Great hike. Maps posted to help. Some confusion with the cross trails but stayed on the perimeter trail primarily. Biggest issue were the mosquitoes! Everywhere! I could not stop walking or risk the onslaught. Had to keep moving!

Great walk easy paved path, they were making some repairs while we were there. Took the baby in the hiking pack and had no worries. Lots of scenic spots and plenty of benches.

Hiked orange trail up with three kids(13,11&10 yrs). This was their first real hike. it was steep enough to get a little winded and make your legs shakey but completely doable It took us a good 1hour 30 minutes to summit. Beautiful views of the lake. On the way down we took yellow trail. great hike

Great, well marked trail but don’t let the rating fool you! Almost immediately, we went straight up and it did not relent until we reached the top! We followed red to the top. Coming down was also well marked and groomed. We followed orange down to the 2nd white junction and hung a left to head down white. White took us to a dirt road we took a left on that and we walked the road the rest of the way to our car! (The road was easy) I would say this aired on the side of moderate!

Nice hike and great view of the lake on Lakeview Trail after a 15 min. ascent.

Fun walk. Short scramble at the top on they way down was a nice surprise

I absolutely love this trail....we did the cliff walk and the fisherman's walk what I'm upset about is the fact there's NO WHERE to park! we got there early but every place was marked permit parking only. we parked on a lawn type lot that wasn't marked but others were parked as well. we did the hike which totaled 3.5 miles. we brought bathing suits to go on the beach as it was 90 degrees out so when when we got back to the car to get our suits we were told we couldn't park there and would have to leave it was by permit only. I said well there's no signs. and she said there are signs now I just finished putting them up. she told us to park on the road. I said there's signs there too saying permit only and she said oh well. so we drove around looking for any place else to park. there's no place! two streets over in the signs said 2 hour parking. we left and went to old orchard beach instead. that is the 4th trail ive gone to through this app that had no parking.

Super fun little hike. I’ve done it a few times and each time and it seems to be more fun than I remember. Just this past weekend I hiked it after a heavy rain. The run-off only added to the enjoyment. (The lack of people due to the rain certainly didn’t hurt either.) Take the dog on this one. They’ll love you for it. One very active, high strung puppy slept all the way home.

we went up through Brook trail(yellow) and came down on boulder loop(orange). Our way up was moderate, there were lot of water streams and small falls that actually made climb tricky as the trail got slippery at some points.

Boulder loop was one of toughest descents we have ever been to. Lots of rocks and steep climbs. I suggest carrying an extra pack of socks just in case your socks get drenched in water!

Scenic loop with multiple trails off the main path.

Great hike! Very well marked, lots of water for the dogs. Highly recommended!

It was a great little hike absolutely picturesque at sunset on our way out. It was a little bit of a challenge to find where it began but the app was very helpful!

My daughters first mountain hike. It was a great hike :)

Great day hike. Amazing views of Alton Bay and Lake Winnipesaukee

Quick up and down! Great for a hike that is moderately challenging but doesn't take long

Asked about the trailhead when we arrived and ranger said the mosquitos and ticks were really bad. He advised us not to do the hike with our kids.

Beautiful but bring bug spray! $5/pp

Pretty views, virtually no incline. Narrow areas between bushes in some spots. Saw a few water snakes. Nice easy hike.

typical Bellknap range hike, easy to moderate effort for great views.

I had fun! Went up Main Trail (Blue) and down Brook Trail (Yellow). The final ascent on Blue is steep, exposed rock face. I had my sticky trail running shoes, so that made the climb easier. The Yellow is easier on the knees coming down, but definitely longer. Went the morning before thunderstorms were scheduled to roll in, so trails were not heavily trafficked. In wet weather, the Yellow trail down was a better choice - rocks get slippery when wet! I'm an average dayhiker and pushed my ascent pace to beat the weather; took me about 1 h 45 min for the whole loop including a five minute break at the top. Folks who don't hike a lot or who are hiking with little ones will probably need to budget more time.

Nice and very easy trail, slight incline that gets you up the hill. Beautiful lake view! Completed the loop in less than 1.5 hours in a very relaxed pace with some stops on the way.

I love to do hikes alone but sometimes get a little nervous when it is not marked well. No problems with that on this trail, very well marked! Bring some empty containers in case you time it right with the wild blueberries. Still some small ones at the top but definitely at the end of their season.

Great trail! Amazing views! Still dealing with ignorant people with their dogs off the leash. Wish something will get done about this. I wish people would start thinking of other people, it’s a shame! I will be doing this trail again for sure! My wife got bit two years ago because of this, so that’s why it bothers me so much.

Great easy hike around White Lake. We saw a pair of beautiful Loons on our hike this morning.

my children and I loved this walk! the wiggly bridge was fun for them to run across, and I'd you go at low tide you can search for treasures off the jetty!

Please, pick up and carry out your pets poop and poop bags. Enjoy~

Awesome rocks. Wide trail. Went to the summit with my dog. He had a blast. It gets steep toward the top and it rained a bit during my hike. Rocks got slick. Great views. I took the blue trail.

Pretty solid. First portion (3/4 mile or so) was the most difficult/steep and had the best views. After that it levels out for the most part. At the end of Eagle Cliff you stay on Red Hill for a hundred feet or so until you hit the tower. Definitley climb up the tower and soak in the views.

For whatever reason the trail map on this site also has you do the entire Red Hill trail which is a waste of time. I'd recommend just taking Eagles Cliff back down as opposed to doing another out and back with Red Hill. There are no views and you just go straight to a parking lot.

So in reality if you do Eagles Cliff and only a hundred feet or so of Red Hill just to get to the tower the entire hike will be around 4 to 5 miles.

Overall I'd consider this a moderate hike as opposed to difficult.
