My wife and I walked it with a 5 and 6 year old. An easy walk to a nice Cafe overlooking the river and waterfall. I continued on alone to the waterfall and back, which was not suitable for young kids.. An amazing place..must see!
Muy bonito desde el principio hasta el final. Fácil toda la caminata excepto la subida a la cascada.

magnifique randonnée et la récompense est sublime ! chaussure de rando vivement conseillé !! ne pas prendre la facilité dans le choix du chemin valait le coup, ça m'a offert de très jolis point de vue sur la vallée de Gavarnie. Une fausse manip ma enregistré la trace mais je suis évidemment redescendu .
This one is a real beauty! From Gavarnie village to the Hôtel du Cirque, the journey is relatively easy without any challenging steeps. Direct, clear route. From the Hôtel to the foot of the grand cascade, strongly recommend to follow the stream as a route. Much gentler and easier instead of the main route that many hikers follow. If you’re not driving and looking for a way to get here, there’s bus 965 that stops at key towns along the way like Tarbes, Lourdes etc.
Chemin raide mais ça vaut vraiment le coup
perfect hike for people to escape the crowded path filled by tourists! Path near the waterfall is little slippery due to small rocks
