Start and end are okay but too much of this route is along pretty boring roads - lots of missed opportunities to take more interesting footpaths.

Really beautiful, got to see loads of gems in Nottingham city centre which I wouldn’t have found for a while otherwise. I got lost a couple of times following the map but the description from each checkpoint is spot on. Loved knowing a bit of the history as well.

Flat walk on an open new built barrage, with the Bristol Channel one side and the Bay fresh water lake. So you get plenty of fresh air, walking along the feet path and closed off road way to vehicles. Many sea birds and views of the mountains in the distance. Its also possible to walk across the pebbled beach to Penarth, but it needs a bit of care and it takes about 30 minutes one way.

Lovely little walk through the city. perfect mix of urban, historical buildings and greenery. Very busy for the most part so it's not the quietest, peaceful walk but the history of the city makes up for it. Great way to quickly look around York if you're in the area.

Short walk along the city walls of Chester with good info at the gates re the history. A good deal of work is being carried out on the city walls and therefore a number of diversions in place. Nonetheless if you have 40mins to kill, well worth it.

This is an update of the current situation of a walk around the walls. walls leading to Eastgate Bridge, Northgate Bridge and Southgate Bridge are both under construction at present (updated 5/6/20 - see images), hence my diversion. A lovely walk around the 2 mile circuit around part of the walls of Chester with lots to see and do. Please note: There are only small sections of the walls that do have ramps for people with disability.

Parts of the walk was quite nice, I.e., through old parts of town, riverside, around cathedral. There was a bit on the side of an A road coming into town that wasn’t so good. I’d say about half of the loop was interesting.

Part of the trail closed but very simple to find an alternative route. An easy walk, easily done in 2 hours with gorgeous views

Parts of the trail have been closed off by Cardiff Council with no alternative signage or directions. Flooded and overgrown in areas with little maintenance from the council.

Take my dog down this pretty regularly, great easy walk with nice views and sometimes there’s a food van next to the skatepark so that’s nice

Town walk around Exeter. Though there was some interesting buildings on route with history dating back to the 12th century it was difficult to stay on planned route as information seemed inaccurate so we had to deviate in places. The ship Inn was decent I had a meal and drink. The prices are reasonable and nice atmosphere. This is not my favourite route, hence 3 star review.

Cambridge is a charming town full of things to see. It’s so nice that highlights have been written in to the map of the app. Some portions of the walk are a bit dull but in general it will give you a thorough overview of the town and some scenery of the many colleges.

A perfect walk for winter when the fields are too muddy. Blown away by the tunnel at the start of the walk, simply beautiful.

It's a shame the walk doesn't advise a walk up the castle mound opposite Shire Hall which gives great views across the city.

We walked the majority of the walk, which we enjoyed. However the ferry mentioned only runs part of the year and cannot be relied on. We used the nearby bridge to complete that portion of the walk. ADMIN RESPONSE: Thank you for letting us know about the chain ferry. We have added a note within the walk directions, to let people know that they may need to use a bridge instead.
