the waterfall was very pretty! definitely worth the ride to Atlanta; however, there REALLY needs to be more markers on the trail because I got turned around! there were many little trails to go off on but I had a hard time manuevering they it! thankfully I would run across other people and they would tell me which way to go!

if you want a quick verdant getaway in the midst of urban sprawl this will do

Quite loud with surrounding traffic, which can be expected since it is inside the perimeter. Very easy to walk however the trails were littered with garbage, which shows lack of care on both the city and the visitors. Probably won’t visit again, but don’t regret visiting completely.

Good easy hike. Once you're down to the river you can go off trail and it gets way more challenging!

trail running

Very steep hills, I wouldn't classify it as "trail running" but the views are really nice! Beautiful in the mornings especially.

Great neighborhood walk/running trail around a large pond.

Fun trail with lots of options great trees in rock outcrops plenty of parking with picnic matches

Short hills, nice views - particularly in the fall/winter. Hike takes you to the foundation of an old house by the river. Upstream takes you through a bamboo forest and then a little bouldering to get another nice view just south of 285. When the water is low you can get pretty far across the river. Snakes commonly seen at the river edge and on the rocks in the river.

Nice trails for running. Good ground. Interspersed loops to go and loopback around as long as you want to go. Cool creeks and little falls, plus big granite boulders to play on. So glad I made a pitstop here during my Thursday errands. Will be back

good short trail. a lot of the trails wind up in people's backyards

good trail

This is a beautiful jewel inside the perimeter that’s a wonderful spot for trail run, hike, walk, or photo shoot.

Came here for the Sweep the Hooch event and stayed to walk the trail. Absolutely gorgeous, even on a rainy day. Perfect escape in the middle of the city.

the waterfall is beautiful

Decent, quick loop with average elevation change. Went solo, but would be better if you wanted to do a little picnic or something with folks as there are a couple nice fields.

good distance ...beautiful trail ...an actual nature trail & not concrete walking path.
will do this one again.

Great "get away" in the middle of a busy urban area. Easy trail, pretty lake and nice trail through the trees.

Sweet, quiet walk with cool history

We like to walk here as a family as it is quite close to home and don’t need to drive. The dog loves it as well. Small trail network but can include it in longer runs in the neighborhood as not technical but gets the heart pumping on a nice small climb

Good for older adults as seating is available .

Pretty fun, didn’t find the waterfall, but overall a cool trail with lots of neat rocks!

We visited this short & easy trail on a beautiful fall day. The parking was very convenient (an entire lot), which we appreciated. Since it was in the middle of the area, it was thoughtful of them to do that.

The trail itself wasn't too difficult. The waterfall comes pretty quickly once you start the trail. That part was very serene and we enjoyed it. The rest of the trail is a loop. Because it hasn't been raining much, the creek part was a little underwhelming, but I'm sure once there is more water it's great.

One of the main reasons for not giving the trail 4 stars was because of the lack of signage. There were small wooden pointers to tell you what trail you were going toward, but no colored markers to keep you on track.

Overall, this trail is good for a quick hike that includes a nice waterfall not too far from the city.

Make this a 4.2 mile! Start at King Rd NW/Northside Drive walking to the park, then complete the loop and return.

Beautiful trail. Watch out for poison ivy near stream.

I actually enjoyed the incline that this trail offered! The scenery was beautiful as well. I did notice that it doesn't appear that the park is maintained very regularly. There was a trash can overflowing onto the ground and lots of garbage around it. You have to park in the larger area before you drive down the narrow road to begin the trail. It's in a quiet, neighborhood as well.

This trail is beautiful! It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Plenty of trees and some light wildlife along the trail. The trail loops around a beautiful lake that has great spots for pictures. Trail was easy for the most part, some areas a bit steep with tree stumps but overall not bad. Enjoyed it. Also, parking is free

$3 to park, just fyi because we didn't realize before we went. It also seems to be a popular spot especially for swimming. The main walkway is a wide gravel road which is good for everyone, then there are a few side trails that are nice but that can also get pretty steep, a good workout and nice view, would do again.
