Great on the way there, tough on the way back up. The trail isn’t well marked but it’s pretty well trafficked you can figure it out.

The trail is short, but beautiful. There are benches along the trail to sit and enjoy the view. I went in March. The view in summer or fall would be even better.

Great trail!! The hike isn't too tough unless you're out of shape like me.

We hiked out to the Hawksbill Crag this past week. It was a very enjoyable hike. It was not very difficult, about 3.2 miles with about 100 ft of ascent. My 4 yr old daughter handled the hike without issue. The view from the Crag was something to behold. Highly recommend this hike.

When we arrived there were only a few cars at 8:30am, and we saw minimal people in passing on the way in. Then on the hike out, they came in by the droves! But I don’t blame them, the views of creation are beautiful from this trail.

It was a scenic hike, but lots of people on this trail after 10am.

Waterfalls, beautiful rock formations and not too bad of a hike!! Perfect

The hike was easy and beautiful. I’ve been in different seasons and all are lovely.

This Trail Is small VERY SMALL! but worth the stop it is listed in the Smothsonia as the top 50 in the USA! On Smithsonia.Com and top for Illinois very Beautiful place. if you trail it it dont take long but in my case it lasted for almost 9 hours .Put me in a Wilderness and I'll stay as long as possible and cry when I have to leave. There are a few folks walking around but I seem to be able to figure out where to go to get away from them plus I went in the middle of the week so that helps. beautiful place I was there in Oct 2017 for the fall colors PERFECT!!!!!!!!

So beautiful. Go after a good spring rain for some nice falls! First mile or so of hike is very easy, almost boring. Once you cross the creek, it starts to get better with views.

There is more to this trail. Look for hidden trails and waterfalls.

Time it to catch the sunset over looking the Mississippi River

We hiked this trail after hiking Centerpoint/Goat Trail. Not a very difficult hike and much shorter in distance than Centerpoint. Several spots away from the point to make camp. Very scenic and makes for excellent photography. As always, I recommend camping. I suggest doing it away from the point though as there are several people that hike it early in the morning.

We went yesterday and we still love it!! Beautiful every time!!

Fun and easy hike. One of the best views in Arkansas

This was such an amazing hike. Very popular and busy, but it was worth taking a lunch and just enjoying the views

Insane views

Amazing views and beautiful colors in the fall.

Awesome place, a must see if in Arkansas! Great views, kinda crowded even in the winter.

Pretty easy hike with some impressive views at the end! Relative to other hikes around the area, it is a lot more crowded. We will be coming back to this one!

We did this hike Dec. 28th and it was chilly - but totally worth it! the trail is narrow the whole way and steep and rocky at some points. the trail was really well maintained and marked. all the downed trees and the pricier bushes were cut so we could pass through without any problems. the river along the way and the falls at the end were really amazing. We're not sure how long the whole hike was, but moving nonstop at a pretty fast pace we hiked back in about 80 minutes (we were trying to beat the sunset). if you're doing this hike in the winter leave plenty of time for exploration before dark, it may take you longer than anticipated!

Easy hike! Went the day after Christmas and it was not very busy. I would suggest starting before 2 or so.

It was a beautiful trail. The drive in was pretty steep and def a few scary spots if you're afraid of heights. Make sure you've downloaded your maps because there will be no cell service for a very long time and be sure you've got plenty of gas and supplies not anything around for quite a while.

Great trail and dog friendly!

Super easy hike. Fun view!

Properly named trail as it was an amazing view at the top. Being able to see the swamp below and watch the train go by in the far distance and knowing how far that span was gives you perspective. I drove 5.5 hrs from Davenport Iowa to do this hike and photo snake road. Can’t imagine being on snake road during the peak of the migration.

This was a nice easy trail. My four year old was able to do it with ease. The road up there was easy with one area that would require you to take it slow for about 20 yards.
We went on a Saturday (veterans day) and it was busy with lots of dogs. The trail was clean though. One of the best views between the Rockies and Appalachian Mtns.

Amazing place and scenery!
