Great easy hike with very little elevation change. The best part is the Rock scramble at the end, where there are beautiful views as you climb. Very easy for children and a lot of shade as you make your way to the scramble.

Only thing we would do differently is go in via Chuckwagon trail instead of the road. Much of the road is dusty and traveled by jeeps and 4 wheelers. The bridge is definitely worth hiking to even though the last quarter of a mile is fairly steep and requires a little scrambling.

It was beautiful, a pretty easy walk/hike. Don't bring your dog unless you know they can handle it. There were a lot of people carrying small dogs.

Relatively short and for the most part easy. There's one section getting near the top where you have to scramble up the rocks. There's also a side trail where you can view the arch from underneath which as worth the extra little walk. The trail was quite crowded so if I went again I would go during the week and even earlier in the morning

Very scenic, easy and not crowded if you go in the evening. Wrapped up hike right before sunset.

Easy trail with good views.

30 minutes to the top with my 9 year old daughter. Spent 30-40 minutes at the top taking in the views.

Takes your breath away early on and keeps you excited. There are a few scrambles so I wouldn't recommend doing it while holding a toddler.. but we saw someone doing just that and they seemed OK.

Great hike.

Toddler friendly hike. End has a nice rock scramble that is a must do...just not with the toddler. Beautiful views both ways from the top.

If you stick out a thumb and a bee you might get a free private pink Jeep tour from a local on the walk back :)

We took Chuck Wagon Trail there and back. We got there around 7:30am and easily found parking. Nice, easy hike most of the way. It was a little bit of a climb at the very end but nothing crazy and well worth it :)

This is an extremely popular hike and the parking lot stayed full so there was a lot of parking on the road. We drove our Jeep in on the wide, rocky path for about a quarter-mile and hiked in the rest. There are several, well setup steep steps which quickly add to the elevation of this hike but I overheard several folks say it is well worth the effort, and I certainly agree.

Walked in from Aerie and enjoyed the switchback trail to the top of Doe Mountain. Walked the perimeter, enjoying the great views from the top. Would recommend this trail to most people who enjoy a great hike with just a bit of a challenge. My wife's Fitbit clocked it at just over 5.5 miles.

It was pretty good. Nothing too crazy. It’s close to a vortex as well.

Did this at sunset and climbed as high as we comfortably could. Spectacular views as the sun lit up the red rocks

Hiked Thursday 4/12 in the afternoon. Super popular and busy trail- not for those looking for solitude. Easy inclines and everyone is patient to allow each person to walk onto the bridge for a photo op. Great views.

Very beautiful, fun trail through canyon with scrambling at the end. Fantastic with kids

Dust and vehicles on the trail leading to the trailhead are annoying, but the views from the top are well worth the time. Doable in ~45 minutes to 1 hour one way.

Nice and easy trail, with a little bit of difficulty at the end, finishing with a beautiful view!

Short easy walk but worth the stop, fantastic cliff dwellings.

Great, great trail. We hiked with three small kids and our dog, everyone had a blast. If you can do the rock scramble at the end, you definitely should. Dad and the oldest child (9) went up and the view was spectacular!

The hike from the parking lot wasn’t too bad. If you have a 4wheel drive car and sits high, you can go down the trail and park it closer, then hike your way up. Very cool spot to add to the list.

I like others also consider this closer to moderate. If you throw in the Tabletop Trail side trail then moderate for sure.

Biggest obstacle is parking. I use the Bandit Trail which gives a little more elevation as well as some other parking options that only locals seem to know about. There are 4-5 spaces in the parking lot at Tom Lawler Plumbing.

A very scenic trail, probably the most scenic in all of Sedona. I’ve done it about 5-6 times over the years. Great views of Cathedral Rock on the southeast side. Even better views if you opt to add a mile to your hike by taking the Tabletop Trail.

The trail itself isn’t that bad in terms of foot traffic. Just get there early for parking.

Very beautiful hike! Lots of shade and trees. Plus you're surrounded by the beautiful red rocks above the trees. Pretty easy so kids and people of all abilities should be able to complete.

Beautiful view! We had our little dog with us. Just hiked to the base of Bell Rock.

Not too difficult, some good views along the way and a cool finish at the bridge. Go early for parking and to avoid the masses of people.

Started from Chuckwagon to avoid hiking the dirt road. 4.6 miles round trip per Garmin. Trail was crowded and noisy. The arch is great for pictures and there are scenic red rock views along the way, but can get those views anywhere in Sedona. Will opt for a path less taken next time.

Very different from other hikes in the area as it is shaded and quite green. Easy nature walk good for people of all ages and abilities but enough rock climbing on the side paths to keep people occupied. When the trail ends you can hike up the steep hill in front of you for a gorgeous view of the whole canyon. That little climb at the end can be a good test prior to the Cathedral Rock climb.

this is not an easy trail. moderate for sure. 3.6+ miles around the airport hill. very rocking and uneven footing. long up and down grade sections. on a 80° day bring plenty of water. absolutely great views of cathedral rock, bell rock, the souther landscape and the northern landscape. best place to park is half way up the road below the scenic lookout but there are only about 12 spaces. if you park up at the scenic viewing lot you must walk 1/2mi down and back to the trailhead. in addition the short peak trail at the begining is a sideline not to miss!
