This is a wonderful trail. The falls are great and the water is super cold… perfect after sweating your a$$ off hiking back to the car. The overlook at Eagle Bluff is awesome as well. At only 1.1 miles each way, I just wish it was longer.

A family favorite when we are in the area. We always do the shortcut loop bc the kids love the swinging bridge. Parts of the trail are very narrow and there is a ton of poison ivy and poison oak. Recommend socks and/or long pants.

Nice hike!! Pretty waterfalls!

We found this trail slightly challenging, But beautiful and well worth the hike.

A true hidden beauty! Absolutely beautiful!

It was a good hike, but we didn’t do the out and back. We ended up doing a loop with another trail. Beautiful! Done with kids and they did fine.

nice shaded easy walk.

Did the north side of the stream trail which was not very well maintained so the next time I will do the south side that sounds like a better option on my next camping trip to Bandy Creek Campground.

quick and easy hike with gorgeous views

New to hiking and not in the best physical condition. Distance was just right and the view is gorgeous! Go past the tower to enjoy climbing on some cool rocks!!

Beautiful man made falls near the base of the hike. Then you ascend steeply for the remainder to reach a great lookout/picnic spot!

When I went, it was the middle of a hot day in early June. Only the north entrance was open. I encountered less than 10 other ppl during my 1.5 hours uphill towards the south parking lot then back on Wimp’s pass (begrudgingly only due to the name). It was mid-afternoon and all the people I saw appeared towards the end of my jaunt. Not over burdened by insects or “technical” terrain. The uphill was definitely that. The low way back was flat and easy. I think due to the proximity to Knoxville this system is excellent.

Great for light walk with your dog.

Beautiful mountain scenery and great for the whole family

Beautiful trail, lots of roots and rocks - watch your feet for sure! Gorgeous overhanging foliage, but would be super tight if you had a kiddo in a backpack. Would definitely try the longer trail (4 miles versus 2) next time.

Rock were slipper over cast day worth going to see

Nice easy trail. Good view.

A quick hike with a great view!

This place is beautiful! I didn’t do much walking but it’s very quiet on a Sunday afternoon. It feels like a quiet hideaway but still near civilization.

Great trail for Sunday afternoons! Easy, good workout without the treadmill!

Exactly what I was looking for!
Quick fun little hike with a lot of mini rivers and waterfalls into a rewarding view at the top.
Not terribly difficult and up and down in around 45-1h for a moderate hiker.

Our go to trail for a quick trip to the mountains. Go past the fire tower for some fun rock clambering for the kid's. Be careful! There are huge drop offs!

Great short hike that’s just a quick detour off 75. Triple Falls are neat and the overlook is great. Can see all the way to the Smokies on a clear day. Trail is pretty worn out in some places due to erosion and overuse.

A beautiful neighborhood park that offers volleyball, soccer, Trail and paved running. A small dog park, frisbee golf, a small lake for fishing and large pavilion. Very family oriented but lots of open space for individuals needing some alone time as well.

Pretty trail, for the most part. Still has some things that need to be cleaned up from the ice storm a few years ago.

I loved this park. The trails are clear enough to do a longer hike and roll up and down a bit. There is a gorgeous view to the river, lake and water. It is very peaceful. I would highly recommend staying on the side away from the main road or you will wind up walking along the busy road for a stretch. I think it is the blue and yellow trails that are along the road for a while. Otherwise the scenery is idyllic and it was not busy at all when my dog and I hiked here. The few people we encountered were very kind and lovely. I loved this place! ( don’t let the drive TO the park deter you from going, the surrounding areas leave quite a bit to be desired).

I have hiked this trail several times, but today the trail was completely washed out in several areas after the bridge. Also there were several trees over the trail.

The water was really flowing and the trail was really muddy. I love all the falls and cascades....beautiful.

This is one of my favorite walks at Ijams. Semi-long, but pretty easy. Beautiful views. Well-maintained. I take my eight-year-old on his bike and my three-month-old in the jogging stroller, and we all enjoy it.
