Beautiful and easy hike (if you go clockwise) in the woods , very peaceful and quiet before 10am. Great for families with kids as the incline is very mild.

Went in summer so it was 90° hot and the waterfalls were quite lacking in water. Still overall pretty interesting hike.

Was there early September 2018 and there was no waterfall at the triple fall. It was all dried up. Overall, the hike was fairly easy.

Is only 4 miles hike, but steep. Very nice. Will be back springtime when the falls are fuller.

We took the Frog Lake Loop trail today. It was a bit dry as expected but beautiful lake at the destination. We saw a wild turkey, tons of frogs, lots of blue dragonflies. I would definitely go back in the spring to see wild flowers. The Hobbs section was a bit steep downhills in some part and there was a couple of trucks on it. Next time, I’ll take the Frog Lake Trail to avoid the vehicles and get much better view of the ridges.

Pretty decent hike. Went at about 1pm on a 90 degree day. Brought 2L of water. The hike down wasn’t that bad at all.. considering it’s all downhill! On the way back I took the Springs trail back up. Wow! That was quite a hike up. Made me stop a few times. I can’t wait to go back after a nice rain when the river fills up! Would make the hike that much better.

By the way.. it’s 8$ to park!

Love this hike, but the trail has been closed for construction :(

Fun trail to hike on. Mostly narrow trails. Some fairly steep drop offs but not too difficult to deal with. Not too strenuous if hiking on the Soda Spring Trail out and returning on the China Hole Trail. Took us about 5 hours round trip.

Definitely not a good place for swimming at this time of the year though. The creek is al dried up. Some water left at China Hole but not much.

The waterfall trail is absolutely gorgeous.

Multiple waterfalls, lots of shade, dog-friendly, easy loop, not crowded: what's not to like? No permit was required for hiking as this was after 6/30.

a fav on a cool morn!

A Nice Hike to go to on even on a hot day. North Rim trail was closed so took the switchback trail to south rim trail. Wasn't too disappointed though. The switchback is a pretty good workout in itself. The park as such is a really good place to plan a group picnic. A lot of Picnic spots and tables with nets for some outdoor shuttle or some volleyball. Loads of trails and biking routes. Many alternatives to lengthen the trek. Definitely looking forward to coming again and doing another trail

Good tree cover. Fun hike!

Loved this trail! All the tree coverage made it a very pleasant hike on a hot day, and the scent of wildflowers and herbs along the way was intoxicating :) Can’t wait to go back!

Love this trail although closed passed the switchback

An almost perfect 4-5 mile loop, and such an easy/close drive from the peninsula. Had never thought to come over here. Great redwood trees and a really awesome view at the top!

The ascend was beautiful, shady and calm. Lovely hike for mornings. Park has two free parking lots and you get a spot if you are inside by 10.30am. You will have to walk a mile from the parking lot to reach the trail head.

a gorgeous hike that is easy enough for little kids.

A great walk on a warm day, lots of shade and plenty to see

People complaining about to this park, just a bunch of whiners. There's no resaon to post review as a 3 *** or 2 park. This is an AMAZING place to hang around with family and friends. Live to the fullest people!

Pleasant shady hike. Nice to be by the creek and then get some elevation after the switchbacks and see a great view of San Jose.

It’s a nice trail especially If you are not used to do a lot. It’s considered as moderate but l would say it’s an easy to light moderate trail. Great for families with kids who want to do more than just a walk. Nice view on the valley, 75% of the trail is under the trees canopy. You will love it during summertime .

Trail is in good condition. Watch for poison oak growing on the trail.

Nice trail! Definitely a good day hike. Beautiful ridgeline views.

Went at 11am on a Friday. No issue with Parking and no reservation. Easy 4 mile loop.
