Amazing. A must see!

Awesome waterfall!

It was my first time in years sense I’ve been there. It was even more beautiful than I remember. It was my three dogs and myself that went. Found some pretty cool areas just around the falls as well. :)

easy short hike not the most diverse

The 1st half of this trail is awesomely beautiful and goes to a stream that runs into the lake in a nice little cove. The next section that goes away from the water and off into the woods is great. The last 1/2 mile+ is pathetic and is on a road uphill back to the TH. The trail is in excellent shape with a few small trees down and a rock that are all easily passed.

The best option for this trail would be an out and back to where the trail turns up and away from the lake shore. If I had done it as mentioned I would have rated it a 5 instead of a weak 4... I'm surprised this trail was approved because of the road portion of the hike.

At the TH make sure to take the fork to the the right with the signage.

nice, easy hike in. no snow but a few spots of minor mud but ends with breathtaking view of the falls.

Hiked this with my mom on Mother’s Day. Great for kids and old people. Very pretty wild flowers along the way. It was great seeing families out as well. Got lucky and got a parking spot as someone was leaving.

AMAZING falls at this time of year (April) in the rain. Not much of a “hike” which is a bummer. But if you take the path on the right it’s pretty fun climb down to the falls, very steep and dangerous, especially in the mud. Lots of poison oak tho. Easy switchback trail to the left.

Easy hike
Good views

The pool! Can climb down with rope. Stairs super well maintained. About 100 steps up and the same down. Clean, bathroom setting at trailhead. Went in March, no snow, not cold: just perfect weather. Tons of water.

The birds! The trail is well maintained, the dam is a plus. Bird watching shacks are very convenient close to the river. Flat enough to jog and run (kids). Not much shade, lots of sun.

Small park and small trail but interesting because of the creek. A lot of people here just to take home spring water...

Great hike. Did this two days ago with my dog after a snow storm the night before.

Beautiful and awe inspiring! The waterfalls were really flowing with all the melted snow. It also lightly snowed during our hike which created a storybook magical scene. The trail was pretty well kept as well so you could focus on the beauty around you. 10/10 would visit again

Great hike

Great trail! unfortunately went in August so the falls was just a trickle. So if you're hiking for the falls, you'll be disappointed! They are very small in comparison to the beauties further north on Hwy. 138!

Snow has the road to Falls rather challenging to say the least. Lots of deep snow ... no clearance. hard ... need a 4x4 and good tires!

It was a great waterfall and view hiked the whole loop, very easy

Nothing like relaxing in the middle of so much beauty only nature can give!

Easy trail with a large variety of birds. Beautiful scenery along the river.

Great hike! The falls are stellar. I went in late September but hope to return another time in the fall when the leaves have changed!

Enjoyable hike with a large rock blocking the trail. This simple 3 foot clamber limiting passage to able bodied hikers.
The trail is a loop but know that the trail pops out 1/2 mile down the paved road. NOTE: Don’t be fooled with the lesser path heading uphill from the trailhead, this leads to the top of the hill with no connection to the loop trail. You will be backtracking to the trailhead to start again.

Next time we go we are going to start by walking downhill on the road and get the tarmac portion of this hike out of the way while we are fresh. Be warned if you leave it till the end of your hike it is a bit of an unwelcome uphill grind with the sun reflecting off the tarmac. Don’t worry the trail is clearly posted, located at the point where the road widens for the boat launch parking.

Beautiful, easy going trail. Gets really cold come winter because of it being so close to the water. There are several hidden secrets just off the trail if you're paying attention! One of my personal favorites.

Great quick and easy hike to a beautiful waterfall. Stopped on the way to Crater Lake and it was totally worth it. Check out video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcRCOVhdvhI

Heavily trafficked trail. Family friendly and pet friendly. Well marked and easy to find. If you make the drive all this way, I recommend visiting some of the other waterfalls along Hwy 138. Clearwater Falls and Whitehorse Falls are along side the road and do not require any hiking to see them. Watson Falls (the 3rd tallest waterfall in Oregon) is about 2-3 miles round trip. Umpqua Hot Springs is also proximal, but be prepared for nudity if you decide to stop by.

Pretty spot and we hiked up to the top of the falls too!

One of the best waterfalls I've been to but very heavily trafficked. If you are feeling adventures you can go off the trail and climb down some steep rocks to the bottom of the waterfall. Since it's such a short hike you might as well take advantage of the Umpqua hot springs a few miles down the road after.

Beautiful and easy hike! The Middle Falls were definitely the show stopper. Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy day with amazing views.
