Phoenix Map

Took about an hour and fifteen minutes just keeping a brisk walking pace. Got in and out just before sunset. Really rocky in most parts of the trail so look where you are going. Not too much elevation but it’s a good quick hike.

I dont care for desert scenery too much, and while this isn't exactly forrest its a nice compromise being so close to town. This hike is classified under hard but I feel most anyone in shape would have no real problem with this trail, as long as you come hydrated and bring water!

nice treck

Super-challenging hike. About half way up, it starts to feel more like rock climbing than hiking. Tricky trail to follow. Only would recommend for experienced hikers in good shape. That said, very beautiful hike. Very special place. Lots of dramatic vistas. Happy we did it.

To the nice Canadians we met...we did find the way with the help of some locals.

One of my favorite climbs. Love the changing terrain. Challenging but very much worth it.

So beautiful! Good workout!

Well maintained trail with lots of great views of Saguaro Lake, as well as Four Peaks and even Flatiron in the distance.
Nice change from the typical Phoenix desert hike, and though the trail is fairly flat, there is just enough elevation change to keep things interesting and to improve the views.
I saw a couple of wild horses at the trailhead. Beside that I barely saw any trash on the trail. Someone must have come through and cleaned up after the party pig summer crew!

This is my favorite trail in the area.

Very kid friendly. Easy hike for a first timer

Great views - good morning walk

If a trail can be rated by the number of times used, Siphon Draw to the Flatiron is my nearly 200-time favorite. As I get older, however, it kicks my butt pretty hard so I use it less frequently. Start early for shade most of the way.

Great family hiking trail!!! We saw two Diamondback Rattlesnakes, Spiny Dessert Lizard, Quails, Rabbits, and amazing views!! Highly recommend this hike. It was a little busy but people were very friendly. Our 8 year old kept up with no problems. Take plenty of water and sunscreen. Enjoy!!

Spent the night at the top was sweet. I do this trail about twice a month helps me stay in shape and it's a good time getting to the top.

Waterfall looked nice. Not a ton of water but definitely enough to get wet!

New to the valley and waited for a cool day to try this and loved all the amazing rock formations. The backside of the loop seems like a bushwhack but you can see the main trail so it’s easy to stay on course.

Great hike. Last night there was a big storm so the trail was somewhat washed out, loose rocks and pebbles, but on the other hand beautiful green ocotillos and a couple of water creeks. It worth it!

good trail but watch for snakes

Easy fun trail.

Awesome morning hike. I would rate it moderate to easy if you start at Saguaro Parking. Amazing views definitely worth the huffing and puffing on the way to the top!

Nice trail, good workout. The way back is definitely more difficult, especially with the sun beating down. Made it to about the 70 mark, then turned around due to knowing I'd have to go back up a decent incline and it wasn't getting any cooler. stunning views, the people were, meh...not the friendliest but that didn't stop me from saying hello. recommend, probably during the week.

Went there yesterday and the waterfall was flowing! It was so wonderful!

Amazing hike! We made it to the top in an hour and 39 mins:) running & jumping off the rocks on the way down was so fun!!! Definitely a tough hike but I loved every second of it!

Depending on your fitness I would rate this between easy and moderate. A few areas maybe a bit challenging to those that may be out of shape or do not maneuver well over rocky terrain. The views of the Superstitions are surreal, coming from someone who has a view of them every day. Bring plenty of water and sunscreen as most of the hike is in the direct sunlight. Take your time and enjoy the scenery. You wont be disappointed.

Took us 5.5 hours total with a 30 min view at the top. Genuinely a difficult hike, not for beginners! Prepare to rock climb and foot loose rocks/gravel. Bring at least 1 gallon of water per person and maybe a Gatorade/snack! The only downside was not well marked after the first 1.5 Miles in. Remember the way you go up the mountain, the way down can easily throw you off coarse if you’re not careful. Best views in valley!

Great hike but I clicked it at 5.6 miles took us 3 hours, everyone was nice on the trail.

Started at 7am so the climb was great temps however the way back from 10am was hot especially at the bottom part. Amazing view at the top!

Found an earring on the trail, partial hoop diamond- if anyone lost please let me know!

My favorite moderate trail for a morning hike
