This is a nice paved trail that goes along Poison Creek. There’s a spur (if you could call it that) that runs parallel to the trail and joins back up shortly. It goes to a couple shoe trees which is cool. The trail also goes past murals, sculptures, and a sound garden. I went to the end and back about halfway before branching off toward Main Street.

Great path for a Sunday afternoon stroll on the backside of town. My girls (teenagers) really enjoyed the trickling stream with red algae, murals and sculptures and “sound garden.” And we ended up stopping at the park for a pickup game of sand volleyball. Runs parallel to Deer Valley Dr. so there can be a fair amount of traffic noise. Most other patrons were polite but some skaters, bikers whiz by without calling out.

Good trail but hot and dry. Also watch for rattle snakes! And bring water.

Great trail for individuals or family biking, jogging, or walking. Flat, paved, well maintained by the City of Spanish Fork. Follows the Spanish Fork River and adjacent to some beautiful farmland. Very accessible and lots of shade. We've hauled our bicycles from another city to ride on this trail several times and have also walked most of the route. Restrooms available at either ends in Spanish Oaks park or by the ball fields. Really nice urban trail.

Smooth ride, very straight and level for the most part. hooks up with legacy trail for a little while in Farmington, then splits apart in Centerville. Scenery varies from city, to suburbs, to ranches and farms and back again. lots of streets to cross which slows you down a bit. very well kept!

Great trail for biking or walking. Pretty flat.

Nicely paved clean walking trail. Great for strollers! Kind of busy in the evenings and the occasional asshole biker

Excellent trail for a nice stroll, run or bike ride. Today, I biked it from Vivian Park to Utah Lake State park. It only took a few hours -- it's pretty much all downhill. It's a great trail to hit for a workout while enjoying nature.

paved, which is nice. great for running or biking. not much of an actual hike, though, so don't get your hopes up if you're expecting a hike. it's got some beautiful views, and there were lots of people.

Excellent trail for biking!

Love this long stretch of trail for running and biking.

Great off leash fun for dogs but not in heat of summer unless you are willing to carry a lot of extra water. There is no water at all on this trail in the summer and as mentioned in prior review trails are mostly fully exposed. I hike and bike this frequently in fall and winter because of easy access. In the spring it can be muddy ( but not this year). I have seen moose here more than once - mostly in the winter months.

great for the whole family.

I looked up the trail for road biking. The TH start is all gravel and dirt for about a mile then it hits pavement. So if you only have a street bike don’t start here. Other than that he trail was a nice. I got on about 0800 and there were some runners and bikers but not enough to bog the trail.

Started at the beginning near Utah Lake, the first 2 miles is very nice then the roots have made the trail bumpy from Geneva Rd to State street. The next section is boring until you get to the mouth of the Canyon I stopped a Mt Timp Park. It is very lovely there with full rest room facilities and picnic tables and grass to relax on. Quite a few people and dogs on the trail. I would recommend riding very early in the morning or on a week day overall a nice little ride

We rode along Echo Reservoir into Coalville on June 9, 2018. Most of this trail was not paved, and turned out to be harder than I expected due to that. Probably if it was paved it would have been easier. The views are really nice. Keep in mind that at least this part of the trail is sparsely shaded, so it gets HOT!

Great for kids and bike riding.

We did the section entirely in the canyon. We started at Vivian Park and went to Canyon View Park. Starting in this direction, you lose elevation, and will gain it all on the way back. There were only two small sections that I had to get off and walk the bike, but mostly the elevation gains are very gradual, so you can easily do this trail if you are moderately in shape (like me). Also, this particular section is nice anytime of the day as it seems much of it remains shady.

By far one of the best trails you can do over and over and over again. No matter where you start on the train and where you choose to end, you’ll have a refreshing experience. Being able to trail along the provo river through any span of its journey is relaxing, enjoyable and worth it. I’ve done the full trail many times, definitely a more strenuous journey to do it all. WORTH IT

For the most part this trail is easy even for someone like me who is not really in the best shape. I rode my bike on this trail. We started at the corner of 1700 E and Canyon Road (GPS: 40.15392, -111.57889), and ended past the golf course. I did not ride all the way back to the place we started at. I enjoyed this trail, though starting from the point we started at, it was a little confusing to realize the trail doubled as a sidewalk and was right alongside the road where houses were. It was only maybe 2/3 into the trail, the trail was a 'trail' and not passing in front of people's houses. I enjoyed this trail and would do it again.

I like to access this from 2200 West which is just east of the airport by road bike. I hate when the bugs are thick, when wearing sunscreen the bugs stick to your arms. Only a few restrooms.

Good trail system for beginners or kids. Smooth gravel surface, well maintained, marked with many access points. You can easily ride from Park City on the Rail Trail and find it.

Biked 05/26/18 from 7:30 AM. Terrific time. I biked almost the entire way from end to end, beginning in Lehi, at a casual pace. It had some great views, particularly once the trail began to press against the mountains. There were lots of fellow travelers but everyone was kind.

Best scenic trail with ebikes! Good place for fishing too, got some fish so big that snapped our line.
