Beautiful walk for all levels. Paved road all around.

Great place to go birding. Definitely will come back, very peaceful!

very benign, deceivingly beautiful and peaceful, and exceptionally accessible trail running:. a dense suburban Oasis. for a quick 2.2, 4.4, or 6.6 mile run (1,2,3 loops) it is the best trail for time constrained trail runners (if u r nearby). love this trail. nothing technical, but NO pavement - mix of packed gravel, dirt, wood chips , grass ran 500 times and will run 500 more.

Good beginners trail. Enjoyed the walk. Three hours with nature!!!!

There is too much noise from the road (476), lacks signs (AllTrails was very useful). Many beautiful spots, particularly next to the creek.

Great hike, devils pool is refreshing.....but rocks are very slippery! Hardly any restrooms though

this is unofficially a dog park. signs say keep dog on leash but everyone let's them run free. the trails arent long but okay for a quick hike with your dog. the creek is nice for the dogs to swim in

Was first time on a hike...was a lot of fun and the trail was wooded and well marked. Nice to see water falls and we really enjoyed the yellow trail. Was moderate hills and rocky paths. Some nice historical parts along the way as well.

My favorite trail

Lots of people running and walking. Dogs on short leash only.

It is a good trial did it with my family any bike works and it was a breeze but the kids had some trouble going up the hills

Love!! Went here because it’s close to my sisters in the city but still on the way from Chalfont area. Hike was a workout and kicked my butt! (In the best way of course). I loved that it was easy enough but harder than most of my go-to trails. Will definitely be returning :) watch for the little spiders that build their web right across the trails!

Best urban ride in southeastern Pennsylvania. Free parking on Sedgley street at Kelly drive. Sculptures scattered through the Fairmont park part of the trail give great spots for a water break and a photo. Heavy traffic on the trail up to the Falls bridge, after which It thins out until Manayunk. A strech of street riding until the canal path comes into play ,then a safe auto free ride until Phoenixville. Connecting trails along the entire SRT make this trail the main artery this side of Pa.

Really just a public park, not really a focus on trail walking/running.

Overall pretty easy with a few steep elevation changes that put it to the moderate level. Actually started running for stretches in some parts as it was so flat. Trails are well marked but the same trail tends to open in multiple directions several times on the trip making it a bit confusing. Watch out for bikers- trails are narrow and winding in some spots so it is tough to see one another coming. You can very easily make your own variations on this trail that would take you about the same distance. Only think I would avoid next time is the part where it takes you out to Summit Ave and you have to walk on the side of the road for about 1/3 of a mile. Still blows my mind that a hike like this is in Philly.

Considering it’s just a few miles outside of the city it’s an amazing place to get away and go for a 3 mile walk or so. Actually ended up going fishing one time and had a great experience. Beautiful place to visit

Flowing water, covered bridges, uncovered bridges, lots of up and down hills, small waterfalls--what's not to like! Access to multiple trails so you can control how easy/hard and can always go down to Forbidden Drive for nice easy stroll if you've had enough of trails. Not always super well marked, but hard to get truly lost. Recommend especially if in Philly or nearby.

Great trail for beginners. Beautiful place, not crowded at all. Creek and waterfall were nice.

Great experience!

Great historical walking trail

What is this? No one calls it by this name. Forbidden Drive is a popular trail here.

This was our first visit to Valley Forge National Historical Park and it won’t be our last. The trail is paved most of the way so it is perfect for an easy walk through history. The last mile or so is near a busy road, but besides that the experience was very enjoyable.

Great view !

+ Clear, well maintained trail, no large roads to cross
- Not much in elevation gains, surrounded by busy roads on all sides

Nice paved trail for an easy walk. Not very seculeded or challenging.

This is a really great trail. Has information on tons of bird species with viewing platforms. About halfway through it tells you exactly where the eagle nest is. The boardwalk over the water is a really nice touch that I haven’t come across in any other parks in the area. A lot of the park is also handicap accessible.

Great trail. Love the variety that this trail offers. Lots of uphill and downhill... I hike this trail on a regular basis with my pup.. And only issue is parking. I love this trail!
