Their policy has changed - you must have a reservation on the weekends even to hike! It's a one lane road in and out and they turned cars away at the park making for really bad traffic jams. And the ranger told us you can't park outside Sveadal and walk through there, either. So a long drive for nothing.

I really enjoyed this trail. Lots of wildlife and cute cows that graze the fields. Little Yosemite is a lovely landmark along the way, although it tends to be pretty crowded with people sunbathing, wading and swimming. Not trying to be a party pooper, but this place does NOT allow swimming and wading...I wish people would respect this park rule since it's usually in place for a good reason... I'm removing an extra star from my review due to the fact none of the water faucets/fountains work.

Lovely short hike!!!

Beautiful trail and views just ALOT of poison oak is why I removed one star

This is a stroller friendly stroll alongside a pretty shaded creek.

Lots of PO this time of year. Otherwise beautiful redwoods and a nice up and back. Take your map. No trail markings. We started left and came back through centre.

Great cliff side hike with periodic framed views west. A few boulder scrambles but well-maintained trail. Obnoxious gun fusillades at the Goat point on the weekend.

For being so close to town, this is a great day hike area. I adored the scene of California poppies sprinkled throughout the rock outcroppings that were painted orange with lichen. There is a nice view of San Jose atop the ridge line. The ridge gets windy, bring a shell or light jacket.

Started at HQ. easy walk to the Sempervirens Falls. From there we took the Sequoia Trail up the hill and across the 236 to skyline to sea. That was much prettier

Very nice trail with diverse scenery. Great views from the rock climbing spots.

This is my first time hiking around Morgan Hill and this is totally worth it! We hiked right after the rain so everything was so green. We got to see wild animals along the ways. Please note the best time to go is spring or Fall.

You get to see people rock climbing its pretty cool!
Nice Hike

Beautiful place. Loved it

The longest hike I have done till now and the most beautiful one too. Beautiful waterfalls. Gigantic redwoods. Silent nature.
Carry enough fluids and food. Sit near each waterfall, on the fallen redwoods and refuel yourself. Enjoyed this hike to the fullest. I will be going once again for this same hike soon.

Probably the second hardest hike I have done. Not in terms of difficult and steepness, but rather in terms of mere length. Bring lots of water and start early. The view of the waterfalls (multiple water falls :)) is worth the hike! enjoy guys! :)

Large portion of the trail runs alongside the road which takes the serenity out of the hike whenever a car drives by. The second half after passing Shadowbrook trail was much better with road noise. Overall the hike was pleasant, and relaxing. Small detour to see the falls. I would rate this as an easy hike.

This has become my favorite trail the blaze whether rain, hail or shine

I really enjoyed hiking this trail. Parking is scarce, find what you can along the side of the road. Went up Limekiln and could hear the streams bubbling. Met more bikers than hikers the day I went. The green gate at the top opens up to a few other trails - but I stayed on this loop. Limekiln provides shaded trails while the Priest Rock side has more open sky. I’d say coming up the other way is more difficult with a steeper incline. All in all, took me under 2 hours to complete including a bit of downhill jogging on the Priest Rock side. Definitely will be coming back to explore the other trails in this area.

Good up hill workout. Nice rainy day hike with fog. Not many people. There are two entrances along the road. Park at one and take the trail at the top that loops back down. Then walk a bit on the road back to your car where you started.

I love the park itself more than this one trail.

This was a great hike, but it is NOT easy. The Tony Look portion along the reservoir is a narrow trail with slight elevation changes that I would classify as easy. Once you get to Coyote Ridge it’s a huge grind to the top. Beautiful and worth doing but be prepared for a strenuous climb and bring some water. The loop took us 2.5 hours and we are one very fit and two reasonably fit adults.

Went early on Sunday morning, 3/4. Take the unmarked trail to the left of the trailhead sign to go directly to Castle Rock. Didn't seem worth it to me, but to each their own. Some snow on the ground from yesterday's storm, with the sun melting snow in the trees. Wasn't expecting rain! Once I got to the falls I didn't need my raincoat. Despite the rain from yesterday, the falls were just more than a dribble. Nice hike on the Saratoga Gap side, but the Ridge trail gave much better views. It was more difficult with roots, steeper climbs, and boulders/rocks on the path, but worth it. Took me 3.5 hours with a lunch break. Nice area just west of Goat Rock to have a picnic. I hope to come back one day to do the Skyline to the Sea hike. Love having a wooded trail this close to home!

Beautiful trail, with a few rocks to casually climb and get hidden gorgeous views:)
Trail itself is well maintained.

Not too hard, a little steep at times. Can see SJ, SF, and Oakland from the top!

Not too far from home but offers tons of hiking, backpacking, and even camping options from this single staging park. Today we just did around 5 mike loop but it was perfect for our two families. Ran into many people up to Little Yosemite falls spot but then it thinned out a bit. Still you’re never alone long, especially in such a sunny day after a week of rains. I’m planning to do the section hike to Del Valle from here in the summer solo, but the lush green landscapes today were so nice.
