Awesome hike, albeit quick and easy.

Lots of steps at the top of this climb, but I really enjoyed it. I’m not in great shape, but was able to complete the climb without too much trouble. I felt pretty proud when I completed the climb, as it was a nearly 1000 ft increase in elevation. There is a bathroom towards the top of the trail, which was a nice convenience.

Very short and easy. Short hike for end of day to avoid the crowd.

Beautiful hike, not easy but worth the effort. Adding Emerald lake to this hike is recommended, only 1.6 miles extra. Only very crowded at the end at the climb on the falls.

challenging, at some points you're going up steps that are 1-2ft high. but the view is 100% worth it, and the lake is beautiful. don't go in it, tho, there are leeches!

Great wide path around the lake. No hills, super flat. Gorgeous scenery. We went at 6:30am on a Sunday and were one of a few people there. Great time to go before the crowds.

Very easy and beautiful. Keep walking for more of a challenge and an even better view.

Amazing trail with plenty of water view and river trail!

Good, fairly easy hike. Bring plenty of water. Weather changes quickly. Very pretty views of the valley.

Fantastic trail, but straight up to start. Don’t be daunted, great hiking after you get up off the canyon floor. Some great views, lots a shaded areas and very few bugs. Nice hike, but dedicate a good half day and go early in day if hiking mid-summer season.

So beautiful

Crowded, but beautiful. Enjoyed the beauty!

Amazing scenery! Great for beginners

Super busy, great sights. Start early

This was a very exciting day on the trail - we saw a black bear and two snakes! The lookout/outcroppings were stunning.

As others have said, very tough parking depending on that day you attempt your hike. Also, you are very exposed so don't get stuck too far out if any storms are in the area. At 2 miles out, it gets pretty steep and really rocky. That might be the point to stop with kids. Stunning views.

they don't allow dogs so if you plan on bringing your first baby don't go here

This trail was stunning, did this trail on my trip in November so everything was covered in snow so it was gorgeous, a lot of overlooks with pretty views and the lakes themselves were a sight to see completely frozen over. Definitely a winter wonderland! And not difficult to get to either even in Winter.

Beautiful lake. Reading the map I was worried about the % grade, but it was easy. Took pictures at most rock outcroppings. Enjoyable and great views.

Finally found parking at Glacier Gorge Trailhead. Hiked out to Alberta Falls and then headed back to the trail junction and headed to Bear Lake. Walked the .5 mile loop around Bear Lake. Took the shuttle back to Glacier Gorge. Absolutely beautiful hike. Took a lot of pictures. Not a pro hiker. Uphill stretches are tiring but well worth it.

I don’t know why the app says this trail is easy. It’s moderate-hard and the end is very steep. A beginner can do it, but still.
Great views though. I would do it again.

I made it halfway up Timberline Falls, but after seeing 2 gals above me slip and get hurt climbing the wet boulders I decided to stop and enjoy hiking another day. Kudos to those brave climbers. Still a great challenging hike with amazing views! I will enjoy the photos of those that made it to Sky Pond

Very easy beginner trail but so beautiful everyone will want to go. I walked Bear lake trail first then took Alberta Falls Route. A lot of people on weekends.

Great hike. Decently steep towards the top before the lake but gem lake is beautiful. Went further to balanced rock which was an 8 mile round trip and had some good views along the way. Would hike again!!

Right off road to alpine visitor center, parking can be tough.

Saw elk across the way at the start. Saw numerous marmots.

Views were great from the get-go. Just different being in the tundra. If you go to RMNP then do one tundra hike, this may be true easiest trail option. . Don't even have to do the whole trail, as the views might be the best in the beginning.

Part of the RMNP but start outside of park. Started at donut shop on the way to trail. Great donuts but made hiking a little tougher.

This hike is different than being in the RMNP, the rocks-boulder different shapes and sizes. Made for numerous little caves, which the 2 and 5 year old loved.

On the way up, get some good views of Estes park.

There is a actual toilet near the top. My 5 yr old loved this!!

Lake is very ok. Also leaches in the lake, so don't get all the way in. But plenty of exploring and climbing near the lake for the kids.

Did this hike with wife and kids (2 and 5). 5 yr old hiked off and on.

Awesome hiking but not for the faint of heart. Be well acclimated before heading out on this beautiful hike.
