Great hike, tremendous views of Sedona as well as a Flagstaff.

We came to devils bridge via Chuckwagon trail which is delightfully easy and beautiful. Devil's bridge was incredible and totally worth the journey to the top where everyone helps each other get that perfect pic. 16km for the total trip.

Awesome hike up...views along the way are fantastic. We came in via Yavapai trail head and hiked Slim Shady to Templeton to get to bottom of Cathedral Rock Trail. We didn't do the Templeton loop and just backtracked so round trip it was 11km for the whole trip. Slim Shady and Templeton were easy and very few people.

Fantastic trail. Wife thought because distance was short it would be easy. Be prepared!

Beautiful not crowded!

Great hike, go early to avoid the heat. Amazing views once you reach the ‘bridge’. Could be a bit challenging to climb for some

Easy trail to a lookout. In November we went at 6 am and the colors were really good as the sun hit the red rocks at about 7 am glad we waited for the sun to rise over the mountains and hit the red rocks to the west! Beautiful!!!

Completed this hike back in October and it is truly magnificent.

I had read previously about the parking and crowd. So we were the first to get there at the Long Canyon parking area just before sunrise. That turned out to be a great decision because we get to see the sunrise between the rock formations. The trail was rocky & offered much interest through a creekbed & fantastic vista points. Climbing up to the bridge and bridge itself were highlight for sure. Pay attention to where the trail intersects the wide jeep road so when you return from the bridge, you don't miss the trail. Good to have GPS and map since this was our 1st time there, and some parts on the rocky trail was not a clear trail to follow which way to go so early, without other people to follow.

This is NOT an easy trail for mountain biking. There are a few sections that are very difficult to ride (especially when going up to Chicken Point) but it’s not that hard to walk your bike through these sections, and it’s worth it!

When you get up to Chicken Point, hang out awhile and enjoy the amazing views. You might be lucky enough to se someone riding “The White Line”. You can continue riding around back to “the Hogs” or go back down and make your first left and rip down Llama. It’s a fun trail that you can ride fast.

Went there 2 days ago and loved it. We had rented a jeep, and it was worth it to drive almost 1 mile in and then hiked the rest. Came across a couple from Florida who walked the entire way, and the happily joined us in the jeep for the last park of the trail down. Lucky for them because it became very windy and dusty as we finished the trip.

Be daring and walk out on the arch (it looks worse then it is). We took pictures and had a good time with strangers we had never met.

We went 2 days ago, and it is definitely a hard trail. Some spots we were using all fours to climb. So worth it at the top. Windy and somewhat cold so bring that extra layer, hat, and gloves to keep warm.

Was a long loop trail but so wonderful. Go counterclockwise at the loop.

This is amazing, it took me about 1 hour to climb the view was AMAZING I really enjoyed this and I want to do this again!

Surpassed my expectations. The devils bridge arch is spectacular, but the hike in was much lusher and diverse than I had anticipated.

Fantastic hike. Definitely challenging but not the monster the sign at the start makes it out to be. We finished in 3.5 hours including a solid 40 minute lunch break at the summit. However since it's November, the temperatures were ideal and I can see this being a real grind during the hot season. Bring plenty of water and food no matter the season, sunscreen up because there's not a ton of shade, and be kind to your poor knees and bring your poles for the descent. The parking lot has a vending machine for Red Rock passes now if you're only here a couple days and don't want to spring for the annual, and there's good toilets. ~20 parking spaces with plenty of room for parallel parking on the street if the lot fills up.

The hike itself is a total stunner, and never boring. There are some quite steep, almost scrambly sections that really spice it up, and you traverse 4 or 5 fascinatingly different geologic sections. The trail is well marked with white diamond blazes spray painted on the rock, and they are oriented in the direction the trail leads. This shouldn't present any kind of a route-finding challenge for anyone who's hiked in the desert southwest and knows to look for cairns or other markers when the trail isn't obvious, but for those newer hikers, just make sure you look down from the insane views from time to time. And the views. WOW. Easily a top 3 Sedona hike for views. You not only get an amazing look back at all the amazing and familiar red rock formations of Sedona while you're on the way up, but you get a lovely panorama out south, west, and northwest, giving you a look at several different mountain ranges as well as HS Canyon immediately below you to the west, and Secret Mountain and Mount Humphreys to the north. It also was pleasantly free of crowds. No bottlenecks here. Although today, we did pass a large group who (amazingly) had hiked up to witness their friends be married at the summit. A wedding venue for the ages to be sure.

Well worth the effort and highly recommended.

Beautiful vista at the end but this trail is much more of a moderate than an easy. There are stretches where you go up rocks on the path that could be hazardous if your footing is not good. A lot of bikes on the narrow parts of the trail make for tough going in some parts. Bring water! Budget more time than you think. Also be sure to wear a hat, as there is little shade.

Clearly marked trail with great views from the top. Highly recommend it!

Lots of fun. Beautiful views. Easy on the knees. Easy parking lot access.

Loved it! Best one so far, challenging but totally doable.

If you can only do one hike, do this one. We took a left at the cow pie/hangover sign post, going counter clockwise around the trail. Bikes have to take the cow pie trail (right at the sign post) to get to hangover trail. I was glad to be heading towards bikers rather than having them come up behind us. The views are amazing. This is a challenging hike...not hard, but definitely on the more difficult side of moderate. It took us about 3.5 hours to do the 8+ miles. We weren’t hustling, but kept a decent pace.

This is a really easy hike with great views. Perfect for a sunrise hike.

A fun, short, but steep hike! Beautiful views at the top, my favorite vortex in Sedona!

Amazing views but long and tiring hike when the sun is beating down. You get no relief from the sun for over half of the hike. Then when you think you are done, you keep climbing and hoping to get to the trail head. If you are lucky enough to get a parking spot at the actual trailhead, that is great. But if you have to park at the airport lot, the last .6 is not fun! But it was an awesome hike and I would do it again.

Hardest trail we’ve done in Sedona by far. Feelin my glutes and hammies today. Best views and super peaceful at the top. Worth every step!

Stunning! Drive in as far as you can if you want to save some time. The walk in is what takes the most time.
