Spectacular views! It is worthwhile all the hiking.
They were moments we thought we lost the trail but we found it. Monumental! A jewel in the wilderness.

Very nice view of Kings Creek Falls. But the best part of this trail was the steep returning trail along the creek. Many picturesque cascades of Kings Creek and colorful vegetation surrounding it added this trail's value in my opinion. I think I took one of the best pictures here during 5 days in Lassen NP.

A second trip to this wonderful place is in store with the family. Went with the Fresno Fly Fishers for Conservation and this hike to long lake was awesome. Highly recommend for all ages.

Went to the Channel Islands for the day and this was one of the 3 hikes we did. Cool views, but not quite as spectacular as we were expecting.

One of my favorite hikes ever!! Stunning woods with amazing waterfall! We actually climbed under the bridge for cool air & shade to have lunch & admire the views. The inclines are trickier because of the altitude but very doable.

One of my favorite trails in LNP.

Such a beautiful trail! We did the out and back trail to the falls and stopped to dip our feet in the creek just upstream. Nice and relaxing and not too difficult. My boyfriend and I finished the trail with Tevas on but ended up with pretty dirty feet. Would recommend hiking boots or running shoes.

I loved this hike so much. Not difficult at all, absolutely beautiful, bring a picnic and hang out! However, I would call this heavily trafficked, not moderately. I went on a Sunday and parking was a nightmare. Definitely go early.

Realize that I have bad knees from an auto accident and an older so the hike down to the falls was brutal on my knees but it was worth it. I took almost 4 hrs for the whole loop. After I reached the falls, I ate lunch there and rested my knees. The steep steps up were hard but there are several places to stop....and it’s such an incredible view of the kings creek cascades that even if you don’t have asthma and bad knees like me, stop to look at these series of water falls that traverse about .5 miles. Do it

I got to this trail days before the storm which caused a lot of damage. I feel very fortunate to have seen this amazing trail, it honestly is one of my favorites in Zion NP. There are three pools on the trail, and you can loop this trail up to bus stop 5 for a good 3-4 hour, relaxing adventure. For this being one of the most popular national parks in the nation, this trail was fairly desolate (in comparison to the narrows or the line to the shuttle!). If you are heading to Zion, This is a must see trail to really capture the wilderness of the park!

Beautiful ocean views all around. Not much vegetation.

With high temperatures continuously soaring, the landscape hardly had any sort of vegetation. However, revegetation is being carried through to make sure Santa Cruz Island is abundant in life to ensure ecological restoration. Regarding the hike itself, the trail consisted mostly of going downhill. You’ll also be passing though Smuggler’s Canyon Trail. As a result of hiking past another trail, it was difficult to record the actual amount of time and distance it took me to get to Smuggler’s Cove.

The map displayed that the hike towards Smuggler’s Cove is 7.5 miles, but from my experience, it was half that distance. This indicates, to me, that the distance is the total hike of going there and going back, in other words, a round trip.

When you get there, there’ll be few vegetation and the shore is compiled of rocks.

I put three stars because lack of vegetation and good scenic views.

Awesome trail. Some tough spots prior to getting to the pass. Well worth the effort.

Great place, beautiful scenery, hike up is not to shabby, my 5 year old son loved leading the way. We hiked on the more difficult path on the way back shorter distance. Beautiful views, overall I would say it’s an easy hike and the falls were worth checking out.

Lots of bird watching. Kid friendly

stunning views, clear blue skies with some big white cumulus- essentially no mosquitoes. Did have difficulty finding the trail after the first 2 lakes- essentially hiked up edge of water fall with some bushwacking where bushes have overgrown trail- well worth the effort

Scenic. We hiked in the afternoon which was ideal as it was shaded. Majestic views all around! We hiked from the 6th tram stop back down to the 5th. Enjoyable.

Loved this hike. We saw a momma bear with her two cubs on our way down to the falls. Thought we saw it all at the falls until we hiked up the one way trail on our way back, breathtaking... highly recommend this hike.

A lovely hike if you're looking for a trail that takes you by (and in) water. It'll cool you off a little if you're a summer hiker.

Fun hike on mostly paved road. Water was nice to swim in at the cove. Great scenery and solitude.

Rocky terrain with never-ending western sea gulls, pelicans, and another bird species everywhere. There are spots to take amazing photos though! Kayaking, snorkeling, and camping is allowed.

Has anybody done Bishop Pass or Treasure Lakes recently? I'm worried about the air quality. Does anybody know how it is up there?

I really enjoyed this trail. Awesome, commanding ocean views for the majority of the trail. I could see other islands in the distance and the mountain peaks of the island I was on. The cove was cool, too; I went at low tide and was able to do a little tide pooling. I saw jellies, snails, hermit crabs, anemones, fiddler crabs in the water and tons of lizards and grey foxes on land. Steep hike (definitely got a good glute workout and my knees didn't like me at the end) but a very enjoyable, scenic hike...would do again if I had the opportunity.

Hiked this last year. The waterfall is a bit underwhelming but the high light was the bear in the meadow chilling and eating. Beautiful hike and scenery tho and a river to cool off in if you’d like to.

This is a beautiful hike! We parked at the King’s Creek picnic area and walked to the trail. We saw bear cubs with their mom, beautiful meadows, and lots of deer! The hike is pretty easy to the waterfall (which is slightly anticlimactic after all the gorgeous scenery), but the climb back up is pretty difficult. Not a hike for those who can’t climb up steep rock stairs and it’s pretty slippery. The Trail did continue further, but we ran out of daylight and had to turn around at the falls. Definitely worth it though!
Bring a map with you! They do not mark the trail heads well.

My favorite hike of our vacation. Beautiful scenery.

We arrived at 8 AM on a Thursday at the end of July and the parking lot was half full.

Such a beautiful trail! Well groomed! Beautiful wild flowers surrounding all over + the lovely sound of the rushing water. And then the most spectacular views at the lake! This is a must trail for all!
