Beautiful place to visit. Easy to navigate unless you go off trail.

It is a good trial did it with my family any bike works and it was a breeze but the kids had some trouble going up the hills

Love!! Went here because it’s close to my sisters in the city but still on the way from Chalfont area. Hike was a workout and kicked my butt! (In the best way of course). I loved that it was easy enough but harder than most of my go-to trails. Will definitely be returning :) watch for the little spiders that build their web right across the trails!

Best urban ride in southeastern Pennsylvania. Free parking on Sedgley street at Kelly drive. Sculptures scattered through the Fairmont park part of the trail give great spots for a water break and a photo. Heavy traffic on the trail up to the Falls bridge, after which It thins out until Manayunk. A strech of street riding until the canal path comes into play ,then a safe auto free ride until Phoenixville. Connecting trails along the entire SRT make this trail the main artery this side of Pa.

beautiful trail running parallel to 202. not the most peaceful of trails but good for biking and running

very hilly

Awesome views mountain biking was a little tough very rocky for that but some spots were flater with not as much rocks

Great trail for beginners. Beautiful place, not crowded at all. Creek and waterfall were nice.

Great experience!

Great loop would definitely do it again

It's a nice path they have set aside that runs next to the road. Doesn't make for the most peaceful stroll but it's a good walk all around.

I agree that this hike should be rated as easy. If,you are looking for a challenge, this isn't it. No elevations. However, an overall enjoyable hike and beautiful lake.

Good walk, but I disagree that this trail is moderate difficulty. It should be rated easy. Could use more trail markers too.

Great view !

Good trail and easy to access. We went on one of the first warm weekends of the year and the parking lot was packed. Be ready to have lots of company on the trails. It was heavily used by mountain bikers and people with pups. (We had our two pups leashed and all but one dog we passed was also leashed.) We also had our two year old with us and she was able to hike with us (with assistance of course.)

There are several trails and you can loose your way pretty easily. But if you follow the river you will find your way back eventually. Very pretty. A lot of foot/bike traffic.

Wear hiking shoes, it’s rocky in many places. Beautiful lookouts over the river in the first 10 minutes of the hike. Staying left on the trail and taking it clockwise will take you along the high portion of the trail first and on the way back, following the loop, takes you lower along the river.

Beautiful trail! Definitely would say this was moderate NOT easy. A large portion of the trail is unmarked and very rocky with lots of tree roots, etc. I stupidly started at the end of the trail and worked my way to the beginning. A large portion of it was uphill and there was parts that were a little strenuous. My dog had a blast but I wouldn’t recommend bringing small children unless your only looking at the overlook. If I brought my kid, they’d be complaining that their legs hurt the whole time.

Beautiful hike, and at this time of the year, the lake is still a little frozen, so it made for some unique scenery.

Lots of trails explore! Very dog friendly. you can swim in the creek in the summer (as can your dog).

bike this path from Washington's crossing to new hope, great trail, lots of changing scenery and different views of the Delaware river. As you're riding along, the canal is to the left and river on the right. Polite people on path, along with rest stops to relax and take in the views! Arrive in the artsy, New Hope strip (shops, pubs) to relax at an outdoor restaurant , great place to stop after your ride for a cocktail and a bite to eat before your ride back.

Fun place to mountain bike. It's not super easy but most beginners should be able to handle it.

Paved path with great lighting. If you’re new to the city like I was, this was an easily accessible running path with lights and lanes to make you feel safe! Definitely would like to do this again. Not traditional trails so you may be disappointed if you’re looking for dirt.
