The Saxon Shore Way is a long distance footpath following the coastline of the South East. It is an interesting historical walk with much to see and do along the way. part of the train as you meet the sea wall is extremely overgrown. I jumped onto the sea wall and walked along that for several stretches, which definitely slowed me down. otherwise a great course

Great walk with lots of scenery overlooking the Isle of Sheppey. Make sure you take a snack and a drink for along the way. Especially if it’s a hot day oh and a hat!!. Nice pub at either end but nothing in between.

This trail was good. A lot of litter/fly tipping and some trees down over the path due to the recent storms. Came across a section with some fairly aggressive dogs running loose so had to make a detour through the back of Iwade. Lovely views over the marshes and loads of different bird species to see. We did the route backwards, walking from Rainham to Swale train stations.
