Beautiful easy hike. Nice clear water, with a few falls.

This a great hike for families. My kids (ages 6 and 10) handled it beautifully. The bridges are fun to cross and they enjoyed jumping from rock to rock in places. You may see climbers so look up!

A little bit challenging but very nice hike. There was snow on the trail and moody at some elevations so you have to walk carrefully.
We had fog at the first lake so we could not see much... but it's the game

September 15,2018 - Always a beautiful hike. There was snow on the trail at some elevations and trail was a bit muddy at some points. Traction was good for the most part though. We did not need the microspikes, but always a good idea to have them in these conditions. Heard lots of rock fall while at the upper lake. Careful if heading up the scree slopes to the cliff edge.

Nice, moderate hike. Not too busy during July! Worth a day trip to Peter Lougheed- you will more than likely see a mountain goat or two! Only complaint is that it wasn’t longer. This hike could easily be tacked on to another day hike while in the park.

Pretty walk through the woods. A tough scramble at the end to get close to the lake. The lake itself was nothing special. Especially after just seeing Moraine Lake!

Very beautiful with the colors of the trees! Loved it!

Such a beautiful hike! Not too hard to get up and such rewarding scenery. It was quite chilly and windy even in the middle of summer so bring a jacket in case. I will definitely be going back on this hike <3

This is a beautiful place for beginners and so family and kid friendly. All the little waterfalls make for a nice walk in the park and Photography.

Gorgeous! Colours are starting to change. Lots of people out yesterday. Short hike with amazing views. Steep ascend. Easy if fit but will still wind you. Take your time and enjoy. It’s short and spectacular!

Great short hike with the first km a steady slope but doable for most levels. Don’t rush it to the top as it is a fairly quick hike. Take a couple of rests and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Highly recommend it in early fall as you can see a celebration of colors! At the end of the rocky path (after the second mini-waterfall) there is a very small remainder of a glacier which is nice to see.

Short, but has great views! Definitely worth the hour and a bit to do! If I had enough time I would have sat and ate lunch while taking in the views. I started hiking at about 8:50am, not many people to run into at this time, then by the time we started heading back the people started coming.

This was a fun little hike. Make sure you take the proper trailhead out of there parking lot! There is an unmarked one along the creek that we almost took because there were so many people using it. The correct railhead is clearly marked. You have to cross the highway but after that it’s a lovely hike. Road noise disappears after the first hill. Lovely views! We brought a 2 1/2 year old and she completed the whole thing with no issues. There are a couple of little bridges and the waterfall at the end is really pretty. You can swim in the pool at the base of the waterfall but the water is ice cold!

Great fun to do the dog park and a big section of trail with the dog! Quite disappointed I couldn’t go right to the lake, dogs are prohibited (even on leash)

Great hike. It really had everything. Great views all around the lake. Beautiful fall colours are out in bloom.

Loved the waterfall and the first half of the loop. The ridge is eroded and not as well marked.

Trail is more of a path to the falls but beautiful area!!

Long trail as some people said. Still nice and you can see beautiful scenery though.

Start of trail (2-3km) is basically a wide dirt road/trail. Would be good for biking. Once you break away from that, where the trail splits to go to Karst Springs, you are on a beautiful trail. The scenery is fantastic. This is a very enjoyable easy hike.

been year but great easy hike for sure well worth it

We did this hike yesterday on a whim and it didn’t disappoint! We planned on going just to Lillian Lake but decided to go the full way. It took us about 1hr 45 min to Lillian lake and about another 40 minutes to Galatea Lake on the top. The first leg was very nice. A Moderate climb in spots, forested, waterfalls. Moderate to high activity with other hikers. The last leg from Lillian Lake to Galatea Lake was the most challenging; moderate to steep elevation the whole way with an area of rocks before the lake. Best views were from this area! Going down was easy, all downhill. Incredible views of the mountains. Cool temps at the top. Bear advisory for the area so bring your bear spray. Would recommend! Took us ~5 hours total climbing + lunch + photos + descent.

beautiful little lake! very short easy walk in. beware very busy during the summer or on weekends so go early :)

Low key for great reward

This is a great hike for beginners because it offers various terrain from a dirt path in the trees, to steep rocks and is only around 2 hours round trip. There is even a toilet at the top, no walls though, so if you wear a good pair of hiking boots or shoes and you will have no problem making it to the top. The drive in is a rough 14km but the view at the top makes it all worth it.

Easy trail. Took us 2 hours but we stopped at the end for half an hour and had some long photo stops plus watched the rock climbers. We took our shoes off and walked through the icy water to view the waterfall but it was so cold our feet hurt and it was not worth it. Better to climb up and look down at the waterfall.

Great hike with beautiful views. Elevation gain is achievable for all levels. We followed Mt. Rae trail beyond the cirque up to the glacier. Very pretty but poles are recommended if you want to go past the original hike.
