Shout out to the person below me that said Glen Coco

Very pretty vistas but a lot of dull inner forest trail before getting there. Worth it if glen coco is frozen over and you’re in the area.

Easy Flat gravel trail, missed the turn to the overlook and over shot by 0.25 miles. Muddy once on the turnoff, but view is worth it. Is game land so wear some orange in season.

Nice falls. Quite heavily frequented even during wintery weather conditions. There is no loop next to the falls (except maybe if you feel like climbing on the rocks). It definitely is an in and out trail.

My go-to for a quick hike after work. The steeper terrain on the south side can get a little slippery, but it's not too difficult to traverse as the trail is quite well-travelled. There are several access points to the Bushkill Creek on north side, very popular among families in the summer. Can get crowded during the day, popular for school field trips.

Awesome hike great nature

The falls are beautiful and a must see if near the area, trail is easy enough to follow and this hike can be done in under 30 mins. Not so good, lots of college aged kids screaming, blocking the trail and drinking beer. Pretty sure this is a common occurrence as the falls smelled heavily like beer, its unfortunate people cant respect the environment.

Boulder field is a really interesting geological anonymity that I highly recommend you check out if you havent yet. Couple of reason for the lower rating though, 1. there is a gravel road that leads right up to boulder field, so its pretty guaranteed that the field will be packed on any given nice weather day, and that results in there being higher than usual trash and even some graffiti on the rocks. 2. Its really close to a highway so theres high traffic noise for most of the hike. Again I highly recommend you check it out but after doing it twice myself I doubt ill be returning.

Quick easy in and out. Beautiful views.

Beautiful scenic overlook

The walk in was kind of boring... the first 3 quarters of it is just a flat state game lands road. Then the last quarter is a flat trail through the woods. Easy. Nice fall colors right now. The overlook is amazing!!! Just breathtaking. You can hear the rushing water of the river down below.

Family friendly short and shaded trail. The first hiking experience for my 4 year old child. He was excited and was able to complete the whole trail without getting a piggyback.

Heavily used small trail. Popular with families. More of an out and back then a loop. Scenic, though crowed waterfall. Small climb by bottom of waterfall.

Very cool topography at the boulder field.

Nice short (3 mile) hike. Half of it is on gravel road. The wooded part is picturesque, but part of it had turned into a stream from flooding when we were there. The trail runs through state game lands, so if it is hunting season you might consider wearing bright colors. The vista overlook is great.

Super muddy and lots of standing water on Saturday afternoon! Not crowded, really easy (but long) walk, beautiful landscape and greenery.

Nice short trail. Well shaded. Virtually my own private haven. I literally saw 2 other people on the trail (which is precisely the reason why I went the week AFTER Labor Day)

It was pretty easy, but by the end very beautiful, will be in my list of favorite trails

Did as out-and-back from Wind Gap lot to Fox Gap. While I did enjoy this, be warned this trail has teeth! Have done several stretches of AT in northern PA and this one definitely takes the cake so far for the most jagged, pointy, toe-stubbing bunches of rocks throughout most of trail from Wind Gap to Wolf Rocks. The segment of trail between Fox Gap and Wolf Rocks is pretty minimal on the rocks so would make for easy hike just to see Wolf Rocks which are pretty neat (cliff of many large flat slanted rocks). There isn't much ascent/descent other than the initial climb up from Wind Gap so can sometimes get a little boring if doing full trail between the Gaps.

Did this trail with a 5 year old. He hiked most of it and backpacked a bit. Without him, this trail definitely would be easy. That being said we clocked 7.3 miles, not 6. Just be aware that number is low. Also, from all the rain, a lot of the trail was marsh and even some active creek.

Not good for family hike with kids. Encounter Cooperhead and Rattlesnake on the trees and in between the rocks.

This trail is great for families to hike together and practice safety since is easy but it has some challenges. You can get prepared together so you'll ready when taking those moderate and hard trails out there. Hooyah!!!

short and simple. cool trail through low trees.

We hike with our kids (5 & 8) and none of us liked the hike. Most of the hike was a stone road that was 80% in the sun. Very boring. It's not a "hike", it's more of a walk in the sun.

Relatively flat hike to the overlook and the view is very nice.

Great short hike. Rhododendrons are lovely and the falls, while not huge, are very attractive. Fun bouldering opportunities for kids.

Nice shaded trail. Very crowded on Sunday of Labor Day weekend to the point I didn’t enjoy - but drove by the trail head on my way out and it was very quiet. So I would imagine it being perfect with light to even moderate traffic. The trail is a little slippery but manageable. The waterfall is a great reward for such a short hike and with the littles ones it was a perfect break spot before returning.

Very nice and easy hike. Great for family. One waterfall about 3/4 through the hike on your right. Pretty rhododendrons line the trail.

Only gave it a 4 because we tried to follow the trail that follows the creek. We found the blue markers but they seemed to lead into the brush or the water. So we were disappointed as we were looking for a longer hike. All this being said, there has been a ton of rain with lots of flash flood warnings the last few weeks, so possibly the trail along the water is covered??? We took the Christman trail which was a wonder walk. The side trails lead to nice views of water. It's still a great walk on this trail. Very beautiful at the little falls and bridge.
