Beautiful hike! Steady incline to the summit but not very hard at all. Awesome views. Please pick up your dogs poop! I’ve done this trail multiple times and have always found people just leaving their dogs poop bag along the trail. There is a trash can at the bottom, it isn’t hard to do. If you find a lot of bags littered, consider picking it up and disposing of it yourself. Let’s keep the trail clean!

This trail was very scenic and beautiful. Easy hike and worth the views!

Highly recommend spikes on shoes this time of year, practically a necessity. Fairly short way up for an incredible pay off

Beautiful!!!

Very little traffic compared to the main park, offers beautiful views year round. The steps going back up the trail pose a little difficulty for some, but if the trail is taken completely looped around, it's not really an issue. Highly recommend!

Paved path. Easy. Nice views.

Awesome views. Started snowing once we were at the top. However, you should have spikes on your shoes right now. Tons of slick ice. Fell most of the way down. But was worth it.

nice trails, plenty of wildlife, nice river views

Sooooo dope 10/10 with beautiful sights all the way up. Hiked in December of 2018 and the first bit was pretty icy just watch where you’re going!

nice little hike. consistent uphill climb but not too difficult. trail has packed snow and ice on the north side. very nice view of Colorado Springs.

Nice little stroll around the lake. Good for an easy way to get outside.

Stunning view from the top, especially with the snow and Christmas lights around the city. Trail was lightly covered in snow, definitely icy in spots from being packed down. Spikes not necessary, yaktrax may have been a little helpful in the icier areas, but also not a necessity. Left the trailhead at 4:30pm, jogged (slowly) about half of the trail back down and got to the car by 5:15 just as it got dark enough for a headlamp. Short and sweet!

Nice red sandstone formations. Easy paved road.

Nice easy trails-great for a morning walk with the dog. Some trails go up a little and there’s great views of mountains and city.

A grand few hours with my three year old lad. Pretty skippy at the bottom and we took our time coming down but we made it up and back safe and sound. Some lovely views and we only saw about eight other folks the whole time so it was perfect.

Great winter hike on a snow covered trail. Unfortunately, we did not get to enjoy the views at the top as it was very cloudy. A long-tailed weasel crossed our path with a vole in its mouth and we also saw a woodpecker. There were also several dogs not on leashes as well as bagged (and unbagged) dog poop littering the trail.

Easy trail. Lots of pines. Not much else.

This is an easy loop and not even a little moderate. There are more interesting trails in the park. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a wonderful easy little loop, but there are other trails in the park that make it clear this one can’t be 5 stars.

This place is over rated. We went to this lake and found dead fish scattered all around the lake. The smell wasn’t nice and it was dirty.

There are a lot of smaller trails and it is easy to end up on them accidentally, but they all connect eventually. It’s nice if you just want to get outside and wander for a little bit!

Beautiful view of the Broadmoors 7 falls and zip lining course

Great payoff for the short hike!

beautiful short hike. I went early to get parking and was happy that the trail was fairly empty. there are a few steep drop off on the trail but totally navigable. views at the top are great.

Trail is closed during the winter. Didn’t know til I tried today 10/14/18. I have to pick a star so I chose 3 but I really don’t know. I just wanted to tell peeps this place is closed.

My wife and I went on Zook a couple of days ago. She loves hiking, but has fibromyalgia which makes it hard for her to go on the more difficult trails. Zook was easy enough it didn't cause her to feel worn down after, and she still really enjoyed herself.

Beautiful views. Easy hike. Safe area.

lots of birds and other animals to see. my kids love it here

nice views and easy hike. good for my elderly dog

The Charlie Buckskin trail follows the main road for quite a ways, but it is away from a lot of the crowds in the central garden. It does offer a good opportunity to view wildlife and wildflowers.

A mostly easy climb, occasional sheer cliff-face with some washout. Beautiful views of Colorado springs, Seven falls and the surrounding mountains. Highly recommend an early hike for low temps and striking photography light.
