Spectacular!

Not the best trail for views, but great otherwise. No snowshoes needed on this outing, though microspikes are highly encouraged. Trail conditions were mixed, some dry stretches, some snowy and some icy. This trail would probably be best in fall when the aspens turn, or as a connector to other higher trails and summits in the area. We ultimately dubbed this "300 Crossings of 3 Mile Creek" as we crossed the creek more times than we could remember! Great day on trail :)

Moderate hike, great views, a likelihood of seeing wildlife. Free!

I hiked to Lily Mountain on 11/3 and walked through a winter wonderland! There was only one group ahead of me on the trail and I am grateful for their footprints! In the snow this was certainly a bit more work but still a beautiful trail! I would certainly recommend having micro spikes, especially once you get closer to the top. The scramble at the top was worth the whole hike. I would recommend leaving your backpack or whatever towards the bottom of the scramble so you aren't off-balance as you climb up. There are a few spots i lost the trail, but found my way back to it. Having the map on the app was helpful!

Great views. Lovely wildflowers. Plenty of spots to stop for rest on the steeper parts. We were at Panorama Point for sunset (driving up) earlier this week and heard a mountain lion snarling!
Keep your dogs on a leash for sure! Also, if you’re going to bag the dog poo, take the bag with you! Leaving the bagged poo defeats the purpose of cleaning up after your pet!

Amazing! I agree to go clockwise like everyone else said. It was a pretty steep incline, but after that it was not bad at all. The views were absolutely stunning.

Good for a local front range trail.. some hard packed snow near panorama.

Gorgeous trail with a variety of different scenery along the way. Breathtaking landscapes, easy to follow, some decent hills to hike.

Beautiful, relatively taxing hike through the canyon with spectacular views. Entire hike is along the river. 6 miles to second bridge. Good morning hike if you’re up and about early, otherwise plan for 1/2 day hike - roughly 4-5 hours - if you go to second bridge.

Decent hike that starts with a mild incline, then fluctuates with ups and downs. Nice mellow hike, no real view points. Good for staying close to Denver. Some of the trails are blocked off so it was easy to get turned around, navigating with AllTrails was needed to get to the right place.

perf.

So beautiful! The trail is a little hard to find at one point,..you have to climb over some rocks on your right instead of trying to cross a creek with a hastily placed log. Spikes are good to have!

It had some nice views. We went at the end of October and it was pretty cold so bring jackets. Some snow was off the trail but not on the trail. Not very difficult hike.

Awesome hike, i took it up to Logan Peak in the snow and enjoyed the whole hike. It is non-stop beauty. Also, my ski goggles fell off of my backpack about 5 miles in, it is probably a longshot but if anyone finds them please contact me at 5806564957. This trail is a must hike, and is well built

Amazing views. Inclines kick your butt a little bit but the views on the top are worth it.

So beautiful- if you start in the second lot, the climb is steeper. Got a bit confused following the map, because the upper loop was closed in places.

Snow/ice on the trail about 2.5 miles in. No fall color left but really peaceful trail

This trail was definitely hard! It is uphill the whole way up and continues to get steeper as you reach the top. The views are absolutely amazing. It got extremely cold and windy towards the last stretch of the trail so wear warm clothes! I would also recommend hiking boots and poles. There are some parts with gravel that were slippery. There was some snow up there but not a lot. Would definitely do it again!

If you’re looking for a peaceful hike through a forest with some stunning views of peaks but don’t want to give up a lazy Saturday, this hike is perfect. Not too far from Denver and a good workout!

Amazing view at the top, best trail we have done as far as diverse scenery. Will definitely do this one again but will do the Devils Playground turnoff.

I agree with going clockwise so then you get the panoramic stopping point to have a snack close to the end.

In my opinion, this trail is a lot harder than moderate for a relatively “in shape” adult. It is a steady incline the entire way to D.P. with some very steep portions that are rock/gravel. Trail is relatively easy to follow.

Of course, the views along the way are priceless and 100% worth the journey. Approximately 8-9 miles round trip, depending how much wandering you do once at the top. We averaged around 1 hour per mile. We are from Illinois and the altitude had our lungs working pretty hard!

Overall 4/5. Would try again with better preparation.

Unbelievable rock formations! Easy valley hike until you get to the base of the Crags. But worth every step!

Great hike! Did get steep at some parts but the view at the top is amazing. You must go all the way to the top —you won’t regret it!

We hadn’t expected the snow to not have melted (silly Kansan mistake) but the trail was great. We started at the trailhead and walked to panorama point had a snack and walked back. Well marked trail, beautiful views. Took us probably 2.5 hours but we stopped for 20-30 min at panorama point.

Really nice hike. It was a little slick in parts due to snow on the ground...it was so nice in Denver I forgot about the recent snow! The scenery is lovely all along the trial.

The BEST hike, I did it in July in 3 days and it was the hardest but most fulfilling thing I have ever done in my life.

Get a good water filter, tent, rain gear (a must), the usual. We had to have a beat canister when we went and it was SO heavy, and doesnt get much lighter throughout the trip due to "bring it in bring it out." Next time we will use those bear bag type deals, much lighter and you're still able to rent those.

Its amazing, I am not in the best shape but not in bad shape and it was hard but not discouraging by any means! Have fun!!!

Beautiful views wherever you go! Challenging backpacking!

good hike and good views. foliage was past its peak, but not the trail's fault!

well blazed and we'll kept

The reward at the end of this hike is so worth it. You get a 360 degree view! Breathtaking! The hike is moderate but if your not use to the altitude there are small spots that can be difficult. Rest take your time, enjoy the quiet and beauty along the way.
