Nice trail . Bring water because it is very dry! Great hike.
It is easy to get lost out here as there are no trail markers. It wasn’t bad though, there were some fun sections to ride.
I had my dog and niece with me. There are babies out so that meant protective mamas. We had to go off trail quite a few times to avoid the cows. The different trails aren’t marked so thank goodness I had the app or else we would have been hiking for a while.
This has definitely mostly been used for biking, as the trail is very narrow. About halfway through the loop the trail full on disappears and you have to blaze your own. I’d suggest go halfway in, then turn back—as even when the trail would randomly show back up it wasn’t for long and didn’t match the all trails map. There is no shade so it’s best to do this trail early in the day during summer.
Little shade and poor trail markers. But that is okay it is a good mountain biking area.
This trail definitely isn’t a “hard” trail. It’s a little lengthy (moreso if you get lost like I did) but the terrain is easily hiked. A peaceful trail with little shade which was perfect since it was a little chilly and overcast. It might be too hot during the summer.
This was perfect for a casual fall hike with the dogs. I’m not sure why it was rated as hard because there wasn’t anything hard about it. Gently rolling hills with simple views. This trail would also be good for trail running and mountain biking. It is very hot in the summer without any shade around.
