Beautiful place. I took a left on to a single track trail after a few hundred feet of gravel trail. It paralleled the highlighted rout above and let to the same tower lookout. Then continued on the m&m trail to Hartford rez no 6 for a swim!

Nice trail with the exception of broken glass particularly at the top. Not sure why kids can't take beer cans rather than bottles. Enjoyable and an easy hike even for a 14 yr old dog.

Great hike with wonderful views! It is my go to hike when family visits and wants to go.

Great view at the top (though there are trees so it's not 360). We went when there was a ton of rain so the trail got flooded (we were literally creek hiking so the return was slippery). There's a lot of rocks on this trail so you have to wear good shoes. I would also definitely make sure you are wearing hiking gear because we saw a couple snakes at the top (so don't sit idly at the top...they creep up behind you! lol). Otherwise, this was just amazing. It took us 2 and a half hours total to hike and 30 minutes at the top so we spent 3 hours there.

Great to hike up or around! Rock walls not required to climb but climable. Doable hiking for all ages! Perfect for families! Also, the trail that takes you through the side of the mountain has little cut off unmarked trails that take you to the clean, swimmable and fishable water! It's not bad to camp either!

Always a beautiful trail. A few lookout points and pretty walks.

It's a lovely trail, a rather steep climb, may need to use your hands to climb up some of the trail. It's located near a campsite, which will give you a moderate to high trafficked area, depending on time of day. Definitely worth my time, the views were beautiful. It took roughly 5 hours, with some breaks at the look out points. The hike can be longer than 5 hrs if you choose to go further through the trail. I'll post the pictures that I have.

Nice quick trail run up to a beautiful view. Ran from Kimball Union to Plainfield Elementary to the Ledges and back and got 5 miles round trip. Followed the blue markings without any trouble (red at the top). Looking forward to trying more of the trails.

Very impressed by the overlook and not to hard to access for beginners and intermediate hikers!

Short, fun hike up the mountain to the very scenic Heublein Tower. Definitely go early to avoid crowds and leave some time to explore the Heublein Tower complex.

my favorite view of Brattleboro/New Hampshire

Nice views at top. There are shortcut trails between the switchbacks which make the hike more interesting and difficult. Great hike in winter snow.

busy usually, but a fun hike up to views of downtown Brattleboro

Lots of friendly dogs and their people! Nice hike and can be done in an hour or two with a great view of Brattleboro.

Loved the trail- very easy walking as it’s used for Mt. Biking a lot however lots of little trails throughout and it’s easy to get turned around because trails aren’t marked the best. Only steep part is right before top which wasn’t bad at all for a complete 360 view. Hiked with baby in back- good for family and kids.

Beautiful place. First quarter of a mile gets your heart pumping. The rest is a lovely stroll through the woods. Views are wonderful.

we watched the fourth of July fireworks from the top. it was beautiful

I’m so glad I found this trail! It offers the views on every turn. From open vistas on the ridge to interesting rock formations and interesting and non monotonous forest.
I started counter clock wise and both myself and two other families took a wrong turn off the trail on the first half mile of trailhead. Maybe there should be an additional trail marker. But if you pay more attention that we did today, you won’t get lost.
I saw some people with dogs but not sure how dogs manage climbing the boulders part. The elevation gain is very gentle and climbing parts make the trail interesting. Red trail portion is a little wet and offers some magical deep forest feel.
Saw a wild turkey and a deer.

Not too challenging of a hike, but enough to get your heart pumping. great view at the top.

Just watch out for black snakes, ended up practically on top of one sunning itself on the trail and he was NOT happy.

Would definitely hike again.

Easy, quick up and down, trails were clean and clearly marked. This trail is great for families with a lot of nice big rocks to stop and rest at. Or great for a quick trail run. I would say it is on the easy side of moderate.

Nice short hike. Lots of greens and nice views from the top. Perfect for a family with a picnic (picnic tables at the top) or for a runner looking for some elevation.

Definitely an amazing hike. If you’re new to trails the first .25 miles is a bit much because it’s steep but it’s really beautiful. Seeing the hueblin tower at the end is a perfect edition to the trail.

Love this hike. It’s pretty short and not very difficult. Like others have stated, some of the rock scrambles are a little tough for the pups, for ours anyway. Overall I would rate this Trail as easy. Beautiful views at sunset rock!

Super view and wide trail with switchbacks! Great for families and dogs that can do the 1000 ft climb. I go every year!

Great view worth the hike. Good botanizing along he way.

Great view cool caves

Quick trip up to the top, well marked nicely maintained, beautiful woods
