, though there is a lot of noise from the resort and some of the rocky areas make it more moderate than easy. great sunrise photos of color on the red rocks

Phenomenal views! Great place to take in a sunset. Steep but doable climb. It was twilight as we were leaving and we heard coyotes.

Did the loop in 2 hours, with my family. Managed a little scramble up the Bell Rock :)
Started at 1PM and still was a pleasant hike. Got lucky!
Fantastic vistas of Sedona, all the way.
Will do this again next season.

Amazing red rock views! As Carrie C mentioned, DO NOT do the loop as shown. It has you returning on the Jeep road, your shoes and lungs will be full of red powder from the Jeeps. If you're looking for a loop, return via High on the Hog and Twin Buttes. Really recommend the short side trail to Submarine Rock. Easy to summit and great trail. Also mushroom rock, just before you get to chicken point. Broken Arrow is often crowded with people and Jeeps but well worth it.

This wasn’t really a “hike” to me. Golf carts will take you up from the lower parking area. The cathedral is beautiful. There is a gift shop and beautiful views. There is a gorgeous property on the right - whoever lives there is a very lucky person! It’s breath taking!

Top view very nice , great Trail .

Well marked trail. Be aware of mountain bikers who are generally very considerate. Lots of options to branch off to Submarine rock, Twin Buttes, and others.

Liked this view of Sedona

Great hike. the trail starts by a resort which is loud. once you're past it, the trail is beautiful.

My friend and I completed this short little trek on the evening of 10/13. We started our hike at 5 pm and returned to our car around 6:30 pm. The hike itself only took 45 minutes, but we spent some time on top of Sugarloaf taking in the views.

We were initially a bit discouraged, as it had been raining on and off all day long, and just as we were about to give up, the skies opened up and we were blessed with the gift of blue skies and sunshine!

We reached the summit of Sugarloaf right as the sun was beginning to burst through the clouds, providing us with a vibrant canvas of purple, pink, orange and yellow. We shared this magnificent sunset with just two other people, and it was the perfect way to conclude an absolutely majestic day in Sedona!

This is a very easy hike that provides 360 degree views of the town and surrounding valley. An ideal spot to catch a sunset and end your day!

The thing about Sedona trails, is that every one is amazing, and they’re just different. It’s like being in a restaurant where every dish is amazing, but there for different tastes.

I continue to be baffled by the AllTrails rating system. To call this one easy is ludicrous. It is a little over 3 miles out, a steady uphill climb of nearly 900 feet. The path has only a few easy stretches, most of it is ankle-busting roots and rocks. Sections of clambering especially last few hundred yards. The first part is more open and sunny, then it enters cool dense forest, and finishes close to the canyon walls.

Took me two hours, hiking fast and jogging in spots.

Although the Hilton “Enchantment” resort is in view for quite a long way, it is not bothersome, it is only to the left and it is built into the cliffs.

A solid moderate with a difficult finish.

great views

Great hike, but don’t forget your raincoat like I did. Busy in front, but as you make the turn toward Courthouse it breaks off and your the only person walking, except the newlyweds walking hand in hand in the rain. Great Hike if your in the area

Although very popular, this is a very beautiful hike!! The views along the whole trail are spectacular. There are some slight changes in elevation here and there but nothing too difficult.

Great hike! Saw a coyote when we first started out on the trail. Nice views from the summit. The path was decent and easy to follow throughout.

First hike we did in Sedona. Very easy. Beautiful views of Sedona and the canyon plus we saw a few coyotes which excites things. Will certainly do this one again.

Great first day hike to do to warm the legs up. Easy to do for all levels. Hiking thru the tall pines is beautiful and at the end looking back thru the canyon viewing it from the top is a pretty view.

Nice hike - would not considerate this moderate - more like easy. 9 year son did this with no issue. View from the top is nice. Busy trails on a Sunday morning but not overcrowded.

Easy hike with a beautiful view.
