Super Easy trail, great for family.

It's very steep steep towards the top which can be a challenge. Overall great trail though!

I love this trail

crazy elevation... coming from Phoenix AZ...loved it.

This is awesome and was a demanding hike which I will not forget

Took my boys on this trail. It was a great beginner trail for them to get started on. We went on a Thursday evening and there was only one other group of campers on the other side of the lake. We found a good spot in the trees and setup our hammocks. The weather was beautiful and surprisingly, the mosquitos were minimal. I would definitely come here again.

Great for trail running! Mostly shaded by trees and a clear, defined trail. Keep running past big rock towards Rudy’s flat it’s beautiful.

One of my favorite hikes in Utah County. I've probably hiked it 20 times. The Horsetail Falls are spectacular but you need to be very careful on the rock. It's incredibly slippery.

This is labeled an out and back, but more accurate is an up then down. 2 miles straight up with maybe 2 or 3 very short flat sections.

Coming down is no picnic with old knees.

Short and sweet! I wouldn’t rate this hard at all, there were plenty of young children and families coming and going. Beautiful walk and beautiful falls. We love this!

Short but fun!

Nice hike, but you have to really plan well, because the tracks are so well shown. The aren’t many and getting lost can be easy. The area is very pretty. Use good hiking shoes.
I have to add that you will have to pay 43$ to take the “tram” (cable).

My favorite! It pushes you without killing you♥️

i love this trail but im currently in the hospital because of my last hike there with a broken femur and pelvis to not get into too much detail. the rock is extremely slippery. do no get close to edge if not secure, do not walk on wet rock if not secure. this is one of the most amazing hikes in my life but i almost died because i underestimated some slippery rock

great hike for the experienced. Steep, relentless incline to AMAZING view points. Very good work out, hike up and run down. **MAKE SURE to fill your water at the spring about a mile in!! It's delicious and cold!!

Great hike we did in 2016. Can be strenuous for those not in shape. Kids ages were from 8 to 13. Go on the early summer when the waterfall is at its best!

Awesome little hike to a beautiful spot where I imagine during rainy season a gorgeous waterfall would spill off the mountain! Lots of stairs at first, followed by some mild shaded trails leading up to the roughly 80 foot high waterfall. The official trail ends here, though there are other trails that branch off of this one. If you're up for a little adventure, a steep hike / climb up the side of the mountain yields absolutely INCREDIBLE views of Sandy / Draper / Salt Lake City! Take plenty of water to drink - today's hike was at 97 degrees.

Love it! Beautiful scenery!!

Thus trail is beautiful and well maintained.
ylThe path is worn and easy yo navigate. I went around 7:30 and it was already busy.
There are a lot of hikers, runners and bikes on the trail. I didn't see any horses.
The elevation gain definitely manageable. There are several ups and downs to give you breaks.
Lots of shade with only a few exposed areas.
Some of the plants are already to starting to change color.

I'll be running this one again.

Saturday hike was amazing. A lot of hikers on the trail. Some of trail had water from recent rain Falls were beautiful!

I love this trail, it's so easy to get to and doesnt take you all day to do it. Trail is fairly easy with a slight incline but doable. The only downside is this trail gets busy, runners, bikers, sometimes even horseback riders, so keep ya eyes out.

As someone who doesn’t love steep or strenuous hikes, this was perfect! It’s a rockier trail in the beginning but pretty flat and you get to water really fast. Brought the dogs who had a great time swimming as we made our way around the lake. It smells like pine and there were Lilly pads on the lake and a beautiful mountain backdrop! Also super secluded, although we went on a Sunday afternoon. Honestly loved it and would happily return!

Beautiful when the flowers are blooming early summer/Late June

This was a pretty hike. It’s shaded most of the way, and has a few beautiful look outs. We couldn’t find the waterfall, but we didn’t look too hard. I’d do it again, but I much prefer hiking to waterfalls or lakes or along creeks.

My favorite! We stop off at little spots for hikes along the by way.

Beautiful hike. Hardly saw anyone else on trail. A bit confusing when you get closer to the waterfall but we were able to find a nice shady spot near the water.

Great hike. Many trails, easy to get off on a different path

I love this trail. Trail has slight incline most of the way but I think it's a good trail for everyone. Only downside is its a very busy busy trail, it's best to come early to avoid collisions.
