Busy easy hike. Beautiful waterfall!

Beautiful waterfall!

Short, easy trail to a beautiful waterfall. Numerous No Pet signs, but we encountered two fellow hikers who thought they were "special". Each had dogs! Folks, rules exist for a reason. We called each of these gentlemen out for their wrongdoing, but neither cared at the moment. We need to be the stewards of these beautiful areas! Oh, mosquitoes were minimal today.

Probably would’ve given this 4 stars if it weren’t for the crowds. The trail is short and easy, so it’s hard to spread out from others, especially at the end. The trail is very pretty though, although we found the trail 7-8 miles before it off the road to be nicer just in terms of serenity as well the rainforest type scenery (the name escapes me).

This is such a beautiful area. We loved wandering through the rainforest with our three kids: 6,4,2

This was fun. The kids enjoyed it. So did we :)

easy short hike to beautiful falls, the mosquitos/flys were bad (use bug repellent or where long sleeves.) this is a very well maintained, very trafficked trail. visited during a Monday afternoon at the end of July and the trail / parking lot were packed.

Beautiful beach to wander around. A few cool rock croppings to explore and climb on. There was also a giant pile of accumulated drift trees between trail end and beach we had to climb over - some areas easier than others.

Beautiful walk on the beach - mostly sand but some pebbly areas. Spotted a bald eagle in the top of a tree about halfway there. Also enjoyed exploring the tide pools around the Hole-in-the-wall to see all the creatures living there: hermit crabs, baby fish, sea anemones.

Very nice, flat stroll. Beautiful views of Lake Crescent the entire hike. Must see Devil’s Punchbowl- as others have said, take the trail LEFT of the 1st tunnel, not through the tunnel. You will cross a bridge over the swimming hole. Then loop around so that you go through the tunnel on the return trip. Great for kids!

Easy and worth it. Kids can even do it. It is pretty busy though.

Great views, and moderate level of difficulty if you’re not used to hiking. Easy otherwise and beautiful.

Beautiful and short hike from Lake Crescent Lodge, it’s a well maintained trails. Old trees big rocks and the Falls I love them all. The wood stairs are well taking care of. Going up the upper Falls is a little hard on my knees, but it’s worth it. If you want a little easier hike for your knees the lower Falls is a better choice. My 6 years does not have a problem with it though. I’m surprised he didn’t complain. We enjoyed it. I recommend this trail.

Yeah- the trail there is a little muddy right now but not that bad- enjoyed the beach. It wasn't as busy as Rialto but a bit longer to get to some of the rock formations. Still well worth it- And you will need a permit from the Makkahs

Caught in on a late afternoon before high tide when the clouds and the sun were fighting over the beach. It made for some really cool pics. Great beach hike and a must do if your in the area.

Well maintained trail in a beautiful setting. A couple of short climbs, but overall an easy, family friendly walk. It's listed as a one mile loop with 75 feet of elevation gain, but if you're into the amazing trees, it might end up being a little more. I ended up doing 1.85 miles and 138 feet of gain. Lots of people, but definitely worth it.

We hiked from the Spruce RR trailhead all the way to the North Campground, about 5-5.5 miles EACH way. The CLIFF diving, also known as Devil's punchbowl in 1 mile in from trailhead. The reason newbies MISS it is because they wish to walk THRU the RR tunnel. If you're going to swim or watch jumpers, you take the dirt trail to the LEFT of the 1st tunnel. The swimming/cliff diving is on that path along the lake to the side of the 1st bridge. Water is deep, blue and COLD!! Have fun. The next tunnel is 1.6 miles continued along the trail. After that... we "thought" we'd find another trail and it was a LONGGGG trek all the way to that darn North Campground (one portapotty)and then 2 miles back to the 2nd tunnel. Kinda boring from 2nd tunnel to the North campground on a newly crushed gravel road.

One of the most beautiful hikes I’ve ever been on! It’s a pretty easy hike to the falls. We were hoping to get married in front of the falls, but when we got there to check out the location around the end of June it was very very wet and muddy.

Nice short walk through forests that lead to a waterfall.

The trail to the beach is a bit muddy, but well marked and easy to follow. Getting down to the beach is a bit of a climb, but easily manageable if you take your time. There were plenty of families with small children hiking without difficulty.

My family and I took a hike down the Sul Doc Falls trail in mid-June. It was about 45 degrees and a light sprinkle most of the way. In other words, it was PERFECT! It was exactly like I would expect a rain forest to be. Everything is covered with some type of green vegetation. The trail itself is definitely not difficult at all, and the falls is a beautiful sight at the end. Other trails continue past the falls into the forest. I wish we could have continued, but my wife definitely would not go for that as she does not like the "cold". Anyway, if you like easy but beautiful hikes, this is one to take!

Great trail for the entire family. Dog friendly, shaded, well groomed trail for hiking and biking. A few tighter areas that may require walking your bike, but safe for everyone. A lot of people were looking for the bridge and Devils punch bowl but could not find it. Locals may have a better idea, as no one we encountered knew of its location. So ask around if that’s what your going for.

Super easy great short stop. Barely a hike, but beautiful views

Wouldn’t call this a “hike” but a beautiful beach stroll. Rather busy area but still a good spot for low tide to check out the tide pools

The hike to Hole In The Wall did not disappoint! It was a foggy, windy late afternoon walk in, but the sun came out when we arrived. Tide was out and was able to explore.
