This portion of the trail was an easy stride and full of autumn beauty! Great year round trail.

This place is beautiful and peaceful but the horse owners do not pick up the horses waste like they are supposed to which is very inconsiderate. There is horse shit literally everywhere. This place would be perfect if it weren’t for that.

The best ever! We went early in the morning and were there by ourself for a few hours. It was blissful. Make sure to leave your glitter at home as the stupid hippies have left enough along the trail and trees.

hiking

Great easy hike to take guests. Easy trail to go in chacos or tennis shoes. This October has been more forgiving than most so it was a great day to go early.

Awesome hike, I’ve hiked it three times. Amazing falls.

great trail, but I ended up parking at Firelane 15 (about half a mile before the trailhead) because I couldn't easily find the start to this trail. I hiked Firelane 15 (blue trail on the left, on the map) until it connected to Skyline, and then just looped around from there. It took me an hour and a half hiking at a steady pace. Pretty empty (I went on a Tuesday at 3:30), and peaceful. Good signage.

Great place , had a blast with kids , there is a playground , nice river running by , nice hike trails I loved it

Lovely hike on easy trails. There are a couple beautiful falls for a shorter hike.

Extremely easy hike as most of the trail was paved. The bridge and the water is beautiful and we definitely enjoyed it as a more leisurely hike.

gorgeous, but parking very nominal..

Beautiful trail. Definitely recommend hiking poles, it was a little slippery at some places. Watch out for a steep incline almost half way through the trail.

just watch out for the horse poo otherwise an awsome trail to walk for the whole family. very well maintained.

START WITH THE RIM TRAIL if you are doing the 3-mile loop. That way you save the amazing views and waterfall experience to perk you up when you’re getting tired. Going the other way would be very anticlimactic. IF YOU ARE JUST DOING A QUICK OUT AND BACK and not doing the full loop, start with the north falls trail. Be warned—there are a good number of stone stairs from the trailhead to the north falls, and there is no handrail, so knees and hips are at their mercy. The trail CAN BE SLIPPERY and narrow and has a steep drop off in many places. If you have a fear of dogs, be aware that many people bring dogs, and there is not a lot of room to pass.

This is an amazing canyon that feels like an ancient jungle in places. We were lucky enough to see some fall leaves in early October.

PROS: Fairly easy hike; magical scenery; trail goes behind a waterfall; lots of wildlife that’s not particularly afraid of people.

CONS: Lots of foot traffic; lots of car traffic just a few feet away in places; lots of stairs at one end; slippery, narrow trail in places.

Very scenic, great for all ages!

Great Sunday morning trail for running. Plum tree on the way was an absolute delight. Pets on the trail are fun to interact with - always tempt me to get one !!

This is a beautiful place to take a hike or run through the woods with a fair amount of solitude during the week. Plan to meet horseback riders—my dog enjoyed meeting a few horses in a very controlled environment. Keeping dogs leashed is important here for the safety of the riders, horses and the pup!

Beautiful wooded hike. I found maps a bit confusing at first but found my way around. Really could have spent all day there. My dogs were well exercised when we got back to the car. Beautiful day.

flew in from Tulsa today and fell in love with this trail. I came back out of the trail head just at full dark and it was perfect.

cute small falls

Beautiful trails and falls but over populated. Sadly people are starting to leave trash behind and large groups are blocking paths often.

Amazing views!

Easy trail, great for families and on-leash dog walking. Draw backs were how busy it was, and parking. Overall, a very nice walk.

Great birding and wildlife watching. A little crowded though.

My favorite of all

Great. Except for tree size, it has the same cathedral feel as the Redwoods. Stay home. I don't wanna share.

this is my go-to trail when I need some forest time but don't have time to get out of the city. relatively quick and easy (with one steep incline section). depending on the time of year there's a nice little stream and great views.

love it! had a great time in the hot tub. we were very lucky that we didnt have to wait.

It’s in the shade and gorgeous! Saw South Falls and Lower South Falls.
