Good description of trail and views. Mid October was very nice. Not too warm. Trail could’ve been marked better.

There may not be a ton of drop dead views or challenging hikes but this place offers miles of easy hiking. You can see Pikes Peak and other mountains (further back on the property) The aspen groves mixed in with the pine are gorgeous. Great for fall foliage pics and in winter this place will be awesome for snow shoeing. Enjoy!

The reward at the end of this hike is so worth it. You get a 360 degree view! Breathtaking! The hike is moderate but if your not use to the altitude there are small spots that can be difficult. Rest take your time, enjoy the quiet and beauty along the way.

Beautiful trail, more like moderate with some hard sections. Pretty easy overall. Exposed with little shade. Encountered a rattle snake on the trail!

Note: the direction button for this trail leads you to the Green Mountain Trailhead, which is on the other side of Dakota Ridge! If you go there you'll probably have an easier time finding parking than at the Matthews/Winter park. You start on the Zorro Trail across the road, which leads you up to Dakota Ridge. I accidentally went down Green Mountain trail because I missed the signs and was looking for the red rocks trail. I drove to Matthews instead and took red rocks to Dakota. I kind of likes that way better. *

*bikes arent allowed the first portion of the village walk trailhead I think but are on Zorro.

Beautiful hikes. Pretty easy hiking with great views!

Pretty easy hike, paved mostly so great for littles. Awesome rock formations to check out too!

Great hike! Loved everything about this one- smaller distance but you still get a nice workout in. As others have stated, the view at the end is amazing. I enjoyed the trail as well- lots of trees and openness. Only saw one other person on the trail today- little bit of snow off to the side.

Another one of my favorite hikes. Used to hike it regularly when living in Colorado Springs.

Well marked and great views. Great trail to see some wildlife if the right time of year.

Easy to find, good parking and the views driving to this hike were stunning at this time of year. Only wish there was a trail marker closer to the top. The end view is beautiful and yesterday the fog was still on some of the mountains, so we had aspens, pancake rocks, fog, sunshine and beautiful blue skies. I really enjoyed this hike.

Solid hike. Not much shade but great to hike near RRX.
Didn’t like having to cross street

Loved it! Cool mix of terrains. We got a little turned around but made it and it was really satisfying! Very open so wear sun shirt.

great trail. great views

Great hike. Did it at dawn this morning and had the trail to myself. Spur trail to Kineo isn’t well marked but your GPS will help greatly. Aspens were is full fall blaze up there. Return trip down was crowded on Seven Bridges, so get up early if you want solitude.

#twoenthusiasticthumbsup! start early and enjoy the views and a lunch at the top.

Just hiked it today. Very pretty trail with a good size aspen grove at the end. The leaves will be gone soon. Some of the trees are already bare. Hurry if you want to see them. The trail is definitely moderate with one pretty sketchy spot if you continue past the last bridge. You won’t like that part if you’re not too crazy about heights. Lots of slippery loose gravel. It’s more like 5.8 miles there and back if you keep going to get to the aspens.

A challenging and enjoyable hike! I took a previous hiker's advice and took the Pancake Rocks trail first before the Falls and that would be my recommendation as well. This trail is an incline for the majority of it and I didn't meet a single person on the trail that wasn't huffing, so if you want a physical challenge this is the perfect hike for you. The leaves are a gorgeous fall color on 10/2, but I suspect they won't be that way for long. Lots of pine coverage along the trail so would be a great hike year round. Parking at the trail head is limited and this is a popular trail so plan ahead and happy hiking!

9-29-2018:
Pluses - Some fall color, no idea if it's peak or past, seemed mixed depending on the area. Not crowded. Well marked. Well maintained trails. Dedicated parking lot. Some good views.
Minuses - Power lines. Road. Generally not far enough from civilization. A motorcycle passed us on the trail.

We found it very difficult to find the trail and were almost attacked by a Rottweiler off leash. Do not recommend.

Crags trail is beautiful especially in the fall. The 360 view on the top was amazing and so worth the hike. It’s a little hard to tell where to stop but make sure you follow the trail up to the top! Great trail. One of my favorites so far!

A step trail up and over the falls. Very pretty and if you want to hike longer there are many more trails close.

Awesome view of the aspens

The dog restriction is unfortunate but was bound to happen. We would frequently hike out dog poop that others had left behind on this trail. To add insult to injury, the town didn’t have any disposal bins at the trailhead, so often times we would have to drive into town to dispose of the waste properly...that certainly didn’t help matters, I’m sure. I wish there was a way to punish the irresponsible dog owners and not all of all of us (some poop cams following by some social media shaming?) because this is bound to happen on all of our trails. If the city willing to spend money to have police officers patrol the trail, then please ticket the people not following the rules instead of punishing all of us. It’s frustrating to the good dog owners out here who are cleaning up after the bad ones.

Hiked this trail today. Trail maintenance group were working on the trail which is very well maintained. As Ashley Reed pointed out last week this trail us NOT marked as Seven Bridges Trail, but as Trail 622. Trailhead is about a mile up Gold Camp Road from the final parking lot above Helen Hunt Falls. We only hiked up to Bridge #7, but others coming down from the top of the trail said the aspens were peak. North Cheyenne Creek runs all along the trail with several small falls. Beautiful trail, great day!

Very good hike! Challenging but very rewarding. We went over labor day weekend so it was busy. Uphill the whole way made for a great workout. Would recommend!

Great view in relation to the effort it takes to get there

Hot in summer. But beautiful

Enjoyed the trail overall. The first mile or so was a little boring and the Aspens near the trailhead were mostly all green (9-23-18). The entire trail had a bunch of Aspens and it wasn’t until about the halfway point that we started seeing color. The hike was pretty easy - only a few parts with a decent incline. It took my wife, 4 year old and I about 3 hours to complete the loop with lots of stopping for pictures and lunch. I’m not a trail runner but this would be a nice trail for that. The only major bummer about the trail was following the power lines, but that was expected. Really enjoyed seeing views of Pikes Peak for the majority of the hike.

Small parking lot/trailhead was tucked behind some houses. Turn L into the parking lot with a city maintenance building (looks like a fire station) and the trailhead is just beyond it. Trail was nice and pretty well marked. Some beautiful views and the aspen trees were turning (some full yellow, others almost there). There were some steep climbs but they leveled off and most of the 5 miles was a pleasant level hike (we went clockwise) There is cell coverage so we were able to check the AllTrails app about 1/2 way through the hike to make sure we were on the right track.
