Breathtaking views. Beautiful ocean. Dark sand beach. In low tide, a wonderful walk on the beach. Parking at the trailhead; you need a Makah Tribe pass in order to park there. You need go across the Makah Reservation to get to the trailhead. The signs are very easy to follow. There are two ways to get there. The trail is easy but muddy in many places. A wooden staircase has recently been put in at the end and provides an easy access down to the beach, so you don't need to use the rope to go down anymore, but if you prefer, the first rope down the steeper way down is still there. Amazing picture opportunities. Very peaceful and gorgeous place.

Amazing, breathtaking views. Many wonderful picture opportunities. Short, easy, well maintained trail. Convenient parking. Great trail.

Great easy hike, a little climbing over a downed tree, but the falls are just beautiful. Lots of gorgeous pics of moss covered rocks with water flowing over.

More for site-seeing and not as much hiking of course. The hike has beautiful views and is worth the short trek. They have a lot of narrow walk-ways so if you have dogs who get excited around other dogs or people just be aware that it's a tight fit, especially if your dogs get aggressive around other dogs (just be aware).

Beautiful beach especially at low tide! Muddy the second half, but not a bad hike. Lots of side trails to bypass the mud, take them! We went today (april 10, 2018) and not too much mud. Wear good walking shoes with thick soles or hiking boots. Expect to get muddy!

We checked this trail out after doing the Hall of Moss loop. We went about half way to Tom Creek Trail. It was pouring rain! Trail was very muddy so def need some good hiking shoes if you plan on going soon. This trail was nice you get more moss, big trees and a view of the river.

Nice walk along the beach! We crossed the little river and went to the rocks which was cool because no one else was there. Very beautiful view of the ocean and there was a bald eagle so that was a plus.

Beautiful! One of our favorite hikes to add to the list. It takes awhile to get there from Forks (1.5hr) but it was worth the drive. We saw TONS of bald eagles during the drive so that was awesome! The hike itself is easy, light rain, trail had water/muddy so wear boots but overall the trail was really nice. It was a little foggy but you still had good views. Very few people were there so that was a plus. Definitely will come back to this place.

There is lots of snow on the trail still so be prepared. We had to hike on the road for about 1.5 mile before actually getting to the trail head. Most people had snowshoes but we went without so you could do both. It was a pretty hike with all the snow but views were minimal since it was all whited out (reason for 4 stars). Definitely will try again!

25th March. Nice walk. Beautiful views.

You may get winded on your way up, but take your time! The views are spectacular and you may see some mountain goats. Just don't get too close!

I hiked this April 2 and it was beautiful and I would definitely recommend this, it's a little hard going up but the view is worth it.

Super easy hike, great views. Part of the trail higher up past the falls is snowed out this time of year.

Super fun to climb/trek over the rocks and beach wood along the beach. The sea stars and anemones in the tide pools were so cool!

Super easy hike, great view of the falls.

Loved this hike! A great workout and a great challenge with an incline the whole way up, the rope portion after the maintained trail ends was also a unique challenge. The views of crescent lake the the mountains was well worth it!

awesome place to hike and see seastacks and water life. A MUST

Great hike. beautiful lush greenery and creeks along the way. there is a large tree in the way so go around it. falls are roaring this time of the year

La Push is beautiful. Beachwood, tide pools, and relaxing sound of the oceans wave. This is a must!

great challenging hike. be in shape bc this feels like a straight incline for a majority of the hike. views are so worth it!

easy hike with a nice little incline at top for a great view of the falls

Beautiful and accessible for the most novice hiker.

You have to hike 10 miles of road just to access the official Olympic Hot Springs Trailhead. A couple miles in, the road is washed out and uncrossable (deep water). There are several re-routes around the washout. The first is a ~1/4 a mile before the bridge on the Elwha River Trail. Second is right before crossing bridge, though route is rough (steep/flooded/not official trail). The third re-route is a log crossing on the left, in between bridge and road washout. There are red/pink flags marking routes, but these can be confusing. May be difficult with heavy bikes, but doable if you’re adventurous. There were cyclists who did it while we were there. Past the reroute, the road is gradual up to the old Elwha dam. Beyond that it gets steeper and winding, with lots of trees and debris to cross over/around. When you reach the official Trailhead, the snow goes from a couple inches to up to 12’ deep in areas. Hot springs are filled with green algae, and the first 4-5 are Luke warm and shallow (less than knee deep). Get there early to get the deeper pools. Boulder Creek Campground is right there, less than .5 miles from springs, with bear wires and pit toilets. Permits required to camp and no fires/dogs allowed.

Beautiful day to hike the beach. A lot tougher then it looks when your sinking in soft sand, dodging the waves and sliding on small rocks. Check the tide schedule before you head to Rialto.

As those have already stated, the trail head is a mile and a half from the visitor's center where you start when snowshoeing. It wasn't overly crowded. Stunning views on a beautiful day. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Awesome place to visit. The moss is literally covering almost all you see and the dense colors of green are incredible! Highly recommend visiting

Beautiful waterfall, but this is not a actual trail. The falls are right off the road. Parking and bathroom facilities available.

Like the others, watch for the tide schedule! It’s truly a beautiful scene and definitely worthwhile. I went with my grandfather who had no trouble walking down to the water! It’s a fairly easy trail and a popular one as well - we went on the weekend) and it was somewhat difficult to find parking. Definitely would return whenever i have the time to!

Beautiful trail, well marked & maintained. Good for all skill levels.
