The trail itself I would give it five stars, but the trailhead parking situation I would give it zero stars. There is only enough spaces near the entrance for six to eight cars and there are no parking signs that line the road for a few hundred yards to the left and right of the entrance. I parked my car down the road a bit in front of a sign that said "No parking beyond this point". So I assumed that anything before the sign would be OK. When I got back from my hike, there was a $25 parking ticket left on my windshield. Going to try to dispute this.

Favorite hike in the area. Had the entire trail to myself. Interesting and peaceful.

We started on Nashoba Brook worked up to Spring Hill. Nashoba trails were nice and smooth and well marked. The Spring Hill portion was quite rocky and muddy resulting in a good workout.

Very nice trail. Well marked & signed. Courteous hikers. A bit rocky and lots of roots. Pay attention. Interesting sites along the way, too.

HikingGreat!

We did this trail counterclockwise. About 90% of the paths are flat with the exception being the minor climb up Punkatasset Hill which has nice views of the surrounding countryside in the winter. Recent snowmelt and rain mean that several stream crossings were overflowing and you had to rock hop to get across. The lime quarry and kiln were neat features. I'd do this trail again.

Lovely chilly foggy morning. Still have never seen the Sudbury River. Also took a side hike around Walden Pond for fun.

This was an absolutely lovely shorter trail nest to Hybid farm. Pretty woods, easy walk and very well blazed. We did not see anyone on our entire walk.

Added the Pond Loop around Walden Pond to make this about 8 miles. Well worth it. Parking lot was full, with cars on the road by 8:30 AM

Good hike on a crisp fall day. Good-sized hill to get things flowing early on, the rest is pretty easy. As Natalya mentioned below, the leaves make footing a little tricky on the downhills, but easy enough if you take your time.
