Easy walking trail

Great trail, but the leaves made the rocks pretty slippery!

I took my kids and my nephew there and they Loved it!! They had a blast, I will definitely go back, very clean also.

Nice views even in a winter day. A couple spots are a bit rocky but that's the fun.
Probably it's easier to start going south / left from the trailhead and do the loop.

Participated in the State of CT DEEP First Day Hike 2019 here on New Years Day. It had rained the day before so the Boardwalk trail was a bit submerged! And the waterfall trail was a bit slippery with all the wet leaves and mud. Otherwise, the hike was a breeze!

After your hike, take time to enjoy the conservation center if it's open and learn about the local animals.

after moving to this side of the connecticut river from Manchester, I was looking for a local hike comparable to case mountain. what a gem this place is. 10 minute drive from where I live and more than enough of a challenge to make it an experience worth having every time. love this mountain.

Different versions some easy some moderate

beautiful views year round

Many reviews had stated that the trails were poorly marked however I am assuming they were recently repainted because all of the trails we hiked were clearly marked.

Beautiful place. Did all the side trails and ended up going about 3.5 miles. I’ll definitely be back again.

super easy. be prepared for mud

This trail was really fun! Lots of good views, some good scrambling at times. Good amount of mud, plenty of rocks to walk across though.

Greats views

Views are spectacular !! Trail is steep and there is some climbing you have to get through but very well worth it !!

trail was extremely muddy, make sure to bring proper footwear. easy to get off trail (and off property!).

Nice winter hike to see the frozen water

The view on top is magnificent! I took the blue/red trail on the left to go on top of the mountain and it is very rocky. Make sure to keep your head up to see the markers. There is a small portion where there seems to be no more markers and you will go right on a wide trail (like for ATV) and then you will have to go off that path and take a left (slight uphill) to get back on track and keep going along the "cliffs".
Very nice hike overall!!

The trail was very wet from all the rain some of the parts of the trail had turned into a small creek so would recommend wearing waterproof hiking shoes.

My husband and I started our hike on the blue trail and ended on the blue/red trail. The trail markings were spaced far apart and difficult to follow. Some of the trail markings were faded and need to be remarked. It is easy to go off the trail if you are not carful.
The views were beautiful.

Beautiful moderate hike, great around the fall time!

Easy hike, good loop for a run.

On a positive note the hike had very nice views over looking the lake and terrain can be challenging at times. On the negative the trail markings are very difficult to follow so make sure to use this map and also print one out as this one is not color coded properly. Also watch where you step as there was a baby 18” rattlesnake near the path today which would not have been good had we stepped on it.

Great trail! Friendly people and dogs :) Just watch out for the bees around the beaver damn lookout-point! - walked on 9/16/18

this trail was one of the toughest i've done. was a good work out. there are so many rocks. and very steep terrain. i would say this trail is moderate/hard. i liked the views and i will be back for more

there are better trails around the reservoirs than this mostly gravel loop trail. explore the side trails.

Great views. The hike is what I scored. Frustrated with the app, though. I recorded it and it didn’t save and wouldn’t let me share.
