The parking is very confusing. There are no parking signs at the entrance and the other parking area down the road was blocked off. I talked to some locals there and they said it was fine to park at the entrance and that the sign was only to discourage people. Hmm...

Also, there is a requirement to wear fluorescent orange due to the area being welcome to hunters. Lots of folks out there in bright orange carrying rifles and I didn’t feel safe running around without any bright colors on.

I won’t be going back.

Happy running,
Ultra Ryan

Lots of rocks with the leaves down makes it difficult for footing, wet in areas but nice trail against the river

Great trail. Well maintained and marked. I would have given it a five if I’d run into less people along the trail.

Lots of ups and downs . A bit challenging with leaves covering rocks and stumps. Have your hiking boots on and take it slow in the Fall.

Very good walking path especially when leaves are falling it’s pretty

Nice easy walk with water views. Great place for small children. Great for a family day for all to be outside.

Nice walk close to home. Great place to with the family or the dogs. Lots to explore.

Great trail for hiking. Bring a map. Well defined trail but intersects with numerous other trails within Arcadia. Lots of options to make hike as long as you want. Easily can do loop just around Pond, about 1.5 miles total. Great views. Wear your orange during hunting season. Good parking lot.

Lincoln woods is a gem of a place one can feel a deep woods experience even though a major highway is always less than 2 miles away .

Very easy to find trailhead, super easy to find your way, very well marked. A good trail for beginning trail runners, just enough rocks, roots and wet leaves and to make it interesting. No steep or long climbs, just enough to get the blood moving. Pretty wooded area.

Nice, beautiful trail however the white blazes leading to the Falls could be marked better; used the All Trails map to help us with that!!!

from September to February, wearing orange is required. this is a hunting area.

It was so nice for me and my dog

Awesome.. easy trail.. great for walking, jogging, dogs

Great place to hike, my family and I love it!

Gorgeous trails. Saying that, nothing is marked and you could easily get lost. Follow the GPS trail on AllTrails. I would not recommend this trail for small children.

lovely trail. great in snow. done it many times. narrow & hilly. good workout. total trail length including out-and-back is more like 7 miles/about 2.5 hrs. Only drawback is no streams crossing. there's pond at end of green trail. blue trail crosses/overlaps a road for 50 yards. also can do cemetery part of trail not on map, but good. best trail in sk imo.

had first date with my girlfriend here. awesome spot.

A perfect cloudy October day! Beautiful!

This was a great trail. Pretty easy terrain (rocks, roots, bridges). Well marked, went after several days of rain and no major muddy spots. Went with kids and dog and we all enjoyed. Took about an hour with exploring and stopping.

Nice trail. Rocky. Dogs are allowed with leash. Great view of Jamestown bridge. The beach section (0.25 mile section) was full of shells which was hard on the pups paws. Last mile of trail is narrow, but overall nice trail.

Trail was not clear when we reached the dirt road. I agree that “ easy” rating would be an issue for anyone not in shape for climbing.

My absolute favorite place to run through the trails. There is the Botanical Center in the park that is breath taking. The park is very clean and there are many different types of trees to see.

What an excellent trail!!
I was in the mood Sunday September 30 for a moderate trail and decided on this. I was glad to have dressed appropriately with my hiking boots and trekking poles as there are lots of rocks, roots, water hazards and gradients to challenge me. I did the 6 mile as I didn't have time for the 8. Go early and stay on the orange trail (8 mile). The trail is well marked. Pay attention to your footing!! Enjoy!

Great walk. the south end of it does get slightly tricky so wear good sneakers. I started from the middle went north then did the entire length of the trail. it took me about 3 hours. but I did stop at the University there and walked the campus which was maybe 30 mins. I would definitely do it again

Beautiful views on the water. Friendly trail to walk.

This loop was more of an Easy Hike than Moderate personally, lots of VERY easy terrain, there were no gains or descents that required even paying attention to footing, the grade transitions were all smooth and easily navigated with not even an adjustment in walking speed required. Yes the terrain can be rocky and there are a number of roots to contend with, but neither of these were problematic at all. Rocks and roots were all less than maybe 6 inches tall at max for the most part, no scrambling, didn't even need trekking poles. We got lapped by a trailrunner a few times, and we saw children, elderly and clearly novice hikers having zero issues with the terrain itself.

Trail markings at some of the junctions and diversions were a little lacking and did require consultuing the map, but in 4.4+ miles, the 4 or 5 times this was required wasn't that much of a big deal.

All main / mapped trails were open. Only a very small handful of offshoot and unnamed trail loops were closed for habitat recovery as of 09/23/2018.

Would have been a 5 star "Easy" hike if it weren't for the few issues with trail markers not being placed at all the junctions/diversions.

Great trails! Wonderful for dogs!

I have rode here several times ,with out gps easy to get lost or looped back far from parking spot but never really lost most trails come out to main rd or run across other people.
