Easy and mildly underwhelming. Fun little cave in you’re small enough to wiggle yourself into it. Amazing views if you go under the arch and walk past all the boulders.

Short and sweet.

One of the worst maintained trails I’ve ever hiked. Basically brush the entire way with 34 creek crossings. The trail isn’t marked, which isn’t a big issue, but the trail just up and disappears countless times. My husband and I hiked this right after a huge rainstorm which was also crazy muddy. Not strenuous at all, but a very frustrating trail. The falls were pretty, however, your effort is spent better elsewhere.

couple on small waterfalls rock formations along the way to the suspension bridge .well marked trail

great trail very well marked

*THIS IS AN UNMARKED UNOFFICIAL TRAIL* don’t get worried if the stream is dry as it runs under ground for a little over half the hike. Could be complicated with kids and after rainfall but this gem is worth the hassle.

As of January 8, 2019, this trail along with tunnel ridge, Indian creek and rock bridge are all closed until further notice. We came to visit for the weekend and the road was blocked.

Great outing for the family (kids ages 6 - 14). Pretty waterfall with knee deep pool for kids to play in.

Beautiful arch with a waterfall. Went a off-trail, making it a more moderate than the easy rating given by AllTrails. Lots of downed trees and slippery spots. Regardless, of the route you take, the arch and waterfall are neat to see.

We loved the trail. Very easy. Seen waterfalls, and the sensory was beautiful. Yes we will be going back.

Great short and easy walk. Our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed the trail too. The arch represents its name well. It’s pretty small, as arches go, but worth the short trek. There’s a memorial marker at the trailhead for a hiker who was killed in a fall here so exercise caution. The trail is well marked and seemingly trafficked a good bit. The washed out section of road (from previous reviews) is no longer an issue. The Forest Service has apparently fixed it. We didn’t encounter one.
We were here between Christmas and New Year’s so there was little or no foliage but it was still beautiful.
There is a parking lot and pit toilets at the trailhead. Rest room was closed due to a government shut down though.

Great short and easy walk. It’s mostly paved. Good lofty views of the surrounding valley and distant rock formations. Our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed the trail too. Absolutely gorgeous falls. A hidden gem! Far bigger than I expected, and in a gorgeous clearing. Granted it had just rained a lot, so the falls were probably bigger than in dry seasons. Easy to get behind the falls and up on top. The trail is just vague paths made by other people. Be prepared to get your feet wet, you cross the creek 10 or so times depending on which paths you take. It's too deep to avoid wet boots! But very worth it.

From the parking, go past the one lane Bridge, past the bathroom, and down the road 50 steps or so to the right is the trailhead. If you follow the creek, you can't miss the falls. There are many paths, my advice is to take the most straightforward one, even if you have to cross the creek. Your feet are gonna get wet no matter what, and you come to a lot of dead ends if you don't follow the creek closely. Gorgeous hike, not very strenuous. A little over a mile and a half one way.

Beautiful trail with a little bit of everything. we will definitely be back when things are in bloom.

We went after it had snowed so things were a little slick but if it was a pretty day this trail would’ve been a piece of cake. The arch and creation falls did not disappoint!

Went hiking a couple weeks ago. It hadn’t rained in a while so the falls were kind of disappointing, I would recommend going not long after it has rained! I would definitely go back to Copperas again!

A great hike -- you get both a really cool arch (a true "bridge") and a waterfall in one hike!

A really good hike but can be challenging at times

Awesome experience for a shorter hike!!

If you have kids or just a short time in the gorge, you can do Angels Window, Whistling Arch and Sky Bridge and see 3 arches without much time, travel,or effort.

this trail is closex

easy peasy

My husband and I completed this hike on 11/3/18. Beautiful fall foliage, crowded place, limited parking, lots of doggies, and not a super easy hike. It's best if you go in and out on the same trail nearest to the bathrooms. The waterfall is gorgeous and the hike is beautiful. I would do it again. I wouldn't recommend going if it's rainy or snowy, it might get very slick.

Nice mix of woods and ridge line. Pretty good climbs on back half on way to Pinch em Tight. The arch itself is great.

The falls are great once you get there. The hike there is kinda lame and the creek crossings become monotonous.

We did this hike on a weekday in late October so crowds were not an issue.
The trail was much better than expected with great views and the Arch was very striking. There was a fair amount of uphill in the way out.
The Kommer ridge and Rough trail afforded us some great views and overlooks if the gorge.

nice view and good hike for afternoon with the family. It's a good little hike

See review for hazardous water filled pot hole on Princess Arch review 2 days ago. Always do both. Both Easy.

Two days ago there was and likely still is an enormous water filled pot hole. We had AWD Pilot and went through on the more shallow R side going in and did just fine. But would not recommend if you don't have 4 WD truck or SUV. A couple sedans did go through but entire hoods were mud covered and surprised it didn't kill the engine. We always love Princess and Chimney Top Rock.
