Pretty paved trail with great information on the history ama nature of the area next to the Metro line.

Two loop trails on paved, leveled path. I like Centennial Lake better.

Simple trail around the farm, 2.5mi in total took me an hour. $6 entrance fee, huge playground, farm area, and sports fields. Pretty simple trail, some trash bins scattered throughout. There are a few additional trails that were open but I didnt access. would recommend for an easy walk, walk with kids 5-7 or an older dog.

Little walk after work thru downtown Columbia.

We started the morning by having breakfast at the Iron Rooster in the McHenry Row then drove into the fort. We had planned to hike the entire outer loop but it was extremely windy out. We walked through all the buildings within the fort complex and the history was fascinating. We did do some walking along the waterfront and got to see geese. We are locals of the Baltimore area and I grew up in the North Point, Fort Howard area. British General Ross and his troops camped out on our farm during the war of 1812.

The wife and I enjoy this place very much so. We walked the complete outside Perimeter. It's all paved in blacktop and easy on the feet. No hills and that's great if you are deal with IT band issues. With the trees being so bare we saw a few deer. The wife was so busy talking they heard us coming and ran. When I come here by myself I have nearly tripped over the deer. They never even run away. We saw squirrels running around the whole time. It was very breezy out and a bit colder on the waterfront.

A beautiful paved trail that is a great option when the others are muddy or snowy. Had a great time.

Great trails. Nice wild life and paved trails. Two great kids parks off the trails. Safe and quiet.

Very nice trail, lots of wild life. Trails are not clearly marked, map was also confusing.

enjoyed the historical part

Love this trail as it is one of many historic trails and buildings in Baltimore, it’s a very nice trail to go on if you don’t want to pay to enter the fort.

Great hike with fun stops along the way.

The farm section was closed but the walk was still very enjoyable. The wife and I bring the dogs here during the summer months. Not much shade in the summer but it’s a nice place to come in the winter months. I generally take a lot of photos but with my mittens on I simply leave my cell phone on in my pocket. This place has it all. Playground and farm animals for the kids. Flat paved and earthen trails too. You can play disc golf and there is a Complete Sports Complex.

Very enjoyable trail year round. I am normally a earthen trail hiker and generally in the woods at Patapsco Valley State Park. I have been recovering from Plantar fasciitis so I have been limited to easier terrain. All the trails here are flat and paved. The whole park is very well maintained. I see wildlife here all the time so it helps me from getting bored. I always come here if the other locations are muddy. Lucky us, the weather gets nice from time to time. This bear hates being in a Cave all winter.

Nicely paved trail. Great for walking, biking and running. Family friendly.

Nice easy trail. Like the open and shade it offers. Can get busy in the spring with bikes.

First time going to this park! Had a great time and nice place to walk the dog. We will be back soon!

Great promenade connecting the neighborhoods of the harbor.

I live in the area and hike through Leakin Park all of the time. I have never been concerned for my safety. But of course, it is wise to bring a friend and cell phone. The park has excellent reception.

That being said, I am not sure which trail is being represented by this entry. The map looks like one leg of the GFT, a paved multiuser path. This path is over 15 miles, goes past Camden Yards, and has a great website and app if it's own.

There are hiking trails within Leakin Park. The friends of GF/LP website is a good starting point for info. Check out our ParkRun!

The stream that runs through the park is named the Gwynn Falls. There is no waterfall associated with it! Similar to the situation with the Jones Falls stream. The misnaming confuses a lot of people and is a bit unfortunate.

Poor Leakin park suffers from its urban location. If you come hiking, please bring a bag to pick up some trash. We appreciate your help. As do the foxes, owls, and other critters that make the park their home.

This was my only second hike since my ligament injure known as Plantar Fasciitis. It's still needs time to Heal but doesn't seem to get any better. I may need a operate after the holidays if it's a heel spur. After hiking 377 miles this year, this old senior may have done a bit to much. With my foot taped up like a football player I managed to walk a bit of this flat (boring) Grist Mill trail. With it being Thanksgiving Saturday and seasonally warm out the trails were crowded. I am hoping I can soon put my Santa suit on and be well enough to walk the trails. Ho! Ho! Ho! ( White Beard )

Beautiful lake, very kind friendly

Nice amount of paved trail however confusing. Markers for main trail were not clear. I got lost a few times. Very shaded and lots of deer even in warm weather.

One of my favorite trails in Anne Arundel county. Safe. Children and adults alike will love the farm animals and small museums. Great 2.4 mile wrap around pathway for walkers runners and bikers with small trails scattered throughout. You’ll see plenty of deer in the woods during cool temperatures.

Nice and short. Lake is the center of many connected residential clusters. The lake is pretty nice and scenic. Great loop for novice runners/light joggers.

Fairly crowded, but nice trail. Fully paved.

Very nice place to walk with my dog. I enjoyed it, will definitely go back.

Love doing this trail! I have been twice now. Both times with a dog and once with a baby. Great trail paved and with awesome views and experiences!
