Nice walk along the cliffs. Took the detour down to the railway at Clifftop Cafe, pretty gruelling on the way back up - a lot of steps!!

Nice walk with some steep climbs. For some part of the walk you will constantly hear the road though. Tip: Next to the Clif top cafe, there is a path that leads down, from there you can walk along the shore to the nearby nature reserve. It is not an easy walk but beautiful along the beach. To get down, you will have to use a ladder that is placed there.

Really hard in places, excess rainfall didn't help

Really great for first half, last part is quite flat and residential.

Lovely route all in all. Some parts are not brilliantly signposted but easy to get back on the correct trail. Because its the Kent coast we got a lot of the heat in the morning and as the sun moved to the south and west it actually got “cooler” during the day. There are a number of cafe and pub stops along the way - around 2 hrs of walking in. Being a Londoner great as a fay trip starting in Dover and ending in Deal. A great walk all in all

Beautiful walk! We walked from Canterbury via Crab and Winkle way and then continue to Herne Bay. Have to say part from Whitstable to Herne Bay was our favourite. It was just stunning!

Absolutely gorgeous walk providing great views over Hastings, lovely British countryside and the sea. It’s very hilly at the start but relatively flat once you get past this. Rye is a beautiful place to end the walk. There’s a section which cuts back on itself, it’s clear on the map which part I’m talking about. This is a private road that can easily be mistaken to be a footpath, look out for the sign and turn left down the road instead of going straight. The walk took us around 5 hours.

Great views of the bridge and often jet bikers. Used by horses for too so sometimes a little manure dodging required

I often take our children and dogs on this lovely walk from herne bay. once you get around half way, you reach a fairly untouched part of the beach with a lovely river going down to the sea. spikes out of the sand/mud and lovely views of Essex and the isle of sheppey. Or you can go the grass route and over a bridge over the river, both are lovely. once past this bit, there is a skate park with people doing incredible bmx, skateboard and scooter skills. From here there are a row of lovely beach huts, a sailing club and up the top of the green a cafe for refreshments, or you can wonder further for food in whitstable with an abundance of options. the beach by the harbour and the Neptunes arms for a drink midway is a lovely recharge before you head back 5* walk

Great trail. The first 8km have mild ups and downs but is definitely the best part. Beautiful scenery and amazing ocean views. The flat part goes through fields and it’s quite lovely Rye village. Definitely will be back soon

part of the train as you meet the sea wall is extremely overgrown. I jumped onto the sea wall and walked along that for several stretches, which definitely slowed me down. otherwise a great course

Great walk with lots of scenery overlooking the Isle of Sheppey. Make sure you take a snack and a drink for along the way. Especially if it’s a hot day oh and a hat!!. Nice pub at either end but nothing in between.

This trail was good. A lot of litter/fly tipping and some trees down over the path due to the recent storms. Came across a section with some fairly aggressive dogs running loose so had to make a detour through the back of Iwade. Lovely views over the marshes and loads of different bird species to see. We did the route backwards, walking from Rainham to Swale train stations.
