Very windy but super nice. Not packed and nice views!
love the long part of the trail it really shows the scenery of Arizona
Wide trail, well used by hikers and horses. Well maintained as well so could move fast on this hike. Minimal elevation gain and gradual if go counter clockwise. Doesn’t feel as intimate or impressive as the canyons on Mt Lemon.
Nice views of the city and surrounding mountains. Elevation gain is gradual throughout until the last mile which is more difficult.
Good hike - lots of elevation. Trail well used for the first 3 miles and then more of a single track. Lots of scree, consider poles
Not much to see. It would be amazing if the water was running, but nothing at this point (mid Feb 2021). Quite a bit of traffic on the trail. EASY.
Loved it!
Well marked, beautiful views. Very windy!
Great trail! I am sure this is a beautiful one when there are wild flowers. There is some elevation gain, but it’s not too bad. This would be a great trail to trail run. There was a trickle of water at bridal falls :) And I just wanted to say THANK YOU to the stranger who found my wallet by my car and put it in the handle of my car door. I have no idea how it fell out, but wow I am so grateful to whomever found it.
Truly amazing out there. The falls were barely a trickle, but the back side of the loop was breathtaking.
Trail with great views. You start climbing out of the parking lot and continue to do so for much of the hike. 2800 feet of climb. Tough hike but manageable.
Great trail with wonderful elevation, beautiful scenery and water at the falls!
Beautiful!
Well marked trail that was easy to follow. Went on a Friday afternoon and there were quite a few people on the trail.
Great trail, plenty of parking at the start of trail. This trail is accurately rated as hard. The climb is pretty constant but most of it is manageable until about the last .5. This part of the climb is challenging so we took it slow. Such a great feeling to reach the top! Be aware, even though it was a beautiful warm day, it was quite windy and cold when we reached the summit. When hiking this trail in winter/ early spring, having a light shirt or jacket in your pack isn’t a bad idea. The views start almost immediately so it is not necessary to push all the way to the top of the summit if you want to experience the beauty of this trail. Highly recommend!
My friend and I hiked our bikes up about half way, so we could get a quick ride down. It was a blast! Comparable to Bugs Springs and just as chunky! Next time we'll be going all the way to the top for that gnar gnar. It's definitely in my top 5 trails in Tucson now -- so much fun! The only downside really is the parking and popularity, but that's expected with a trail this awesome! Just be friendly and courteous to the hikers and they might even cheer you on! thanks guys! Just like the other burlier trails of Tucson keep your speed and stay confident to get through those chunky rock gardens. Heels down, head up, body engaged!
Great hike, starts off slow but then you hit the climb and lots of rock stairs.
