Great trail, definitely would recommend going from west to east for an easier walk. We came from Devil’s Bridge.

Amazing trail with incredible views. Can get tricky in some spots and having shoes without grip does not help. It’s definitely doable for all ages, and easier to get down if you use your butt! Regardless, worth it for the views and exercise!

This was a beautiful hike. HOWEVER, before reaching the devils bridge there’s a very steep climb on rocks. VERY SCARY! I did it but I wouldn’t do it again.

Amazing view. Mentally and physically challenging but definitely worth it!!

It’s so beautiful here . Different view all around you . My favorite one !

Beautiful view ! Start early to beat the crowd and watch the sunrise .

Amazing views

Beautiful view, at the end! This hike does require a lot of rock climbing and can be a bit slippery. Make sure you wear hiking shoes for good grip. There were a lot of people who brought their dog along for the hike, but they just have to be on a leash.

Climbing up the mountain was a bit of a challenge and may appear scary for those afraid of heights. I thought I wasn’t going to make it up at first and freaked out when looking back down.. but I manage to push myself to the top. Surprisingly the way down seems a lot easier.

Parking day pass is $5.

P.S. don’t follow strangers down a different path.. you go up and down the same way you came from.

Must do. Moderate to difficult climb but the view is incredible!

Easy trail with a bit of climb at the end. Beautiful views. Take the trail and let the vehicles take the road.

Loved it

Probably one of my favorite short hikes I’ve done. The views are beautiful the entire time and constantly changing. Personally would probably rank this hike as easy, though the last sprint to the top is a decently steep incline.

very easy hike worth it beautiful view

Crowded on the weekends but still a beautiful hike with some great views! Worth it to stop and take some pictures st some of the viewpoints. Plan to wait in a short line to get your picture on the bridge if it is crowded!

Requires a bit of effort to scramble up some rocks but the view is worth it! Tried to catch the sunset up top but some of the surrounding rocks blocked the direct view but it was still beautiful! Would totally hike again

I saw it right before I pulled into manzanita campground—which is a fantastic spot that fills up quick with the loveliest host Lidia—very glad there was sticks at the trailhead marking for support because there is a lot of compacted snow and most of the trail is very narrow—the views are spectacular and there were only a few people that I passed on trail—it will be unforgiving on the knees but well worth it. definitely continue onto the Vultee Arch—you’ll see a sign and it’s very close from there—I was lucky to have a clear sunny day plenty warm — I would believe in not near perfect conditions, given there’s snow already on trail, this would be treacherous . Good boots, poles or a stick provided , and plenty of water/snacks and you’ll really enjoy this one

I would suggest not bringing dogs if you plan on going out on the natural bridge.

Perfect weather. The trail was pretty well documented. It was crowded, but it wasn’t your average in and out hike. There were multiple view points. A thing to watch out for is the off roading vehicles.

Great hike. Was busy on the Saturday after New Years. Lots of snow and compact snow/ice on the top half and muddy in the lower half. Crowded. Great views and well worth it.

Amazing trail with amazing views!

awesome trail with lots of scrambling up rocks. Probably my favorite hike so far in Sedona

Great hike that can be incredibly crowded. We went off season and it was as still quite busy. I would only do again if taking someone who hadn’t seen it before or if there were very few vehicles at the TH. Beautiful views throughout the hike.

This hike was so much fun! A quick little hike with some climbing, but not too difficult.

This trail is very challenging due to its steepness and rockiness. Beautiful views but those can be had elsewhere in Sedona - this is for the strenuousness. The trail is mostly chapparal and cacti. Someone claimed to have gotten up top in one hour and down in 40 minutes - anyone who has hiked the trail knows the 1 hour ascent time is virtually impossible and running down is definitely impossible due to the steepness and rocky terrain (noted just as a warning because this hike is the real difficult deal and you should plan accordingly). On the other hand if you are in superior shape from regular aerobic exercise (including altitude acclimation, the top is at 6,500 feet) you should be able to complete it in 3 to 3.5 hours, longer in the summer. The five hours noted at the trailhead would be appropriate for someone not accustomed to the altitude or regular aerobic exercise.

Super cool trail. Definitely one of the toughest I’ve ever done. Allow yourself the full 5 hours that it says it takes if you plan to do the whole trail. Only 4ish miles round trip but lots of elevation and strategy involved. Also, so many great places to stop and take it all in. There were 3 or 4 times that we thought we were at the top and realized we had quite a ways left. Once at the top, there is a sign that says “End of Trail”. Totally worth the hike. I 100% recommend it!

Short hike with moderate difficulty. The view at the top is PRICELESS. Defiantly an awesome trail!

Very cool hike and not too difficult. Wild not recommended walking along the road because it can get dusty with cars driving on it. Plus, the hike is scenic.

A good workout and worth it

Great challenge

Amazing hike. Only took an hour to ascend though it wasn’t exactly easy. Let’s just say my legs are going to be sore. The views are stunning. Sedona is an absolutely gorgeous area. My pup and I spent about 45 minutes up on top before descending...which only took about 40 minutes due to the fact we basically ran down it....it definitely doesn’t take 4 or 5 hours to hike like the signs outside of the trailhead say. Well, not if you’re in decent shape.
