Beautiful trail!! Pretty easy but windy.

Beautiful and worth the short walk

worth the short hike. beautiful

Loved the soft dirt, gorgeous, and at the end there was a few ponds. Would love to see what this would be like in April.

Nice short trail to a small pool of water in the rock. Petroglyphs along the way which is nice. Restrooms at trailhead and fairly decent parking area compared to other areas in valley of fire state park

Great little trail... and nice, scenic drive to get there.

You can walk all around and through the falls and hike to the top also. Easy for kids. Beautifully maintained area.

Very easy worthwhile hike. Beautiful spring at the end - surrounded by October colors. Go counterclockwise - better for knees on way back.
Good warm up for the peak the next day.

Hiked on 10/29/18. Fall foliage is at near peak color and absolutely gorgeous!

Thank goodness for the rock cairns! Beautiful views of the fall colors in the Bosque del Apache and the Magdalenas. Well worth it!

Kid friendly!! My daughters hiked barefooted because it’s all sand. We found water at the end of the hike and several small caves.

Loved the view of fall colors throughout the hike!

A short hike but a beautiful view. It was very hot the day we went but the crowds weren’t bad.

Went Oct 27/2018, very nice day, around 80 degrees. Beautiful hike, and not very difficult.

Nice quick hike.

Nice lil trek. Super easy and the vastness of your view from horizon to horizon just really reminds you of how small we are on the planet. I liked the sound of only the wind in my ears.

Lots of fun to follow the wash up, and the Hiker's Staircase and Devil's Hall were amazing sights. Spotted a tarantula and a few deer.

Very interesting hike along the base of the mountain along a washed out river bed. The Devil's hall and the stairs leading to it are quite a sight. Great for those who want a hike without much elevation gain.

It was beautiful and is it’s really easy just be careful when stepping on rocks. There will be a way to look at this waterfall. Really good for little ones or beginners. :)

Lovely hike, took my 9 year old nephew and he loves it! Very scenic! We went in fall and the colors along with the nature and wildlife was totally amazing!

I recommend timing to finish this hike no later than 8-9am in the summer months. Direct sunlight 90% of the trail so bring hats, sunscreen, water! Just before sunrise/just after sunset is the best time to go— better photo ops when the sun isn’t directly on the wave. Very simple & easy trail to follow though. I saw a group of 15+ bighorn sheep right along the trail which was neat!

Nice relatively flat trek out to some interesting stripped rock formations. Entire trail is open with little or no shade and could be extremely hot during certain times of the day or year. This early morning early September walk was very pleasant

Would be difficult to follow without the excellent cairn work

9/7/18, P.M.
Did whole trail; no chance to record.
Easy walk, viewing the site.
Some wise steps, except for one, inclines are not steep (and even then, it wasn’t really steep, just in comparison to the rest of the trail).
Incredible to think how many millions of years those logs have been around!
I recommend for all levels.

I may have timed it just right, I had that trail to myself, not another human all day. A different type of hike because much of it follows a dry wash (dry when I was there at least.) Be sure and include this trail when visiting the area.

Nice hike. Beautiful views. It doesn't get difficult because of the huge boulders you have to climb
